Finnish modern metallers None Dare Call It Conspiracy have signed a distribution deal with Wormholedeath for their album "Pawns And Kings"!
The album will be released on 29 June 2018 via Wormholedeath / The Orchard in all digital stores worldwide.
"We are proud to finally be able to release the long coming second album Pawns and kings in collaboration with WormHoleDeath this year. The making of the album was a long journey stacked with countless step backs but like we have done in the past we overcame all of it and here we finally are with an album that we can stand behind and label that will drive us forward to a new level as a band. The future of None Dare Call It Conspiracy looks promising so stay tuned cause you’ll be hearing from us"
Founded in 2005 by Toni Toikkanen (bass) and Jani Elokoski (guitar), N.D.C.I.C. began practicing in the Vuosaari youth house and soon had a complete line up. William Torrey (vocals), Seppo Kallioinen (drums), and Juha-Matti Paussu (solo) stepped into their roles as original members, and many shows were played. The band quickly found themselves as an East- Helsinki favorite, and started to think beyond their current situation. It wasn't long until the band met and befriended drummer/producer Tonmi Lillman (Ajattara, kylähullut, sinergy, to/die/for,lordi)), and began working with him in the studio. Under his direction, they grew into their sound, taking the raw ingredients they already had and turning it into the fully grown style they have today. And when personal and musical differences led to the departure of Kallioinen, Lillman stepped into that slot as well.
Work on Tales of the Lost began in January 2009 in D-Studio, but quickly ran into trouble. Major financial issues reared their head, and the band found themselves partway through yet deeply in debt. Slowly, they raised the capital needed, and completed the album late in 2011. Everything seemed to be on track once more, when in February 2012 tragedy struck. Tonmi Lillman was found dead in his apartment in Helsinki , and the band took his loss hard. It was several months before they even considered who might step into the very large shoes left by Tonmi, but one thing was sure: his final album WOULD be released. 2012 saw a renewed energy fill the band, as Tuomas Mäkelä was brought in on drums. Almost everything seemed to be moving ahead well, but personal issues were intruding on things once again.
When it became clear that these issues were not solvable, the band regretfully parted ways with Juha-Matti Paussu, and Johannes Oravainen stepped in on lead guitar. Following the release of 2013s Tales of the Lost NDCIC forged ahead once more, performing shows across finland while beginning to write new material for the inevitable follow up album. During this writing process it became appearant that the band had once again begun to grow stylistically, leaving behind much of the symphonic backround present in TotL and embracing a more agressive sound. Tuomas was replaced by Petri Jokisalo and the writing process continued, riff by riff and line by line. The band began recording what would become Pawns and Kings in early 2015.
The new style had been refined and polished and all was going well. But Petri was slowly coming to the realisation that he was not interested anymore. That summer he decided to leave to focus on another project and Ville Holmström replaced him on drums. In 2018, talks began with record label Wormhole Death for the release of the new album. A deal was signed, and it was agreed that summer of that year would mark the bands first official release. Since then we have been training, polishing, preparing. Pawns and Kings is ready for release, and we are ready to release it. Are you ready?

SynlakrosS have just published their 'Just One Shot' live video, the song comes from the latest album 'Death Bullets For A Forajido' (2016) with which the band has achieved national and international recognition and have shared the stage with bands such as The Agonist and Jinjer.
Watch the video here:- https://youtu.be/e_hKmdZuSoc
This song was inspired by the amazing American sharpshooter and exhibition shooter Annie Oakley. Through her image, Annie Oakley provided substantial evidence in those days that women are as capable as men when offered the opportunity to prove themselves. The band always dedicate this song to the powerful women in the audience.
In the video you can see the overwhelming energy of the band captained by their powerful frontwoman Patricia Pons and her characteristic neon green mane. With this video they close the 'Wild West' era that had inspired their second album and they enter into darker lands for their next album, which is being recorded and mixed at Novo Estudios in Valencia, Spain, by the producer Facundo Novo.
This year, they are the headliners of the Granito Rock festival together with the German band Primal Fear. Don't miss the opportunity, and don't miss their devastating next live show July 28th. The event will be held in Collado-Villalba, Spain and it's free.

