Evanescence will be returning to the UK and Europe during November and December on their rescheduled co-headline ‘Worlds Collide’ tour with Within Temptation. Before that, they will be playing some of their own headline shows in June and have just confirmed extra dates in Madrid and Lisbon plus Rock In The City festival in Helsinki.
The band has also just announced a Stateside tour with Korn produced by Live Nation. Accompanied by special guests varying across select dates, the 18-city tour kicks off on August 16th at Ball Arena in Denver, CO making stops across the U.S. in Boston, Chicago, Houston, and more before wrapping up in Ridgefield, WA on September 16th.
“We’re looking forward to going on tour this summer and bringing our friends, Evanescence, out,” said Jonathan Davis of Korn. “Whenever Amy comes to one of our shows, I always love seeing her on the side of the stage watching the whole set and rocking out. We’re gonna have a great time on this tour, and we can’t wait to see you there.”
“I fell hard into Korn’s music in high school. It was an inspiration during the formation of my own band. The chances we’ve had to play together over the years are special, a part of our history. They remain one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen,” said Amy Lee of Evanescence. “It’s an honour and a thrill to go out with our friends again, our first full tour together since ‘07. We’re all really looking forward to this.”

Midnight, the witching hour – even more so in the final night of October to the 1st of November, when according to the popular American Halloween tradition all sorts of ghosts, vampires, and other nocturnal creatures are roaming around in search of sweets and other treats.
There is no better time to announce a true metal monster for the upcoming 31st edition of the Wacken Open Air: Slipknot!
The mask wearing metal maniacs from Des Moines, Iowa have not just evolved into massive chart strikers since their foundation in 1995, but have also earned a justified reputation as a most impressive live act. Anyone who has witnessed the 9-piece band fronted by exceptional vocalist Corey Taylor on stage knows which enormous power their unique baseball bad wielding brand of modern metal can achieve live. Almost one year after the American headliners released their current album "We Are Not Your Kind", Slipknot will enter the main-stage at the Wacken Open Air – for the first time ever at this festival.
Thomas Jensen (festival co-founder and organiser) comments:-
"We are thrilled and admittedly a little proud that one of our great musical dreams will finally come true next year, when Slipknot will be on stage for the first time at the Wacken Open Air. We are also glad for this opportunity to state once again that being sold out is never a reason for us to stop working on delivering a great billing. We would like to thank our fans for their continued trust and hope that this announcement will be as great for them as it is for us."
This year’s Wacken Open Air will take place from the 30th of July until the 1st of August 2020. Further information can be found at www.wacken.com.

Music often functions as that proverbial light at the end of the tunnel and provides shelter during any storm and calm in the middle of tumult. 36 Crazyfists understand this phenomenon first-hand. In fact, the Anchorage quartet—Brock Lindow [vocals], Steve Holt [guitar], Mick Whitney [bass], and Kyle Baltus [drums]—find catharsis within chaos on their aptly titled seventh full-length, ‘Lanterns’.
