Slay bells are about to ring, as three-time Grammy-nominated hard rock heavyweights and platinum-selling band Killswitch Engage have announced a trio of holiday season shows.
The band will play at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville NJ on December 28; at The Paramount in Huntington, NY on December 29; and a hometown show at The Palladium in Worcester, MA on December 30.
Rivers of Nihil, Unearth, and a third opener to be announced will serve as support at all three shows. Get tickets here.
"It's been a while since we've been able to do a holiday show so let's fix that," says singer Jesse Leach. "We are stoked to announce these three 'holiday-themed' shows, which will surely be fun and maniacal. Expect things to be out of control and crazy! It will be rounded out by the prolific — and a band favourite — with Rivers of Nihil, as well as our old school friends in Unearth. The sets, the stage, and the vibe will be like no other Killswitch show you have seen! This will be a perfect send off for us as we head into the studio for our new record! Let's do this my friends!"

’Twas the Friday before Christmas, when all over the ’farm,
instead of turning in early, we raised the alarm,
A concert would be held, in ol’ Camden Town,
Dress in denim ‘n’ leather, no need for a gown,
But who was the host of this festive soirée?
Orange Goblin of course, for their annual partayyyy…!
It doesn’t matter if you’ve been naughty or nice this year, Orange Goblin invite you to their annual evening of stoner metal merriment at the Electric Ballroom in Camden Town, North London on Friday, December 22nd.
As is tradition, they’ll be bringing along some Evil Elves to help spread the festive cheer, and 2017’s Special Guests are none other than Karma To Burn, Black Moth & Riddles.
“It’s that time of year again, when we get to unleash a little bit of Heavy Metal festive cheer,” proclaims Orange Goblin front-man Ben Ward. “We are very excited to announce this year’s show, back at the trusted Electric Ballroom in Camden on Friday, December 22nd, and we have an amazing array of support bands to make this a very special Christmas show.
First up, there’s London’s own retro firecrackers, Riddles, who are sure to get things moving with their groove-laden mix of Sabbath and Hawkwind. Next up, there’s the awesome Black Moth, who are always devastating live and have just recorded what will surely be one of the albums of 2018. Then, as main support, we have a real treat for everyone with a very rare UK appearance from our old friends from West Virginia, the legendary Karma To Burn. Not forgetting ourselves, of course!
We’ve been very busy this year, playing festivals all over the world, and at the same time writing material for a new album, which will be recorded in January 2018. Who knows, we may even play a couple of brand new songs as an early Christmas present?? See you there, folks!”
Having survived the summer festivals, Orange Goblin round off the year with a handful of headline shows in Ireland, plus festival appearances in Greece, Switzerland, The Netherlands and the UK. November will see them return to the US for an exclusive one-off performance opening the main-stage at the biggest heavy metal festival in America: Ozzfest Meets Knotfest.
Tickets for the Orange Goblin Electric Ballroom event go on sale on Friday, September 29th at 10am.
