Actress and singer Lea Michele will play a one off show at Shoreditch Town Hall, London on Friday 21st April
The intimate show will see her preview tracks from her new album ‘Places’ which is out 28th April. Tickets can be purchased here: http://leamichele.com/2017 Lea has also launched the preorder for the 11 track album, which features the previously released “Love Is Alive” and her powerful new song “Anything’s Possible,” which USA TODAY says is an “anthem that’s ready to inspire.” Lea recently performed “Love Is Alive” on The Late Late Show with James Corden and also appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “When it came time to name my album, I settled on ‘Places’ because this album for me represents a return to form, a return to the stage, and a return to the place I belong,” Lea says. “When you perform on Broadway the word “Places” is the last thing you hear over the loudspeaker before a show is about to begin. “Places” I thought was the perfect title for this music and how it reflects who I am as an artist today and where I come from.” In 2009 Lea Michele debuted in her role as perfectionist firecracker “Rachel Berry” on Ryan Murphy’s critically acclaimed, Golden Globe- and SAG Award-winning series, “Glee.” In 2010, Michele was honoured with an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and a Golden Globe nomination for Best Television Actress – Comedy. That same year, the “Glee” cast won the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, among other awards. She can currently be seen on Fox as Hester in the dark Ryan Murphy comedy “Scream Queens.” She also received raved reviews for her stage performance in the role of “Wendla” for the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of “Spring Awakening,” which earned her a Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Musical. While appearing on television and stage, Michele’s love for music has been a focus point in her career. In March of 2014, she released her album, “Louder,” which debuted at No. 1 on iTunes and in the Top 5 on Billboard charts. Her follow up album “Places” will be available April 28th. www.leamichele.com

Due to release May 19th, Experience was recorded at The Pipeyard Studio in Plymouth, MI. The band also revealed the Official Music Video for the second single, "Trouble In Paradise." "Our album "Experience" captures the duality of life that many will easily relate to - real people, real stories, real emotions. Through the good times, the bad times, the ups and the downs; it's these experiences that make us who we are." - Kaleido Detroit claims a long line of musical trendsetters. Perhaps there's something in the water, or maybe it's the blue collar, put-up-or-shut-up mentality, but the Motor City has served as fertile ground for musical geniuses ranging from Alice Cooper and Kid Rock to Eminem and Bob Seger. Kaleido - comprised of Christina Chriss (vocals), Joey Fava (drums), Ronnie Rosolino (rhythm guitar), Cody Morales (bass) and Zach Bolling (lead guitar) - is a fresh, modern day Detroit incarnation of rock n’ roll. Their upcoming 2017 debut full-length album Experience is straight, unadulterated, feel it in your soul rock with flourishes of pop, R&B, punk & funk undertones - and hooks for days. At the core, Kaleido is reminiscent of the piss-and-vinegar, stadium rock of a young Guns N’ Roses crossed and fused with the lovable, fun and energetic sensibilities of an early No Doubt. Their authentic and memorable songs are highlighted by an explosive live show, both of which quickly gained them notoriety in the Detroit music scene. Named Best Band in Detroit by Real Detroit Weekly in both 2013 & 2014, plus having won two Detroit Music Awards in 2015 for "Outstanding Rock/Pop Group" and "Outstanding Rock Recording" for their second independent EP 'Unbreakable', they have since taken the show on the road, lighting up stages on the Van's Warped Tour, Rockstar Uproar Festival, Summerfest, & CMJ Music Marathon and opened for Aerosmith, Slash, Kid Rock, The Offspring, Sammy Hagar, Evanescence, Halestorm, Ace Frehley of Kiss, Twenty One Pilots and countless others. https://www.facebook.com/Kaleidoband Scottish rock outfit Vukovi announce their self-titled debut album, due for release this March 10th via LAB Records, with a full UK headline tour beginning March 10th at Glasgow’s King Tuts. Frantic and explosive, the new music video for lead single and album opener ‘La Di Da’ erupts into a snake-infested frenzy in seconds. “I wanted the video for ‘La Di Da’ to be a representation of my subconscious”, frontwoman Janie Shilstone says. “Almost like watching what a satanic, schizophrenic nightmare would look like.” “At first I was terrified and when David, the owner, turned up with this see-through box. I totally froze when I saw her, though David assured me that she'd never bit or tried to strangle anyone before! Her name was Honey, a 6ft Boa Constrictor, and after 20 mins of stroking her I finally plucked up the courage to hold her. I completely fell in love. She slithered down my left arm and rested her head on my hand, it was so therapeutic. There was one shot where I lay down and got her to slither along my body and she beautifully went behind my ear and then up towards the camera.” Watch ‘La Di Da’ on YouTube - https://youtu.be/lXPM8nXR3Z8 Partly inspired by the Joker and Harley Quinn (from Batman) relationship Janine was obsessed with as a comic book loving teen, “the song portrays an abusive relationship unbeknown to the victim,” says the singer. “There are a lot of emotions throughout the song. There’s vulnerability, and there’s resistance. It took time to come together, and it had to live on the back burner for a while. But one night I gave in to the niggling that kept demanding I go back to it. I remember the moment it came together; me and Hamish (Reilly, guitars) in my flat drinking pretentious cocktails, laptop, tiny amp, guitar…” Incessantly giddy, intoxicatingly catchy; the end result more than rewards the toil. Vukovi’s self-titled debut album is the definitive snapshot of their Technicolor wonder to date. They demand your attention. Produced by longtime collaborator Bruce Rintoul – “nobody pushes me quite like Bruce” says Janine – its twelve songs take in themes of individuality, drug abuse, depression and suicide. “The record might sound quirky,” says Janine. “But there are many darker notes in there…” Tracks like ‘Prey’ see Shilstone digging deep into personal experience (“it’s about a time in my life where I thought I’d met my knight in shining armor – but he fucked me up even more) and the sublime ‘I’m Wired’, Janine’s favourite song on the record (“I wrote it trying to describe being in a relationship with severe depression and trying to express that you need that person even though you don’t show it most of the time”). There’s introspection here, yes. There’s beauty, sure. But there are songs like ‘And He Lost His Mind’ too, which is as fun as rock music has ever allowed itself to be. A big, bouncy, neon daubed earworm that bores itself into your brain and gobbles up on your serotonin. Then there’s ‘Boy George’, a former single with a guitar sliced through it like a chainsaw through a piñata. And, if you’re going to call a song ‘Bouncy Castle’, chances are that it’s not going to be an acoustic weepy. Vukovi truly excel here, coming on like Paramore span around and around and around until they’re very dizzy and just about ready to hurl up something… wonderful. Q Magazine, NME, Rock Sound, Clash, The Skinny and BBC Radio 1, Vukovi’s reputation as a colossal live band saw them opening for America’s hot new things Highly Suspect late last year, as well as festival appearances at Download, T In The Park, Hard Rock Calling, Live at Leeds, British Summer Time Festival at Hyde Park and many more.
