Spanish death metallers Bloodhunter have inked a deal with Xtreem Music for the release of their upcoming second album, coming this fall.
Formed back in 2008, Bloodhunter is one of Spain's leading death metal forces. Led by virtuoso guitarist Fenris and vocalist Diva Satanica, the band released their debut album, Bloodhunter, back in 2014, where they started to create a solid fan-base around the country thanks to their strong live performances and high-quality death metal with a melodic & brutal edge.
Bloodhunter has now finished recording their second album, to be entitled The End of Faith, whose lineup is completed with bassist Éadrom and magnific session drummer Marcelo Aires. The result is fantastic and will definitely put Bloodhunter on the map as a force to reckon. Just imagine if Arch Enemy would play death metal - yes, death metal, not aggressive modern heavy metal - with a much more brutal approach.
Release date, artwork, track-list, advance songs, and other info will be revealed in the coming weeks, so stay tuned! You can visit Bloodhunter's official Facebook page below, and watch a video-clip from their debut album HERE, although Xtreem Music says the new material is waaay more brutal and aggressive!
The female fronted progressive power metal band Vandroya just released a lyric video for "I'm Alive", the first single from their highly anticipated new album "Beyond The Human Mind". The album will be released on April 28th in Europe and North America through Inner Wound Recordings.
The album concept revolves around the journey we all go through in search of fullness and inner peace. The album artwork is created by Felipe Machado Franco [Blind Guardian, Rhapsody of Fire, Iced Earth].
Led by vocalist Daísa Munhoz, Vandroya are ready to take the next step and make a mark in the metal scene with "Beyond The Human Mind".
Hungarian female fronted metallers Ann My Guard have released a new lyric video for “Hekate“, the song is taken from their forthcoming album ‘Ourania‘, due out on January 13, digital and January 27, 2017 as CD via Rock’N’Growl Records. The video was made by Molnár Alexandra "Rusek".
Amsterdam-based metal band The Charm The Fury have signed a record deal with the world’s biggest heavy metal label Nuclear Blast. As the follow-up to their debut album, A Shade Of My Former Self, the band will release a new album in March 2017 through the established rock and metal independent. Be sure to check out the teaser trailer on the Nuclear Blast YouTube channel!
The Charm The Fury have matured since their debut. With several of Europe's biggest festivals under their belt, they have transformed their sound into a startling slab of ultra-modern but utterly distinctive metal that shrewdly and honestly redefines what The Charm The Fury is all about. Driven by a collective distaste for the state of the world in the 21st century, the band recorded an angry album underpinned by ferocious intelligence and a heartfelt desire to wake people out of their digital stupors.
With more details about the band’s new album to come, the critical moment has arrived: The Charm The Fury are armed, ready and hungry for the next big push. When it explodes in 2017, the smart money is on these diehard noisemakers claiming their rightful place among the new metal elite. They have the songs, the determination and the charisma to make it happen.
