On March 29th, Forever Still will unleash their sophomore full-length release 'Breathe In Colours' via Nuclear Blast. Inspired by a dystopian cyberpunk future and the fact that some of the biggest works in that genre, Blade Runner and Akira, are set in 2019, Denmark's high-fliers have adapted a dark musical concept for this record and take a look at the world being on the verge of ecological collapse, while humanity is fleeing into cyberspace to escape the horrors of the real world. After the epic 'Rew1nd', the band now unveils the second single of their upcoming album - their title track 'Breathe In Colours'. The song title and album name was inspired by a memory from Maja's past, as she explains:
"The album title was born from an experience, I had as a young teenager, where I started wearing all black and a friend of my mother’s suggested that I wear more colours. I told her that it’s just an aesthetic preference and she replied that it was okay “as long as I remembered to keep the colours on the inside”. At that time I thought, it was the stupidest thing, I’d ever heard, since wearing black clothes doesn’t automatically mean you’re sad inside. Despite thinking that, her words stuck with me and I was able to have it make sense in a new way much later in life. For this album it’s an affirmation that even though the world sometimes seems cold and grey, there is still colour and kindness to be found, but in order to see it, we first have to find the colours on the inside."

"Velvet Noise", the debut album for what was to become one of biggest metal exports from Denmark - Raunchy - will be reissued in vinyl for the first time. But it won't be a "regular" reissue. The record was remastered by Henrik West at Medley Studios (Copenhagen) and will be available in orange vinyl, gatefold edition, limited to 500 copies. The release date is April 12th, 2019.
"A completely convincing mixture of Fear Factory, Strapping Young Lad and Machine Head, Denmark's Raunchy are easily the country's best-kept secret and possibly one of the finest European “modern metal” bands I have heard in quite some time".
In 2001, as one can easily understand from Blabbermouth's Borivoj Krgin words, the world went crazy with Raunchy's debut album, "Velvet Noise".
The band comments:-
"We knew that we were something different to the Danish Metal scene back then. We had a much more alternative approach on how we wanted metal music and our music to sound so we knew that we might get “slaughtered” when the reviews would start to tick in. I mean just our brand name Raunchy has no “metal” feel/meaning to it, so that was definitely a thing we knew would be “uphill”.
Also the fact that we pretty much looked like a typical generic band from the Britpop “heydays” of Blur, Suede, Oasis, Radiohead, The Verve etc. was another obstacle - but we couldn’t care less".
Raunchy soon took off, signed a deal with Nuclear Blast and went touring the world. "Velvet Noise", however, was the beginning of it all and will remain as one of the most successful debut albums from a Danish band ever.
Denmark's Forever Still discuss the dystopian concept of 'Breathe In Colours' in first album trailer
After recently presenting the first single off their upcoming album 'Breathe In Colours', out on March 29th via Nuclear Blast, Denmark's high-flyers Forever Still unveil further details about their sophomore full-length release. In this new trailer - once again created by band with their long-established DIY ethic - frontwoman Maja Shining explains why the band developed the concept of a dystopian future for 'Breathe In Colours' and decided to focus the musical content on the problems of the modern world instead of writing songs with a very introspective point of view like they did on their predecessor 'Tied Down'.

The Interbeing have just dropped their first song since their 2nd album 'Among the Amorphous' was released in July 2017. The new single “Depressor” is an energetic and fierce industrial, pulsating “slap-in-the-face” that shows a new and more sinister face of The Interbeing.
The story about The Interbeing continues, front-singer Dara Corcoran explains:
“'Depressor' is the first song on our new venture. The song follows the main character from our two albums 'Edge of the Obscure' and 'Among the Amorphous'. After finding his true form at the end of 'Among the Amorphous', The Interbeing becomes the necessary Depressor.”

Originated in 2007 The Interbeing has from the beginning won several prizes in their native Denmark. Their debut album from 2011 was acclaimed “Album of the Year” by the biggest Danish music magazine, GAFFA. The album was re-released in Japan, and two tracks were used as a soundtrack in a Japanese game. The second chapter 'Among the Amorphous' from 2017 is an album that lifts the bar in regards of storytelling and songwriting in the world of Technical Metal.
The Interbeing has had the honour to be the main support for massive international names such as Stone Sour (US), Meshuggah (SE) and Parkway Drive (AU), and during the fall 2017 the band toured as main support for Twelve Foot Ninja (AU) through six European countries.

This video clip builds a bridge between their two previous productions, "III Faces" and "Ark Flesh",
connecting the stories and creating a new universe where music finds its reflection in the image, and where only we have the power to choose how we want it to end up. How does it work? It's simple: this video has two endings and we will be able to choose the option we want. Shot by Jordi Flames, the band's guitarist, and starring the group's own members, with the collaboration of Aitor Torres, a former member, this video clip is presented as a starting point for a new world that will redefine the creative limits of Flames At Sunrise.

“We’re always eager to release new music that we’ve been waiting so long to share with our fans, so days like today are always special to us. The title track is one of our favorite songs on the album so choosing it to release early was pretty easy. This is our 13th album, but every new piece of music we reveal still brings the same amount of excitement and surrealism that this is what we get to do. We can’t wait to experience these songs live together with you for the first time, but in the meantime, thanks for listening and we hope you enjoy.”
