Alaska's 36 Crazyfists will release their deeply personal new album Lanterns on September 29 through Spinefarm Records. It is their second release for the label and the follow up to 2014's Time and Trauma.
Music often functions as that proverbial light at the end of the tunnel and provides shelter during any storm and calm in the middle of tumult. 36 Crazyfists understand this phenomenon first-hand. In fact, the Anchorage quartet—Brock Lindow [vocals], Steve Holt [guitar], Mick Whitney [bass], and Kyle Baltus [drums]—find catharsis within chaos on their aptly titled seventh full-length.
The band has shared the first track from the record in the form of "Death Eater." Listen to the song here.
About releasing "Death Eater" into the wild, Lindow said, "It's a reflection of self and the dwellings of rock bottom, discovering the tools to dig yourself out, and refusing to let yourself free fall into the abyss of hopelessness. Love, forgive, and never give in. In fact, Lanterns is about the fight within us all... forever refusing to sink."
Toilet ov Hell premiered a scintillating track of Israeli black metal band Arallu AT THIS LINK. Ethnic instruments such as Saz and Darbuka have been employed to a great effect.

TOILET OV HELL PREMIERE
Arallu from Israel are imbibing their Middle-Eastern influences and channelling the same using the black metal template that they've been trying to perfect for over two decades. Not unlike their label mates in Rudra, they're forging a unique sound replete with traditional instruments like Saz and Darbuka, and exhibiting a penchant for the thrashy variant of the style. Faster, tighter and more potent than ever before, 'Six' bears the insignia of the band's progress over the years and their culmination in a release that might change their fortunes finally.

Swedish Melodic Death / Thrash squad Mordenial is all set to release their sophomore full length "The Plague" on 31st July via Black Lion Records. The best way to describe the music is when crunchy groovy elements bump into some exquisite melody driven death metal music.
No Clean Singing is exclusively streaming the album, earlier before the actual release date.
"The music is also immensely powerful in its sound, and immensely punishing in its impact, and those grim melodies prove to be as infectious as the contagions that have inspired the album."
"In 2014, we started to work with our second album "The Plague". We had some lyrics as well as fragments for the title track. The writing went slow for a while but at the beginning of 2015, we managed to put 10 songs together that we all were satisfied with.
The songs were recorded late 2015 after a lot of technical problems during the recording. We contacted Roberto Toderico who did the artwork for "Where The Angels Fall" and he did an awesome artwork that fits well with the concept of the album.
"The Plague" is basically 10 different songs that all deal with the concept "Plague", all from a futuristic perspective to a more ancient perspective. The lyrical aspects are also about how people justify terrible act by pretending to be chosen by god or gods.
The album is a mixture of different types of metal. We are not bound to boundaries when we create songs for Mordenial. Our definition of the "The Plague" is a heavy album with a lot of variation. We are very satisfied with the outcome of the songs and hopefully you will like it to."

Kjetil Lynghaug — Lead Guitar
Martin — Guitar, Bass

We also want to take the opportunity to thank Giorgio Ferrante for the great days we spent together. It was awesome to share the stage with him. Stay tuned for more shows and tour announcements!"
Just recently Theatres Des Vampires released the video for their new single ‘Resurrection Mary’ taken from the band’s latest album ‘Candyland’ (out on Scarlet Records). The video is directed by Patrizia Cogliati Musicphoto (www.musichphoto.it). Watch “Resurrection Mary” here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiDVWbGQCR0
Theatres Des Vampires is an Italian Gothic Metal band with strong symphonic influences, formed in 1994 and renowned for the predominant theme of vampirism in their lyrics. ‘Candyland’ has been inspired by a room of the infamous Pennhurst asylum in Pennsylvania, a room which was different from all the others, with coloured walls and bars on the windows, described as hell on earth by the patients of the facility, where adults and children with severe mental problems have been hidden from the public eye for decades. ‘Candyland’ was the name of that room. Obsession and madness characterizes Theatres Des Vampires’ latest work, their sound is forceful and sensual at the same time, pervaded with those wistful and melancholic bursts which the band is renowned for. “Candyland” sees a very special guest appearance by legendary Moonspell frontman Fernando Ribeiro on the song ‘Seventh Room’.

Light The Torch is a burgeoning new force within the hard rock/metal community who just inked a new world-wide deal with Nuclear Blast Entertainment. The group, formerly known as Devil You Know, features the iconic Howard Jones (ex-Killswitch Engage) on vocals, Francesco Artusato (ex-All Shall Perish) on guitars and Ryan Wombacher (ex-Bleeding Through) on bass. The new full-length album is currently in the mixing stages and showcases the band in an all new light, as Jones delivers the most poignant performance of his storied career. With no more song-writing restrictions, the band are reaching greater heights trying out a plethora of new ideas, which you will all hear in the coming months.
Light The Torch will absolutely continue to perform Devil You Know songs and as the band state below, the only way the group could legally continue to perform as band would be under this course of action.
Light The Torchstates: “After member issues and legalities continued for a year with no end in sight, we collectively felt it was time to put DYK to rest. Every effort was made to avoid this decision, but it needed/had to be done for the sake of moving forward. We will be forever grateful to those of you who shared that journey with us. With that said, we decided that this was a perfect time to write and record something truly different, something that reflected what we have been through and what we have become. Our new album is almost done being mixed, and there will be many more details coming in the following days and weeks. We are Light The Torch. See you soon."

Dani’s crew have meticulously pieced together a second blood-spattered batch of deranged anthems that brings vastly more colour, intensity and lyrical versatility to the band’s spectral palate. The second Devilment record makes no splintered bones about its nefarious intent, offering a bewildering torrent of disparate and demented ideas and delivering them with refined, ultra-gothic panache and several jolting doses of Dani’s trademark verbal subterfuge. Assisted by long-time collaborators Lauren Francis (keys and vocals), Colin Parks (guitar), Nick Johnson (bass) and new drummer Matt Alston, Dani has arrived at the telling moment where Devilment become a genuine force to be reckoned with.