Flames At Sunrise is a metal band from Barcelona born in 2011 with the will to bring their personal vision of music, based in the influence of different modern metal styles and creating a new message from the sound experimentation. After 3 years on the stage, they released their first EP called “Never Coming Home”. This EP contains 4 songs: “Never Coming Home”, “Take It Down” and “Bitch” (with a videoclip for each one), and “Grievance”. Since the release, they have defended their EP, winning some competitions like “Nous Talents” in 2014 (with jury members like Carles Benavent, the well known bassist of Paco de Lucía, and the guitarist from Pegasus, Max Sunyé) and “Barracas De Tarragona“. Meanwhile, they were composing their full length album "Born In Embers".
Another one of this good news is that Guitar Flash, a mobile and PC game developer with more than 2m of followers, has chosen Flames At Sunrise to be part of their APP.
Irish Modern Metal act Words That Burn are proud to unleash their new single and official video "When We're Forgotten". "When We're Forgotten" single has been produced by Josh Robinson in JSR Studios, Belfast and mastered by Alan Douches in West West Side Studios, New York.
The band stated:
"WTB are super excited to share our video for When We’re Forgotten with you. It is our first time working with Carl Quinn and the rest of the guys in Empty Horoscope Media. He is by far one of the most professional, dedicated and easy to work with people we have dealt with. Even though this was his baby he kept us in the loop throughout the entire process. From initial concept, we knew that this video a big task - The production was huge, there was a lot of people involved, multiple locations, pyro & special effects - so we are absolutely stoked with the end result.
This song is a snap shot of the new direction that we are taking as a band so we wanted to come out guns blazing. We wanted something visually striking to compliment the song. I think we got that!"

Lord Of The Lost are a multi-talented, modern metal band whose music presents itself far beyond genre stereotypes: a solid metal base featuring industrial parts or other dark rock elements – nothing is impossible. This band takes a flying leap beyond genre parameters – better than ever! Their previous releases topped the German album charts already, while the upcoming release 'Thornstar' will in no way be inferior to past efforts. This, their sixth studio album, reveals even more sonic facets of the band, all the while remaining hard and forceful.
The deep and emotional concept behind the album follows the story of a doomed high civilization - 'Thornstar' is a record unique in both sound and concept.
Singer Chris Harms on this concept:
“From the beginning it has been a big vision we had with Thornstar – the concept demands a lot of responsibility. And the final result overtook us completely.”
With the new album from Greek metalists Alphastate, The Grind, the band wanted to take a more modern and aggressive approach musically. They deliver this with very loud and distinctive guitars, a more modern production with the vocals pushed upfront and drums that punch through the sound. In the lyrics, they have included more personal thoughts and experiences so that The Grind will be the groups most personnel release and sonically their best so far. Alphastate have made an album of pure aggression along with the best songs they have ever written.
Alphastate started in 2013 as a personal project from Pete Breaker (Guitars). In 2014, Manos Xanthakis (Vocals) came in and in 2015, the band’s line up was complete with Dimitris Tsounakas (Bass) and Fivos Andriopoulos (Drums). The band wanted to combine modern metal with 80’s and 90’s influences such us Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Pantera, Nevermore, etc, to create a very personal and extreme style with no boundaries. Out Of The Black, the groups first album, was released in 2015 and garnered excellent and positive press globally. After playing numerous live shows in Greece from 2015 until now, Alphastate continue to evolve with their second album The Grind, which is ready to be released in 2018 worldwide via Sliptrick Records.

