Arguably India's biggest band Demonic Resurrection have recently announced a massive tour of the UK with special guests Wretched Soul.

Also for this tour Arran McSporran and Shoi Sen from UK metallers De Profundis will be joining the DR line-up on bass and lead guitar respectively.

PAGANLAND was founded in 1997 by Ruen and Bilozor in Lviv – one of the most beautiful Ukrainian cities, whose developed traditions incorporated the European cultural spirit of the last millennium, and every stone breathes with centuries-old history of decline and revival, wars and temporary rest.

The natural mysticism hidden in the Carpathians’ greatness, the dense woods and pure mountain sources could not but affect musicians with Pagan outlook, therefore their debut demo "Gods of Golden Circle" (1999) and the demo "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors" (2008) one way or another had been nearly related to Pagan Metal.

The line-up’s changes, routine of rehearsals, hardships of concert activity caused the group’s breakup in 2005, but three years later the group revived and in 2011 recorded the first full-length album "Wind Of Freedom", having resumed their concert activity. This album was released in 2013 by Svarga Music. One year later band records a second album called "Fatherland" which is dedicated to all Patriots of Ukraine fighting against Russian aggression.

PAGANLAND is a group of persons holding the same views, who respect and love their native land, their nation, their language and who are convinced that the Ukraine is the cradle of all Slavonic people with improbably interesting history forgotten and distorted for the last ten centuries. Megaliths and petroglyphs of Kamennaya Mogila (the Stone Grave), the sanctuary-observatory of Khortytsia, the ancient observatory of Mavrinsky Maidan, the mysterious zone of Suppert… The runes of "Veles’ Book" and runic manuscripts from the library of Anna Yaroslavna (Queen of France and Princess of Ukraine)… Secret knowledge of molfars and volkhves… How many of the people worldwide at least simply heard about all of this?

The group members try to express their love of the native land, the nature in their lyrics and music, as well as draw attention of their listeners to the fact that not only money and lie rule the world in the period of the Epoch of Pisces. The human can and has to stand up for the truth, and the truth of life had been established long ago by our ancestors. All meaning of the group’s creative activity is the tribute to our land, our ancient culture, our history.

Also nabbing a Friday slot opening the main stage are British metal crew, Feed The Rhino. The quintet’s latest album, ‘The Silence’ landed last month via Century Media with lead track, ‘Heedless’ landing its premiere via Daniel P. Japanese power metal ladies, Lovebites join us for a slot on Friday’s Sophie Lancaster stage. The five piece release a new mini-album, ‘Battle Against Damnation’ on 6th June, but if you’re not up to speed on the band, make sure you investigate this video for ‘Shadowmaker’ and additional news info over at their Facebook page.

London death metallers, De Profundis join us in a Sophie stage slot on Friday. The band are readying the release in May of new album, ‘The Blinding Light of Faith’. Get a load of this new track ‘Bastard Sons of Abraham’ and then view the array of purchase options (digital, physical and special bundles) over on their Bandcamp page.

In what promises to be the biggest year for Evanescence yet, the group’s “Synthesis Live” tour kicks off in the UK with two sold out nights at the Royal Festival Hall on March 30th and 31st.

Few people in rock music have the pipes of vocalist Amy Lee. Her soulful tone and distinguished sound are as identifiable as they are unique, and this time the band will be bringing a live orchestra and electronic programming out on the road with them, conducted by Susie Benchasil Seiter. Lee says “This will be our first time touring with orchestra and I’m so excited to perform this way-really focus on the vocals, and the emotion and the story we’ve built over the years”

Evanescence released Synthesis, their fourth and most ambitious album to date in November last year. The band - lead singer-songwriter and pianist Amy Lee, bassist Tim McCord, drummer Will Hunt, lead guitarist/backing vocalist Troy McLawhorn and guitarist Jen Majura along with producers Will Hunt and orchestra arranger and composer David Campbell reworked classic Evanescence tracks along with two new songs, the first of which, entitled “Imperfection” can be heard HERE. The album includes a guest performance by celebrated violinist Lindsey Stirling on “Hi-Lo” the other new song on the album.
 
Amy Lee explains the meaning behind “Imperfection,” “For me, this is the most important song on the album. It's for all the people we’ve lost, all the people who we could lose, to suicide and depression. I'm singing from the perspective of the person left behind, the person in the waiting room. It’s a plea to fight for your life, to stay. Don't give into the fear- I have to tell myself that every day. Nobody is perfect.  We are all imperfect, and it’s precisely those imperfections that make us who we are, and we have to embrace them because there’s so much beauty in those differences. Life is worth fighting for. You are worth fighting for.”

Serbian Black Metal spearheads The Stone will embark on tour in only a few days. Planned are a number of dates in Europe alongside Sweden's IXXI and Czech Republic's Inferno. Additionally, there will be a local support band for any of the shows. The Stone will play the tour in order to introduce the new material of their album "Teatar Apsurda" (released in December 2017) live as well. The Stone's 7th studio album was highly praised by both fans and press worldwide.

UK groove death metallers Bloodshot Dawn announce their first cross Canada tour this coming April in support of their third full length album "Reanimation" unleashed this past January via Hostile Media. The tour will kick off in Quebec City on April 17th and wrap up in Calgary on May 1st. Supporting the band across the country will be Cambridge, ON's Aepoch. Canada is also guitarist Morgan Reid's home country and it's a special return home for him. The Canadian shredder joined the band's line up after previous guitarist Ben Ellis went on to perform with Scar Symmetry. Reid is now part of Bloodshot Dawn's fresh assault that includes sticksman James Stewart of Vader fame on drums, new bass player Giacomo Gastaldi along with vocalist and guitarist Josh McMorran.

"We are hitting Canada this April and we are excited to perform in North America for the first time. We're looking forward to headbanging with all our Canadian fans and visiting the beautiful country our guitarist Morgan grew up in." says band leader Josh McMorran.

First formed in 2003, Bloodshot Dawn have evolved into a technically ferocious extreme metal outfit. Hailed by Terrorizer Magazine as a band that delivers “blistering live shows”, Bloodshot Dawn has become a household name in the UK underground along with truly establishing themselves as a heavyweight act amongst their peers and the worldwide metal scene.
