The tour, which will hit a number of iconic small clubs in the Western US, will end on Dec 22nd, where they will be supporting Sumerian Records’ September Mourning at San Diego’s Brick By Brick (owned by ex-members of local legends As I Lay Dying). From smooth soundscapes to addictive and powerful hooks, this band embraces every nuance and feeling that modern rock incites. The unbreakable concoction of four young friends, Paranova’s members share an obsession for making and appreciating memorable music. They set themselves apart by exuding true talent in every measure of every song, never hesitating to take their musical abilities to new levels however possible. The process began with the instrumental stylings of guitarist Dylan Ewing, drummer Logan Dolezal, and the female presence of Erin Sperduti on bass. Soon after assembling, they stumbled upon singer Owen Doheny, providing the smooth vocals and lyrical genius to front the already established instrumental support. Erin and Logan make up the unequivocally tight rhythm section, combining fluid drumming with intricate bass lines to glue the sound together. Dylan takes on the job of multiple guitarists, delivering the inventive soundscapes that simultaneously counteract and enhance the mechanical design of the rhythmic section. The combination of these four create the distinct musical force that is Paranova. Reminiscent of the enigmatic yet moving sounds of A Perfect Circle, The Mars Volta, Chevelle, The Deftones, and many more, Paranova continues to strive to deliver quality, innovative music to the listener. On March 20th, they released their debut EP Exordium. With a literal meaning of “beginning” in the latin language, this release is only the dawn of what Paranova has to contribute to the music scene. An undying dedication to music and innovation will launch Paranova into action, presenting the modern rock scene a force to be reckoned with. https://www.facebook.com/ParanovaOfficial http://www.paranovamusic.com/ |
