Sri Lanka's Plecto Aliquem Capite have announced plans for the release of their very first DVD. Titled "Third World Psychosis", it is set to be released on June 2017.
The DVD will feature two music videos for the singles "Parasomnia" and "Hypersomnia", which were shot and edited by Sidath Samarasinghe. The band will also include a bonus disc with material from their latest EP "The End" (2016) and two cover tracks.

On Friday 24th March, the official pre-sale for the concert film "Rammstein: Paris" began ahead of its worldwide release on May 19. The film, which will be released in many configurations, sets new standards. In March 2012, during the "Made in Germany" tour, Swedish director Jonas Åkerlund shot two acclaimed Rammstein concerts at the Palais Omnisports arena in Paris in front of 17,000 spectators. Featuring 22 songs from the band’s entire repertoire, the resulting film is not only the most spectacular collection of imagery about the most successful German rock band of our time, but also a masterpiece of music cinema, capturing Rammstein's energy as a unique visual and sonic experience.
Åkerlund is notorious for his radical, pioneering video clips for bands such as The Prodigy, Metallica, the Rolling Stones and also Rammstein. Absurd details, upended perspectives, shocks of contrast and sensory confusion flicker through his music productions, and in "Rammstein: Paris", he celebrates this from the very first minute. Rammstein play 22 songs (128 mins), ranging from "Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen?", the first song from the very first album, to "Frühling in Paris" from the last studio album "Liebe ist für alle da".
Artistically and dramaturgically ingeniously staged, like an overwhelming video clip, "Rammstein: Paris" is one of the best rock concert films of all time. “Absolument“

Norwegian symphonic black metal giants, Dimmu Borgir, finally emerge from the depths of darkness to mark 2017 as the year of their monumental return.
On April 14th they will finally release their highly anticipated double DVD ‘Forces Of The Northern Night’, which will contain two of the band's live rituals: their legendary show in Oslo, presenting Dimmu Borgir on stage with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra and a bombastic choir, as well as their entire performance at Wacken Open Air 2012 with almost 100 musicians on stage. Both concerts present a spectacular sound scenario of raging black metal in front of an epic orchestral landscape plus the band's unique visuals.
Their remarkable and atramentous stage show has long seemed like a natural evolution for fans, but much time, arrangements and commitment were necessary to put this gigantic production into reality and fill the stage with 90 minutes of mind blowing aural delight per night. The shows guide the fans through classics from the band's discography - from the majestic finisher 'Mourning Palace' to the stomping manifesto 'Puritania' and the haunting 'Gateways'... Norway's Dimmu Borgir know how to leave nothing behind but pure ashes.
"For us, this is the pinnacle of our career so far. As a band, we've always used a lot of symphonic elements in our music. But we haven't been able to use a real orchestra. We've had to use samples, synthesisers and so on, so this was a huge, awesome experience for us!", states front man Shagrath.
On April 14th, both concerts plus a bonus documentary feature will be available in many different formats – further details to be revealed soon.

After touring for a year and a half throughout almost every corner of the world and leaving fans of all nationalities breathless, the time has come for Nightwish to immortalise their ‘Endless Forms Most Beautiful’ tour on DVD. Therefore, the symphonic metal visionaries are set to release their new live milestone ‘Vehicle Of Spirit’ on November 4th, featuring not only two full concerts, but also plenty of bonus material.
"The title ‘Vehicle Of Spirit’ came from a friend of Troy's, who after seeing our show a few years ago defined Nightwish as 'A vehicle of spirit that defies category'. That beautiful description has followed us ever since, and felt like a perfect match as the DVD title," states keyboardist and songwriter Tuomas Holopainen.
Sold out arenas and spectacular shows with never before seen pyro effects, wind machines, video screens and of course Nightwish's incomparable melodies are the elements that made their latest tour so unique. Special highlights for the band have been two particular shows though:
The one in London, where they not only played their hymns such as 'Élan' and the majestic 'The Greatest Show On Earth' to more than 12,000 fans, but also welcomed the world famous scientist Richard Dawkins live on stage with them. Richard Dawkins´ works had a massive impact on the thematical orientation of their latest studio album ‘Endless Forms Most Beautiful’. Finland's Tampere show however was a home run for the band and NIGHTWISH had never before had such an immense stage production with them.
"I would say the main part of the DVD are those two shows, both Wembley and Tampere. Wembley is mentioned first due to its recognisability and legendary status. I remember the show being very special, both a goal achieved, and a starting point. The crowd was heart-warming. The presence of Richard Dawkins on stage was just mind-blowing. The overall experience was a once-in-a-lifetime thrill ride! The show in Ratina Stadion, Tampere, was a home crowd speciality (for 4/6th of the band) with the biggest stage production we've ever had. A lovely atmosphere throughout the concert, with many same faces in the front row as there were 15 years ago. Heartfelt."
When it comes to the fine artwork of the DVD, Nightwish decided to walk a different path this time and come up with a little alternative idea, as Tuomas explains:
"We didn't want to include a traditional band shot for the cover, as on the previous DVD release ‘Showtime, Storytime’. So we started brainstorming on different options and the idea of a classic silent movie era Hollywood visuals quickly came up. With those classic slogans the cover has a little tongue-in-cheek-touch to it, but it's still classy and eye catching in its simplicity and originality."
They break the rules, reinvent themselves with every album and are considered to be Gothenburg's brightest metal pearl - since the early 90's, In Flames have delivered a spectacular progression which has seen them transform their sound from classic melodic death metal to their current modern and unique style. The Swedes never cease to challenge their artistic boundaries, and on September 23rd, the band will be releasing an impressive demonstration of their current live expertise on DVD – ‘Sounds From The Heart Of Gothenburg’.
Nostalgia or a return to their roots has never been an option for the progressive In Flames, but the set-list of this bombastic concert DVD tears through the band's entire history. With 20 tracks, the show that was recorded at Gothenburg's Scandinavium, reaches a length of one and a half hours, and achieves in capturing the band at their very best, celebrating current hits such as 'Through Oblivion’, 'With Eyes Wide Open‘ and 'Rusted Nail‘ to a packed out arena. But of course, old school classics such as 'Trigger‘, 'Cloud Connected‘ and the hypnotic finisher 'Take This Life‘ are not left out.
Prepare for an intensive and visually explosive performance in front of 10,000 fans featuring pyrotechnics, circle pits, flying crowd-surfers and In Flames' incomparable riffs.
"This DVD is for everyone who was been following our career; we have songs from the early years, the middle years and the new era. It has to be fun for us to play but also fun for the audience to watch and we try to get a good flow with nice dynamics and different songs,” - states Björn Gelotte.
Bring Me The Horizon have launched their latest music video for 'Follow You' from their album 'That's The Spirit'. Watch here. The band have been selling out dates and upgrading venues on their world tour throughout the UK, Europe, North America, South America, Australia and South East Asia. The band's European dates will see Raw Power roster mates Don Broco as special guests. See full dates here. In other news, the band have announced that their sold out orchestral show at the Royal Albert Hall for Teenage Cancer Trust will be available on DVD, with all proceeds going to charity.
