Japan's Gyze announce dates for forthcoming six-day European tour

Japan's finest metal band Gyze, who are celebrating the release of their brand new EP 'The Rising Dragon' today, have announced a bunch of European summer live dates!

Formed in 2009 in Sapporo, Japan, Gyze gained credence among many talented local artists. As a result, they were invited to Tokyo where they released their first EP in 2011. In 2012 the band took the second place in national Metal-Battle Finals in Japan organized by Wacken Open Air. Being noticed overseas Gyze signed their first contract with Coroner Records.

Their first album “Fascinating Violence” was released Worldwide in 2013 and 2014 in Japan. It was ranked #1 on Amazon for consequent 3 months and topped the import CD charts in BURRN! magazine. After their major debut in Japan with Victor Entertainment in September 2014, Gyze have released their second full-format album in Japan and in 2015 Worldwide. In late 2016 Gyze joined the collaboration project to create the soundtrack for a PS4 game ”Let It DIe” developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and released worldwide by GungHo Online. Having gained recognition among the world metalheads, Gyze released their 3rd full-length album with Universal Music Japan in March 2017. Today Gyze have released their brand new new EP 'The Rising Dragon' ( including a stunning bonus track featuring Marc Hudson of Dragonforce! ), which gives an absolutely new feel and is filled with haunting Japanese melodies. Bloodstock to release day tickets, announce more bands & new entertainment plans

With just six weekends to go, Bloodstock release a limited number of day tickets at 9am this Friday, 29th June!  Adult day tickets are priced at £65 (+ booking fee) and child day tickets at £20 (+ booking fee) and will be available at http://bloodstock.seetickets.com. 

You can still also pick up four-day ‘weekend tickets with camping’, priced £145 (+ booking fee), and children’s weekend tickets at just £35 (+ booking fee). Children under 4 years old go free!  Weekend tickets are selling faster than ever and just like last year, are highly likely to sell out in advance, so don’t delay if you want to guarantee access to the UK’s best metal weekender!

Bloodstock can also share that blackened death metal band Demonic Resurrection (www.facebook.com/DemonicResurrection) are joining the Sophie Lancaster stage line-up on Sunday, replacing Bio Cancer who have regrettably had to cancel. Bloodstock’s also pleased to reveal a load of brand new entertainment will take place over at the Sophie Lancaster stage after the bands finish. For those of you less keen on sleep, the tent will transition into ‘The Lock In’, a fully immersive club night presented by Old Blue Last Beer and hosted by comedian Andrew O’Neill. Each night will feature a different DJ, celebrating a decade of metal! Thursday sees DJ Krusher unearthing tracks from the ‘70s, Friday rocks out to the ‘80s with dark lord Alexander Milas, on Saturday metal encyclopedia Dom Lawson brings you the best of the ‘90s, and Metal Hammer editor Merlin Alderslade rounds out Sunday’s fun with top tunes from the ‘00s. Not only that, you can expect movies, world record attempts, games, prizes, a giant can sculpture(!) and even more.

English Heavy Metallers Kaine announce 2019 tenth year anniversary show

Kaine’s Ten Year Anniversary show will take place at the Colchester Arts Centre on Saturday, April 27th 2019. This will be the biggest show the band has ever done, with a set comprising of material from all releases and will feature guest appearances from past members of the band in a special celebration of the bands achievements over the past decade. Supports to be announced. 

The Arts Centre is one of East Anglia’s leading venues with an excellent sound, stage and lighting set up. The band will also be filming a DVD and recording a live-album of the night. This will be a Kaine show like no other, and fans of the band will not want to miss this.

We advise the you book now to avoid disappointment as spaces are limited. Colchester has excellent transport links by rail (just an hour from London), with the venue in walking distance of both the train station and Town Centre, with many affordable hotels in the nearby area for fans to take advantage of which can be booked in advance for lower costs.

France's Voight Kampff announce Festival appearances at HellFest & Garmonbozia

Techno-Thrash French group Voight Kampff will play play at the world renowned HellFest which takes place in Clisson, France from June 22nd – 24th and will feature such megastars as Avenged Sevenfold, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest to name but a few (over 140 bands). It’s a “not to be missed” weekend for metalheads and Voight Kampff will be strutting their stuff on Friday, the 22nd.

The group have also announced their appearance at this years Garmonbozia Festival in Renne, France. It’s the 20th anniversary of the festival and other featured bands will be Carcass, Enslaved and more. It all takes place on October 26th/27th where Voight Kampff will continue to promote their excellent new album Substance Rêve released via Sliptrick Records on April 24th.

South Africa's Seether announces Fall dates for 'Poison The Parish' 2018 U.S. tour

Alt Metallers, Seether have announced additional dates this fall for their Poison the Parish 2018 U.S. Tour. The run kicks off on September 13th with a performance at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC and will hit cities across the east coast and Midwest - full routing below - tickets go on sale June 22nd at 10am local time. Poison the Parish, the multi-platinum selling band's seventh studio album, was released in May, 2017 and debuted at # 1 on Billboard's Hard Rock Albums chart and #14 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart. Recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, Tennessee, it marked the first album produced entirely by front man Shaun Morgan and was released through Morgan's newly launched label imprint, Canine Riot Records (via Fantasy.) So far, the album has spawned two top rock radio hits, "Let You Down" which reached #1 for four consecutive weeks, and the top 5 rock radio hit, "Betray and Degrade."

England's Bury Tomorrow announce UK headline tour for December!

Bury Tomorrow have today announced their first UK headline tour in support of their forthcoming 'Black Flame' album, out July 13th on Music For Nations. 

Speaking of the tour, frontman Daniel Winter-Bates says:-

     "This is without a doubt the biggest tour our band has ever done. It's a celebration of where we’ve come from and where we are headed. Black Flame is the album we have always wanted to make and there is no better place to hear it than on this tour. We are absolutely honoured to be taking out 36 Crazyfists, a band that inspired us from the very beginning, showing that true metalcore is still alive and well. Cane Hill are also on board to add the crushing power to a stacked line up!"

Icelandic black metal sensation Auðn have announced a co-headlining tour with French label mates The Great Old Ones in November 2018. The tour will start in Switzerland, and continues through Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, the UK and has the final date in France. A full list of tour dates can be found below.

Germany's Oomph! announces European tour & unveils release date of upcoming album

The pioneers of German Rock (Neue Deutsche Harte) Oomph! have just announced the dates for their upcoming European tour in support of their new studio album which will be released on January 18th 2019 via Napalm Records.

Oomph! comments on the recently unveiled signing with Napalm Records:       

     "We’re looking forward to release our thirteenth studio album together with Napalm Records on January 18th, 2019! This time at the same time in quite a lot of countries in the world, even in countries, where it was difficult for our fans to get our CDs immediately. At the moment we are still working on recording the last guitar riffs in our studio and have started to mix the album in parallel. One thing we can tell you: it's going to be very hard and dark!”

Oomph! will take the road again in 2019 with a series of headliner appearances on a full European Tour in March all over Europe.
