Albania's Crossbones - who entered the Alpha Omega Studios in late 2018 to record their new album - have revealed the first details of the upcoming effort: the title "The Awakening" and the artwork! The album is set to be released still before Summer on Alpha Omega Records. More details will be unveiled soon.
Crossbones is the most recognized metal act in Albania and the only band from the mid 90’s that still keeps going, today stronger than ever. Their new album “WWIII” is making quite a buzz since its launch in January 13th 2017. The news has spread throughout 3 continents, Europe, USA and Australia in about 100 webzines and portals with great reviews. The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Tommy Talamanca (Sadist) at Nadir Music Studios. “WWIII” combines American thrash metal influences with a dark sound and typical Est European sonorities.
The result is an album created with the intention of hit hard the ears of the listener without losing melodic passages and “catchy” riffs, and where the recurring use of both English and Albanian languages marks a new way in the European post-thrash genre. Among countless gigs and performances, Crossbones have played with Rock and Metal giants such as Ian Paice, legendary drummer of Deep Purple and as a direct support act for Greek Black Metal legends of Rotting Christ. Furthermore the band has headlined many concerts and festivals in Italy, Greece, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, toured in Baltics (Estonia and Latvia), Ukraine and headlined Balkan Metal Meeting 4 Tuzla/Bosnia, April 27-28 2018, and more.
Eternal Breath was founded in 1996 by Andy & Marino in Wielsbeke, Belgium with an aim to combine traditional and new styles of metal in one sound. During that initial time, 3 demo albums were made and after many line-up changes, a consistent line-up took form in 2015. The year after that, the bands first full cd, The Joker, was released. It featured a change in sound from the earlier demo albums, bringing a new mix of epic heavy metal and modern fast thrash metal, inspired by the likes of Judas Priest and Exodus. The album was praised for its melodic vibes, powerful vocals and philosophical lyrics. To mark the album, a release of the aptly named beer “The Joker” (8,5%, wheat beer with coriander flavouring) soon followed.
Aside from numerous shows in Belgium, the album helped bring Eternal Breath to the UK for several festivals & gigs and had the band join The Three Tremors as a support for their European tour featuring Tim “Ripper” Owens (Judas Priest, Iced Earth, etc).
2019 will see the release (via Sliptrick Records) of Eternal Breath’s second full-length album, World Of Chaos, and will contain a total of 11 brand new songs! The album was recorded in Shellshock Studio (Knokke, Belgium) & mastered by Attie Bauw who took care of the mastering of albums such as Painkiller from Judas Priest.
Eternal Breath are:

Regrettably, Ozzy Osbourne has postponed all of his 2019 tour dates as he recovers from an injury sustained while dealing with a recent bout of pneumonia. Osbourne fell at his Los Angeles home, aggravating years-old injuries (from his 2003 ATV accident) that required surgery last month. Due to the postponement of Ozzy’s tour, Ozzy Osbourne will no longer be performing at this year’s Rocklahoma. Details about the festival’s Saturday, May 25th line-up will be announced as soon as they are finalized.
Ozzy Osbourne released the following statement earlier this morning:-
“I can’t believe I have to reschedule more tour dates. Words cannot express how frustrated, angry and depressed I am not to be able to tour right now. I’m grateful for the love and support I’m getting from my family, my band, friends and fans, it’s really what’s keeping me going. Just know that I am getting better every day…I will fully recover…I will finish my tour…I will be back!”
Mike DuCharme, Festival Producer and Talent Buyer for Rocklahoma says:-
“While there is no replacement for Ozzy yet, we are working diligently to find a new headliner and will update our fans as soon as we can. We wish Ozzy a speedy recovery, and hope to see him on the Rocklahoma stage in the future.”
Rocklahoma will take place May 24-May 26 at Pryor Creek Music Festival Grounds in Pryor, Oklahoma, just outside Tulsa. For more information on Rocklahoma, visit: https://rocklahoma.com

