The band is currently touring in support of their recently-issued sixth full-length, Mark Of The Blade. Hailed as an, "exciting milestone," by Alternative Press, Mark Of The Blade was produced by Mark Lewis (The Black Dahlia Murder, Cannibal Corpse) and sees Whitechapel redefine who they are and what they are capable of with the resulting eleven tracks. Kicking off with "The Void" - which has a Slayer-esque ferocity that is perfectly suited to the band's three-guitar attack - the songs that follow all leave a distinct impression, and by the time the rich, dark melodies on "Decennium" bring the record to a close, it's impossible to deny the emotional weight brought to bear. Guitarist Alex Wade explains, "At this point in our career and as we grow older, we are taking a more open-minded approach to creating our music, allowing what we think sounds good to evolve naturally, rather than to just write what is expected of us." It not only pounds its listeners into pulp, it also seems to be pounding its own concept of music as well," by No Clean Singing, The Anthropocene Extinction is the most sonically and thematically engrossing record of Cattle Decapitation's maniacal discography. To celebrate her 30th anniversary of performing live, Doro spent 2013/2014 by touring the world extensively, a journey which included three official anniversary shows. The tour kicked off impressively in front of 85,000 people at the world's biggest metal festival, Wacken, followed by two sold-out nights in her home town of Düsseldorf, where she also started her outstanding career. And everyone came to party with Doro: Phil Campbell (Motörhead), Biff Byford (Saxon), Chris Caffery (Savatage), Blaze Bayley (ex-Iron Maiden), Joakim Brodén (Sabaton), Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian), Udo Dirkschneider, Uli Jon Roth, Lordi as well as many more amazing guests. "We spent endless hours, days, and nights working on the DVD," said Doro, "because we wanted to present a real highlight for all rock and metal fans for the 30th anniversary. We took care of every detail. It began already with the fantastic stage at Wacken. We worked one year on its design. In Düsseldorf, we even celebrated two nights in a row. One 'classic night' with a 40-piece orchestra and one 'balls-to-the-wall' rock show on the second evening. It continued subsequently non stop - with an anniversary tour which led us to Russia, South America, and my second home, the US, among other places." Strong And Proud - 30 Years Of Rock And Metal contains 38 songs in total, including all Doro classics, many old Warlock hits and cover versions of songs such as "Fear Of The Dark" (Iron Maiden) and "Balls To The Wall" (Accept). Additionally, Strong And Proud - 30 Years Of Rock And Metal offers a unique two+-hour documentary, Behind The Curtain, Inside The Heart Of Doro. It gives the spectator deep and detailed insights into the world of Doro. "There's great footage from all over the world and never before seen pictures from our life behind the stage. The camera team accompanied us for over one year everywhere and captured very emotional, intimate, and human situations." http://www.facebook.com/DOROOFFICIAL http://www.twitter.com/DOROOFFICIAL http://www.YouTube.com/DOROOFFICIAL Female fronted Los Angeles hard Rock band Hail Sagan has announced that they will be playing in Spokane, Washington at The Pin on August 31st and the Make America Rock Again Tour on September 3rd in Reedley, California (Fresno) at The Wakehouse with Alien Ant Farm, Trapt Tantric and more. The guitar pictured above will be signed by the band and raffled off at the Make America Rock Again Tour on Sept. 3rd in Fresno. The guitar raffle is free for everyone, but we ask you to please make a donation. A portion of the donations will go to the "Love Is Louder" foundation which addresses issues like bullying, negative self-image, discrimination, loneliness, and depression. Hail Sagan features powerhouse vocalist Sagan Amery, with a devilish masked group rumoured to include guitarists Nick Quijano (Powerman 5000) and Andrew Weissberg. Since forming in 2015, the band has amassed a monstrous fanbase, with over 200,000 followers across their social media, solidified further this month with the release of their debut video “Dark Cloud”. The clip, which debuted earlier this month via Revolver, has already gained over 112,000 views. The track, and video, which deals with the subject of abuse and bullying, has already resonated strongly with fans. Amery says:- "It's been a great experience being able to broach the subject of bullying and abuse with the lyrics of this song. We took it one step further and created a video with director Matthew Crum and DP Kenny Keeler that visually enhanced the sensitive subject matter. We chose to mask the members of the band in an effort to show the world that anyone can be a part of this, you never know who will be under there, maybe even a fan or someone who needs music to save them." You can view the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGK6UYAstnc The band will release their self-titled debut EP in Fall 2016 on EMP Label Group, and will be available for pre-order later this month. A flawless continuation of the band's signature sonic philosophy, this week the band shares the album's street date and pre-orders, as well as the first single, "Extinguished Light." Shrines Of Paralysis spans eight tracks of Ulcerate's singular death metal, incorporating a wider range of styles and ideas than ever before. Influences both within and beyond metal abound: organic, inventive phrasings and novel compositional techniques flesh out a thundering package of death, doom, and black metal styles. As is characteristic of the band, Shrines Of Paralysis is about much more than just the music. The production, themes, and atmosphere all shape Ulcerate's music, and help guide the way through a highly evocative palette of dark and light passages, subtly dramatic rhythmic manipulation, and unparalleled technical heaviness. The band's most cohesive and powerful release to date. Stream "Extinguished Light," the first single from Shrines Of Paralysis, via Relapse HERE and the label's Soundcloud HERE. Shrines Of Paralysis is due out October 28th, 2016 on CD, 2xLP, and digital formats via Relapse Records. Physical packages and digital pre-orders are available HERE. Additionally, Ulceratehas announced a headlining North American Fall tour with Icelandic dissonance-mongers Zhrine and Montreal death metal quartet Phobocosm. The trek embarks out of Los Angeles on November 2nd and consumes the rest of the month, the final show taking place November 29th in Brooklyn, New York. Ulcerate will also be performing two exclusive dates in New Zealand at the end of October preceding the North American tour. Ulcerate Tour Dates:
