The Swedish melodic progressive metal band Darkwater just released a lyric video for "A New Beginning", the second single from their new album "Human".

"Human" will be released on March 1st via Ulterium Records. The album will be available on CD, 2LP and digital.
"Human" won't leave fans of melodic metal or progressive metal disappointed. The songs are heavier, more melodic and atmospheric than before and the band worked really hard on tweaking the ten songs and over 76 minutes of playing time into perfection. Jacob Hansen (Evergrey, Volbeat, Amaranthe) was chosen to mix and master the album and he did a fantastic job which resulted in the best sounding Darkwater album to date.
The lyrics of the album welcomes you into a world of you and me, how we affect the world around us and the struggles we deal with as humans.
Don't miss out on "Human", a perfect album for fans of melodic progressive metal and bands like Circus Maximus, Seventh Wonder and Evergrey!

The female dominated Dutch Death Metal squad Sisters Of Suffocation releases its second video from the upcoming album "Humans Are Broken" for their new single “Little Shits”. It’s as raw and energetic statement against all sexists and haters that didn’t take the band serious because of their gender.
The band on the new video:
“This song is about doing what you love and following your dreams, regardless of what other people may think of it. It is about diversity and equality, as well as having a passion for music and living for it to the fullest. It is about being yourself and trying to deal with people putting you down due to ignorant views and blatant prejudice. Finally, it is about overcoming negativity and putting your foot down, cause no-one has to take shit from another person simply because they live their lives and love it. We hope you all enjoy it; we certainly do! Also: big shout out to Marc Van Peski for the live pics in the video.”

The most hard-hitting Swedish thrash metal band ever Carnal Forge is back and has signed a record deal with Swedish label ViciSolum Productions. The band’s new album “Gun To Mouth Salvation” will overtake the world on January 25, 2019. “Gun To Mouth Salvation” is Carnal Forge´s first album since 2007 monster release “Testify For My Victims”.
Founder Jari Kuusisto says:-
“I quit Carnal Forge after the last full-length album Testify for my victims because I was just feed up with the music industry and everything about being in the band. It took some years but I felt I was kind of missing CF, so I talked to my brother Petri and I called up Lars in 2013 and said. Hey, let's f*****g do it! He had been waiting since the hibernation in 2010 so it was a Go! right on the spot. We made this mini CD to wake up the corpse and we did some shows but then we decided to not do any more shows until we had a new album and new fresh songs to play. It's a long boring story why it took so long time, but finally here we are now, ready to kick some serious ass again! And with us we also have Lawrence Dinamarca (Nightrage, Loch Vostok) and new vocalist Tommie Wahlberg.”
Italian progressive metal band, Last Union feat. as guest Dream Theater vocalist James LaBrie have released a new lyric video for ‘A Place In Heaven’. The track is taken from their debut album ‘Twelve‘, which also features Mike LePond (Symphony X) on bass, Uli Kusch (Helloween, Masterplan) on drums, will be releaed on December 21, 2018 through ROAR! Rock Of Angels Records. The video can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/4OVroQNzbu8
The video was directed by Marco Borsella.
The quiet city of Tolentino in the Marche region of Central Italy not only boasts a rich historical background, it is also the place progressive metal band Last Union calls home. Founded by vocalist Elisa Scarpeccio, guitarist Cristiano Tiberi and keyboardist Claudio Feliziani in 2007, the band — originally known as Blazing Ice — embarked on their journey in the pursuit of sharing their thoughts and feelings about life, and ultimately their art, with the world. With the assistance of professional session bassists and drummers, the trio established themselves on the Italian scene with a string of shows that helped them evolve and refine their craft. Over the course of 20 shows, Last Union presented songs that would eventually make the final cut for their debut album.
Strong and positive reactions to their music spurred Scarpeccio and Tiberi on to take the first of many bold steps. The first was to reach out to Kusch, who, after hearing the music, expressed interest in joining the band as a full member rather than just a touring drummer. A similar scenario played out with LePond and Last Union was officially born. The icing on the cake, however, was getting LaBrie to sing on three tracks.

Lotus is the forthcoming new studio album from Sweden-based progressive metal collective, Soen. Set for release via Silver Lining Music on February 1st, 2019, the nine songs comprising Lotus are intoxicating, addictive aural therapies, questioning much of today's darkness while juxtaposing them with moments of great escape and hope.
Stream / Share Soen's "Rival" At THIS LOCATION
Produced by David Castillo and Iñaki Marconi at Ghostward Studios and Studio 6, the album features the first recorded Soen material with newest recruit, Canadian-born guitarist Cody Ford, whilst the centre-point of the album remains those trademark, snap-heavy, progressive Soen riffs. Songs such as "Rival," "Covenant," and "Martyrs" are dissertations on modern societies, fraught with poetic, finitely designed confusion and chaos, yet as the name Lotus suggests, there is still strength, beauty, and purity to be extracted from what at times seems like an endless cycle of human regression.

Soen's Lotus will be released on CD, LP, and digital formats. For pre-orders go to THIS LOCATION.
Lotus Track Listing:
Joel Ekelöf - vocals
Martin Lopez - drums

Charged with vicious riffs, voracious vocals and ear blasting drums, this record marks a new chapter for the band as it pushes the boundaries of heaviness of their sound more than ever before. As a result, this album is more violent and straight-to-the-point than the previous ones, yet without losing the creative identity that marks the band's music since its inception.
The album cover was hand drawn by legendary artist Mark Riddick, who has previously worked with bands such as Arch Enemy, Exodus, Morbid Angel, Mortician, The Black Dahlia Murder, Suffocation and many others.
The new album can be pre-ordered at www.destroyersofall.com. Several bundles are available, including different combinations of the album, merchandise and tickets for the presentation show.
"The Vile Manifesto" (2019) is the third release of the band after the debut EP "Into the Fire" (2013) and the LP "Bleak Fragments" (2016), both critically acclaimed by specialized media. The band once again chose to record the new album at the Golden Jack Studios in Portugal, also having it mixed and mastered by João Dourado.