Dying Victims Productions announces April 23rd as the international release date for the highly anticipated fourth album of Slovenia's Vigilance, Enter the Endless Abyss.
Born from the cavernous depths of Adelsberg, Slovenia, Vigilance have been unleashing their own brand of heavy metal since Walpurgisnacht 2010. Inspired both by the harmonic arts of the original NWOBHM wave and the sepulchral elements of the first wave of black metal, Vigilance possess a unique crossover appeal to fans of early Iron Maiden and Mercyful Fate, but will also hook in anyone who's into Bathory, Venom, and everything else with a goat on the cover artwork.
Over the years, Vigilance released numerous demos, an EP, and three increasingly well-received albums, firmly fortifying their place in the European underground. No strangers on the live front, they've shared the stage with many bands such as Raven, Archgoat, and Grave Desecrator across the whole of Europe, frequently playing in Germany, Belgium, and Austria. Of the many gigs played, Vigilance have made appearances at such cult festivals as Heavy Sound Festival (Belgium), Raging Death Date (Germany), Old Grave Festival (Romania), a 10-day tour across Europe with Körgull the Exterminator and Wildhunt, and an appearance at the esteemed Party.San Open Air festival in 2017.
With all that experience under the bulletbelts, Vigilance are poised to make their grandest strike yet with Enter the Endless Abyss. Aptly titled, Enter the Endless Abyss is indeed a dark and dynamic plunge into the beyond, but galloping gloriously with the eternal luminescence of HEAVY METAL might! Here, Vigilance make their boldest strides forward in songwriting, expertly working with light and shade to create immediately memorable and yet simultaneously mysterious anthems, epic yet judiciously compact sonic storytelling where head/fistbanging takes center stage and full ensemble playing colors each of those eight tales with finesse and fire. Throughout it all, the dual-guitar work dazzles - truly, intensely DAZZLES - and the lithe, contrapuntal rhythm section supports with equally important panache.
Or, simply put, Enter the Endless Abyss is the new, Now sound of blackened epic metal...either way, Vigilance have at last arrived as conquering kings! Hear the first march with a special promo video for the new track "Stormblade" HERE at Dying Victims' official YouTube channel.
Finnish heavy metal sextet Battle Beast will release their fifth studio album No More Hollywood Endings, in just three weeks, on March 22, 2019 via Nuclear Blast Records. Today the band is unleashing another new track in the form of the tenacious and uplifting track 'Eden'. Watch the official music video for the second single, which was directed by Markus Nieminen and produced by Oy Routafilmi AB & Tuotantoyhtiö Legenda, here: youtu.be/_hzssKb9940
Guitarist Joona Björkroth states:-
"'Eden' was born about one year ago when I was going through an extremely bad period in my personal life. I wrote the song as a remembrance to myself that whatever life throws at you, there's light in the end. Many bad things people have in their lives are creations of their own mind and can be mended by letting go. The song is a sincere "f*** you!" to fear, pain... whatever it is that is holding you down!"
"Now remember what's inside, the warmth that made you smile, and rise up high, towards the golden sky, your Eden"

UK heavy metal act Forged in Black premiere a new video for "Seek No Evil" at Zero Tolerance magazine's website. The track hails from the band's highly anticipated second album, Descent of the Serpent, set for international release on March 5th via Fighter Records. See & hear Forged in Black's "Seek No Evil" video in its entirety exclusively HERE.
Forged in Black’s quest for metallic perfection began in 2013, and the band released their eponymous debut album that same year, swiftly followed by the EP The Tide and a single, "Exodus," which was produced by Romesh Dodangoda, famed for his work with Motörhead, Bring Me The Horizon, and Bullet For My Valentine. At this point in their career, the band struck up a great working relationship with legendary, much-missed producer Chris Tsangarides (Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy, Black Sabbath. etc). Chris and Forged in Black together created two excellent EPs, Fear Reflecting Fear and 2017's Sinner Sanctorum, both of which raised the band’s profile, gathered them great critical acclaim, and set them on the path towards Descent of the Serpent. After Chris’ sad passing at the beginning of 2018, Forged in Black sought once again the help of Romesh Dodangoda, and the producer stepped into the breach, guiding the band through the recording of what is undoubtedly their finest collection of songs to date: Descent of the Serpent.

Anthem will release their re-recorded greatest hits album 'Nucleus' on March 29th via Nuclear Blast. Pre-order here: http://nblast.de/AnthemNucleus
'Nucleus' will be available as 2CD and 2LP.
Recently, the band also announced their first ever European festival appearance. On April 26th-27th 2019, Anthem will play at the Keep It True festival in Germany!
Mixing and mastering of 'Nucleus' was done by established producer and engineer Jens Bogren, known for his work with a multitude of big-name artists. Jens' work is based on elaborate theories and an abundance of knowledge, which has helped guide the careers of many bands, Anthem's case is no exception. This album which features Jens' fat sound with rich low-end is more than up to par with the worldwide heavy metal standard.
A remarkable point worth noting about this release is that all of the songs except 'Venom Strike' were written after their reunion in 2001 – proving that Anthem have always has been a 'current band' that does not have to rely on their past.
This re-recorded greatest hits, which include a variety of their classics is a monumental effort, perfectly demonstrating the musical quality of Anthem and proving that they can be ranked as a top-notch band even in the international market.
Viuda Negra, one of the pioneering bands of Spanish heavy metal, has just released the first advance single of their first full-length, Al Final/In the End, an album recorded in Spanish and English, which will be released on 2-CD through Fighter Records on April 2nd. Hear that advance single, "Al Final/In the End," HERE at Fighter's official YouTube channel.
The current lineup of Viuda Negra, which includes the members of the legendary original formation - Javier Gómez (guitar), Xavi Gómez (drums), and José Tomás (bass), with the incorporation of the vocalist Damián Chicano Ruiz (Chicanos and Evil Hunter) - return to the fray after more than 30 years, to continue forging metal in the national and international music scene.
Al Final/In the End shows a sober musical style with a sound and their own, recognizable identifying stamp: striking guitars and solos, strong rhythms and melodies, with an impeccable vocal quality that hook you on the first listen.
The new album of Viuda Negra is a work full of great songs of heavy metal and hard rock, songs that made them mythical in the '80s within the national metal scene, and that now with this new recording and interpretation, with the current sound and arrangements, they make us enjoy a real metal feast. We are going to enjoy those guitar duels, the shuddering solos and endless trepidating rhythms that will not leave indifferent any lover of the genre.
Viuda Negra has returned with more strength than ever, and they are here to stay and rewrite their history.
International release date for Viuda Negra's Al Final/In the End will be April 2nd through Fighter Records on CD format, with the vinyl LP version following later on. In the meantime, hear the album's title track "Al Final/In the End" HERE at Fighter Records' official YouTube channel.