After more than a decade honing its craft, Russia's Tantal soared to new heights with the release last September of Ruin, an album of dynamic compositions, stylistically located at the junction of Dark, Progressive, Gothic, and Modern Metal. Featuring penetrating melodies, punctuated with the powerful vocals of front woman Sofia Raykova, and expressive guitar work in the tradition of Dream Theater and Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Ruin is the ultimate representation of the Tantal sound.
Tantal released several videos in support of Ruin, all of which can be experienced below.
Ruin is available at the following locations:
Formed in Moscow in 2005, Tantal is an eclectic metal band, whose music covers a wide range of the Metal and Rock genres in creating a style all its own: Modern, Progressive, Death, Gothic and Alternative Metal, to name some of the more obvious ones. The undeniable spark that sets all aglow comes in the form of Sofia Raykova's vocals, which range from powerful clean singing to screaming and growling.
The members of Tantal boast an impressive pedigree. Dmitry Ignatiev is guitarist of Everlost and Flash Of Aggression (alongside Andrey Smirnov from German legends U.D.O. & Dirkschneider). Ignatiev is also a guitarist in grand symphony project Metallica Show (tribute to S&M album). Singer Sofia Raykova also participates in famous Russian Power-Metal band Epidemia together with Maria Archipova from Arkona.
Tantal tours regularly in major cities of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine and shared the stage with such bands as Lacuna Coil, Resistance, Sadist, Anata.
Guitarist Dmitry Ignatiev is officially endorsed by ESP Guitars (Japan/USA) and AMT Electronics (Siberia (RU)/Europe).
Hungary-based electronic/modern metal band divideD have just unleashed a new EP titled “A Hundred Times”. The 6-song digital release includes reworked and live versions of the title song, taken from their debut album Modulus released last November. All songs are available for streaming on YouTube, and can be purchased on all popular online platforms as of 22 March. Four of the songs were accompanied by video clips and can be viewed below.
The mentioned first full-length album also won the award for “best debut album” in their home country.
► divideD - A Hundred Times EP
► The remixes as described by the band:
Lounge jazz remix:
"Sometimes a falling out that leads to breaches in friendship can also unleash creative energies in the band, and this version is a shining example of that. We’ve felt for a long time that A Hundred Times has the potential to work in a completely new approach with a different instrumentation. So when the aforementioned problems prevented us from testing some of the new gear in our home studio, all we’ve left is an acoustic guitar and the mood of American pubs of the ‘50’s - ‘60’s. To crown the performance and deliver a more authentic feeling and scent of cigar smoke and Tennessee whisky, we’ve invited our friend András Schubert to enrich the song with Saxophone."
Campfire / unplugged:
"We’ve always wanted to make a puritan, acoustic guitar-only version of this song, but we’ve always had something more important to do. The ‘Lounge remix’ already introduced the utilization of acoustic guitars, so now re-arranging the vocals is all we had to do to create a version that makes you remember on cold winter days what it’s like to sit beside a campfire on summer nights for a few minutes."
"Belmont and PsyKlone are huge Cadillacs & Dinosaurs fans for at least twenty years, and the whole theme/design of the Modulus album was based on Konami’s classic arcade games, so it was almost mandatory to create a version fitting for the pixel-graphic artwork of the booklet. Belmont approached TomboFry, who’s known for his 8-bit YouTube videos, to make an 8-bit version of the song. He even programmed an additional solo to it. To see a Cadillac with a divideD logo in a post-apocalyptic world ruled by dinosaurs is a dream came true."
"The 2015 version of the song, as it was released originally on our first material. Different sound and mixing than the album version."
"Live recording of the song as it was performed on Stagediving Festival earlier this year. The whole show was recorded with multiple cameras in good quality, and will be released at a later date. This first song is a token to those who attended the event, and a taste of the band’s live performance for those who have never seen us live."

The new album from Moldovan group Francis is entitled A Million Years Of Loneliness and highlights many urgent and serious problems of our time; personal, social, political and global, with acute social issues coming to the forefront. The themes of the eternal struggle for the right to “live in the sun”, for the right to be the first, for the right to reach the most difficult and daring dreams don’t leave the listener throughout the entire track list.
On a musical side, the material is a mixture of extreme metal and a more melodic direction of modern metal music, as well as interspersed with symphonic and electronic arrangements. The melodic sound came from the influence of bands working in completely different genres: As I Lay Dying, Arch Enemy, Nightwish, etc. Aggressive couplets and breakdowns with melodic choruses are created in the style of Metalcore/Melodic Death and coexist with thrash, death and modern-metal elements. The vocal parts are represented by a combination of extreme vocals with a clean voice, which expanded the creative space for the music’s authors and gave the tracks a striking motif matched by a clear, bright voice. Thus, the recording involved two vocalists.
The composition of the texts on A Million Years Of Loneliness involved the whole group agreeing on different opinions in a single concept for each individual song. The special uniqueness of the texts of the album consist of describing the atmosphere of the problems of each topic. Francis offer the listener not only a specific social, philosophical or personal problem, as food for thought, but also an interpretation of their own emotional feelings of a certain situation, thereby motivating the listener to intuitively comprehend the composition.
Guitar parts were recorded in home studios. Mixing and mastering services, as well as aid in the arrangements, was provided by the studio MoonHome after a long search for the optimal sound of all instruments.
