South Africa's Wildernessking have issued the following statement about their forthcoming Euro tour and 2017 plans:-

"2017 is off to a great start as we've been working on a few things lately... after a few attempts to make this happen, we are beyond thrilled to announce our first European tour.

San Francisco Bay Area thrash legends Death Angel, who seemingly never slow down, are very pleased to announce that they will be playing four UK headline shows this August.

Salt Lake City deathcore mob Chelsea Grin also land an early main stage slot on Friday. Norwegian black metal icons Mayhem are commemorating the release of their 1994 landmark De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas full-length with a worldwide live takeover performing the monumental record in its entirety. The band is currently wrapping up their critically-lauded Purgatorium Americæ Septentrionalis MMXVII tour with support from Black Anvil and Inquisition, with their final two performances - February 19th at the Gramercy Theater in New York, New York and a very special, intimate MAYHEM-only appearance on February 20th at Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, New York - now sold out.

Following a short break, Mayhem will return to the road for a near-month-long European jaunt. De Profundis have been confirmed as part of a touring package that will be bringing an icy chill to spring in the UK. week.This year, the World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise travelled from Fort Lauderdale in Florida to Labadee in Haiti and back – and aboard were 3000 celebrating and headbanging heavy metal sailors and 61 bands that made the world’s biggest open air stage at sea tremble with their 123 shows in four days. Bands like Anthrax, Overkill, Striker or Arch Enemy rocked the sold out luxury cruiser at its seventh round through the Caribbean.

In times of national compartmentalisation and purposefully stirred xenophobia, the big heavy metal family aboard the Independence Of The Seas impresses with its own alternative draft. As every year, the amount of nations who conjointly mosh, romp around or relax in the hot tubs has increased again – to 74 this year!

The organizers thank this “United Nations Of Heavy Metal At Sea” for four unforgettable days – and also utter appreciation for the crew that helped to arrange the concerts and special events like signing sessions or meet and greets.

And after the cruise is before the cruise: The World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise will set sail next year from February 1 - 5 – and sails from Fort Lauderdale to Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos and back.
