HerezA formed in July 2014. Their debut album, Misanthrope, was released in February 2015 by PRC Music. Their new album I Become Death, which is set for release in February 2017, will continue and improve the “chunky, HM-2 overdriven, and loud” (Angry Metal Guy review) sound of Misanthrope. I Become Death was recorded in "Brvnara" homemade studio by Denis Sloboda. It was mixed and mastered by Mario Markovic, Crna Zemlja Recording Studio. The stunning album artwork was done by Maciej Kamuda.

Chilean black metallers Praecognitvm are streaming the entirety of their debut demo, Inalienable Catharsis, at Decibel magazine's website. on cassette tape. Set for international release today on cassette tape via Iron Bonehead Productions, stream Praecognitvm's Inalienable Catharsis in its entirety exclusively HERE.
Self-released digitally last year, Inalienable Catharsis so impressed Iron Bonehead with its stout 'n' surging night-sky majesty that the label simply had to release it worldwide on physical tape format. Although Praecognitvm hail from the violent black/death hotbed of Chile, theirs is a sound rooted in classic black metal mysticism, emitting boundless atmosphere whilst remaining tangibly physical, albeit in a more spectral manner. And at four songs in 27 minutes, Inalienable Catharsis is structured in such a manner to weave its magic subtly and patiently, taking deeper root as the record plays on. Indeed, between the band's songwriting and the robust recording they receive here, Inalienable Catharsis is a true record and not merely a "demo" - and it's only the beginning for the duo. Irish black metal upstarts Naddred are streaming the entirety of their debut demo, Sluagh, at Decibel magazine's website. Set for international release on February 13th via Invictus Productions, stream Naddred's Sluagh in its entirety exclusively HERE.
A brand-new entity featuring members of Slidhr and Eternal Helcaraxe and former members of Sol Axis, Naddred are truly a summation of their combined experience in the black metal trenches. Across the four tracks comprising Sluagh, the quartet whip forth a fury of gnarly-yet-nuanced black metal, ably balancing beyond-the-shade atmosphere with palpably physical force. As an opening statement, it bespeaks an already firm confidence as well as underlining the still-growing power of Irish black metal: the torch has been lit with Sluagh, and Naddred are carrying it. Witness all the sparks exclusively HERE, courtesy of Decibel, North America's only monthly metal magazine.
Hot off the heels of their critically acclaimed debut demo, Englaryk, Iceland's Endalok strike again - and quickly - with their debut mini-album, Úr Draumheimi Viðurstyggðar, set for international release on January 20th via Signal Rex. And today, heavily trafficked web-portal InvisibleOranges.com streams the mini-album in its entirety exclusively HERE.
While they still may bear some of the same immersive traits as their established countrymen, Endalok here present a bold assertion of their own, unique identity. Across its 24-minute runtime, the five tracks that comprise Úr Draumheimi Viðurstyggðar explode with a weirder, wilder, and more winding distillation of everything that made Englaryk so immediately engrossing - and entrancing. Within its soundworld, Endalok dwell within a ritualistic sort of womb that hauntingly gestates, pulsing with a distant-yet-overwhelming cadence that subtly shape-shifts. It's a similarly shadowy dance as Englaryk - that sense of slow-motion vertigo, as different beyond-the-shade textures come into focus, only to wither away again - but given grim, hideous purpose as the band's confidence in their vision grows. Still young, Endalok are weaving sorcery like masters on Úr Draumheimi Viðurstyggðar. As a bonus on the vinyl edition, the B-side will feature the entire Englaryk demo.
In the meantime, stream all of Úr Draumheimi Viðurstyggðar exclusively HERE, courtesy of InvisibleOranges.com.
