After recently announcing to share the stage with Eskimo Callboy in early 2022 the band now makes the next step by hosting their own European headline tour. Blind Channel comments: “It’s incredible that we’re able to start preparing for a wide headline tour in Europe. We’re also super excited to play our first shows ever in Russia and to be able to play songs from our fourth album. 2022 will be massive.” The band also recently released the new single ‘We Are No Saints’. Enter Shikari announces Slam Dunk headline, intimate 10 year anniversary shows and signing sessions13/11/2016  Even a band as resolutely committed to forward motion as Enter Shikari sometimes has to pause to take stock and review the ground they’ve covered. The 10 year anniversary of the release of debut album ‘Take To The Skies’ seems as good a time as any. Recorded in Reading, England by the band while still in their teens, on a budget of “not very much at all”, the album has gone on to sell 140,000+ copies in the UK alone, and in a very short space of time took Enter Shikari from a young band touring the small / medium sized clubs of the UK to big venues and festival main stages worldwide. In spring 2017, The band will be taking time out from work on their fifth “proper” album to perform a handful of shows worldwide over the space of a couple of months or so celebrating the anniversary of ’Take To The Skies’, with this UK / Ireland leg the first to be announced. Enter Shikari will headline 2017’s Slam Dunk Festival in Birmingham, Leeds and Hatfield, as well as two intimate warm-up shows in Belfast & Dublin. Rather than use the 10,000 capacity space that will house the full-blown ‘arena rock show’, Ally Pally offered the band the use of the seldom-seen-by-the-general-public Victorian Theatre for the recording. The theatre, largely unused in this century, is a hidden gem behind the main building. A 2500 capacity ornate room that has, over the past 100+ years, served as not only a place of entertainment but also a haven for Belgian refugees, a BBC props store, and a German internment camp.
