The latest signing of Rockshot Records, the Swiss symphonic metal band Dreams In Fragments are poised for the release of their album "Reflections Of A Nightmare" due out on June 28th.
Featuring musicians from Majesty Of Silence, Rainforce, Proxima, the foursome known as Dreams In Fragments consists Seraina Schoepfer (lead vocals), Chris Geissmann (guitar, vocals), Jan Thomas (bass) and Franc Fritschi (drums) hailing from the small Swiss town of Wangen bei Olten somewhere between Basel, Berne and Zurich. The band's musical stylings have been compared to popular acts such as Nightwish and Delain. However, Dreams In Fragments have no reason to present themselves as a cover band of any of the greats; Seraina’s voice, operatic yet light as a feather, combined with Chris' growls sets the band apart in the same way the union of hard guitar riffs and dreamy orchestrations does. It is only fitting that their set list is built around the band’s own compositions such as 'The Maze' and 'Nightchild'.
In June 2019, the band will hit the road for an Eastern European tour as a support act with fellow Swiss friends symphonic dark metal group FORGE for their "Heimdall Tour 2019" in Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary.
"Reflections of A Nightmare" is available for pre-order via Rockshots Records at http://bit.ly/DreamsInFragments_CD
The lyric video of the first single "Nightchild" is available on YouTube: https://youtu.be/r-Gd-Juk_Tc

Brazilian Power / Symphonic metallers FlowerLeaf have published a lyric video for the track "Grain of Sand", which was taken off from the band's debut full-length "Stronger". Vocalist Vivs Takahashi comments: «This was the first song written by FlowerLeaf. Marcelo [Kaczorowsky, instrumentalist] played some chords on the guitar and I quickly created the melody and the lyrics, and that's when we thought, 'OK, we can do this!'. The title of the album, "Stronger", is based on this song, which talks about how we can change the world even if we are just a grain of sand, so we need to be stronger.»

Mexican Symphonic Metal group Cabrakaän have released a new official video for the track Calm In My Storm, taken from their forthcoming EP Cem Anahuac My Home, set for release via Sliptrick Records on August 27th.
Here’s the bands synopsis: “Calm In My Storm represents the spirit of our beloved ones that are no longer here, though always watch over us. The ones whose memories give us the strength to keep going no matter what. In the video, the main Character chases that spirit in the cold, the only thing she has left from it, is a memory that she keeps all the time next to her heart (it’s represented with the mud figure of Vucub-‐Camé, lord of the Mayan underworld). In the end, the spirit appears in front of her and they become one forever.”
Recorded at MacEwan University and North Saskatchewan River in Edmonton, AB, Canada. Thanks to the production team from MacEwan University in Edmonton, AB, Canada. Special thanks to the guest bassist that appears on this video, Madi Myhre.

Francesco Paoli on working with director Giovanni Bucci:-
"I met Giovanni Bucci a couple of years ago, while collaborating on his own band ODDKO. We soon became good friends, so we started talking about having him as director for Fleshgod’s new videos. He is a true visionary, with amazing directing and production skills. He’s been making music videos for bands like Korn, and he also has a shining career in the movie industry. We all agreed that he would’ve been the key to a huge step forward for us, visually and artistically, especially on a video like this, which was also extremely complex to produce and shoot. The result is on your screen now, and it's better than any description. Just hit the play button and enjoy."
Dimlight are excited and proud to present to you the cover of our orchestral album, “A symphony of horrors” (Artwork by: Invoker Peter, graphics by Melina Zarkadi): are you ready for the very Underworld’s soundtrack? Follow us through sunless paths and under cyclopean basaltic arcades of inhuman proportions and mind-distorting geometry on a journey through the tortured realm of the dead in ten parts.
(Mix and mastered by Invoker Peter at Dark Cortex studio)
First formed in 2006, Dimlight are highly active in live performances worldwide, touring from Europe to the Middle East and sharing a stage with such talent as Arch Enemy, Lacuna Coil, Epica, Septic Flesh, Firewind, Annihilator, The Haunted and many more. Their first album, “Obtenebration” debuted in 2009, followed by “Psychosynthesis”, in 2012. Despite a rising tide of difficulties and misfortunes that would have justified any band to quit, Dimlight pressed on through the storm and in 2015 they released their concept album “The Lost Chapters”, confirming their resilience, passion and dedication to delivering high quality extreme music which always pushes the envelope with each step of the way.
