The writing for Beheaded's new album, successor to 2017's "Beast Incarnate", is close to completion and the band will be entering Mk2 Recording Studio in December. At a later stage, mixing and mastering of the album will be handled once again by the capable hands of Ronnie Björnström at Enhanced Audio Productions. This will be Beheaded's debut first release on Agonia Records and is scheduled for a worldwide release mid 2019, followed by an extensive European tour (including a number of major festivals), which is currently being booked by the band's management, The Flaming Arts Agency.
The band's vocalist, Frank Calleja, says:-
''We have recorded demos for 8/9 songs which we have shortlisted for this album, which stylistically will follow in the footsteps of Beast Incarnate. We have had no line-up changes since 2015; that means we were able to allow ourselves to focus more on the song writing as a unit, bringing in a stronger contribution from the newer members".
The new album's title is already decided upon and will be announced at a later stage whilst the artwork will be taken care of for the first time by Daemorph Art. The new band photo was taken by d.catania Photography.
Beheaded, Malta's biggest metal export, rolled into life in 1991. Drawing inspiration from death metal hailing from Europe and the US at that time, and diving head on in the tape trading, zine and snail mail networks, Beheaded constructed its demo "Souldead" in 1995. With its strong statement and character, both European and worldwide record deals preceded the final cementation of the band as a placeholder in the extreme music scene. With six official releases under its belt, respect was gained through the energetic live set tying its relentlessness to its pure death metal inner sanctum. Several tours and festivals in Europe, US and Asia have channelled this thick skinned aural punishment to crowds all over, bringing more and more devoted followers. Years ahead have taken the tinge of freshened vigour and BEHEADED is ready to deliver death metal of the highest calibre.

Malta's long-running death metallers Beheaded, by far the island’s biggest metal export, have signed a record deal with Agonia Records. The band is currently gearing up to perform as a co-headliner at this year's Metalgate Czech Death Fest in Czech Republic, on the 16th of June.
On signing with Agonia, Beheaded's vocalist Frank Calleja commented:-
"The unholy alliance between Beheaded and Agonia Records has begun for us to carry forward the legacy of the beast and let the horror breathe. DEATH IS COMING".

Following their stellar turn at the Rock The Rock Festival in 2017, Maltese metallers Decline The Fall return with their new video for the track “Composing Madness”! Taken from the band’s upcoming, untitled album, quintet have stated they intend for the record to be out before the end of 2018.
Frontman John Castiel had this to say on the track:
“It's about dreaming of who you want to be in a world you struggle to identify with, struggling to survive, and how mitigating circumstances can wreak havoc with an individual’s mental health. In this video, we wanted to tackle the topic of depression; how it can have a terrible impact, and the depths in which it can plunge a person.”
On the topic of the album, Castiel had this to say:
“It’s a dark record, I can tell you that much already. We’re still in the early stages musically, but I really want to tackle the darker aspects life. We view this as a vital record for Decline The Fall, as we’ve made some serious headway in the last year, playing alongside some huge bands from around the world. We feel eyes are on us, and we want to deliver.”
DTF, completed by Drummer, Ehren 'Bunny' Fenech, Guitarists Matthew Mercieca & Kris Farrugia, and Bassist Fabio Negro, formed in 2015 and have since busied themselves in their homeland, as well as across parts of Southern Europe, including Italy and Romania. In 2017, the band shared the stage with such luminaries as Mayhem, Rotting Christ and Lacuna Coil. Beast Incarnate, the impending new long player from Malta-based brutal death metal merchants Beheaded, will see release tomorrow via Unique Leader. In advance of its release today No Clean Singing is streaming the infernal, eight-track offering in full noting:-
"the obliterating effects of Beast Incarnate will be the big draw for most fans. It's the kind of music that fuels metaphorical rhetoric: Most of the time it's a rocket ride through a mechanized slaughterhouse, in an active war zone, during an earthquake. This is what Beheaded do. And they do it very well, with dedication, veteran skill, and self-assurance. If you enjoy death metal that rushes at your head with megawatt energy, dizzying percussive pummelling, dark pulsating melodies, and an insatiable blood lust, this is your fix."

Beast Incarnate will be released on January 27th, 2017 via Unique Leader Records. Pre-order options are currently available HERE.

Beast Incarnate is the impending new long player from Malta-based brutal death metal merchants Beheaded.
Set for release next month via Unique Leader, the infernal, eight-track production draws upon the brutal and melodic approach to the band's 2012-issued, critically-championed Never To Dawn long player. Recorded at MKII Recording Studio (Italy) and mixed and mastered by Ronnie Björnström (Teadeat, Bone Gnawer, Aeon, Those Who Bring The Torture etc.) at Enhanced Audio Productions Sweden, Beast Incarnate comes shrouded in the cover art of Gabriel Alegria Sabogal, welcomes the addition of new recruits -- drummer Davide Billia and guitarist Simone Brigo - and truly stretches the boundaries of Beheaded's signature sound to meet new extremes.
As a precursor to its release, Decibel Magazine is hosting Beheaded's visual companion to the record's title track, the band issuing of the clip:-
"When music is enriched with literature, imagery, colors, and visuals that reflect its essence, it is able to deliver a deeper, more profound immersive visual and aural experience. That is precisely what the video for the album title track 'Beast Incarnate' does. Using all these elements we have worked very closely with Very Metal Art in graphically creating and capturing the character and lifeblood of Beast Incarnate. The music video comes to outline the attributes of Mediterranean death metal - hard hitting and drilling in the psyche. Musically drawing upon the very roots of the band's earliest material and molded from a quarter of a century since Beheaded's inception. Beast Incarnate cements twenty-five years of extreme music with an imprint of the band's present signature sound."

Malta-based brutal death metal horde Beheaded will release their long-anticipated fifth full-length next year via Unique Leader Records. Entitled Beast Incarnate, the infernal, eight-track production draws upon the brutal and melodic approach to 2012's critically-championed Never To Dawn offering. Welcoming drummer Davide Billia and guitarist Simone Brigo to the fold, the album seethes with the band's self-proclaimed Mediterranean brand of brutality belting out caustic vocals, punishing riff and crushing drum sequences. Recorded at MKII Recording Studio in Italy and mixed and mastered by Ronnie Björnström (Teadeat, Bone Gnawer, Aeon, Those Who Bring The Torture etc.) at Enhanced Audio Productions in Sweden, Beast Incarnate comes shrouded in the cover art of Gabriel Alegria Sabogal stretches the boundaries of Beheaded's signature sound to meet new extremes.
Comments the band:
"The driving force behind Beast Incarnate was to create a milestone for Mediterranean death metal by cementing and defining the essence of Beheaded's signature sound drawing inspiration from the different facets of the band's twenty-five years of existence and pushing boundaries to take it to new extremes. Beast Incarnate can be considered the pinnacle of the band's history, echoing the eerie old school melodies and blasphemous poetry of the 1998 album Perpetual Mockery infused with technical elements of the 2005 Ominous Bloodline making this album an indisputable successor to Never To Dawn. The Horror breathes and The Beast is among us."
Beheaded's Beast Incarnate will be released on January 27th, 2017 via Unique Leader Records with pre-order options to be announced in the weeks to come. In the meantime check out second cut, "The Horror Breathes" at the label's official Bandcamp page HERE.
