After releasing one gut punch of a Full-length on December, 2nd of 2016, our Boys in As A Conceit are here with a live recorded session of "A Should with A Must" from the debut full-length album titled "Frown Upon Us".
For fans of artists such as Architects and Northlane, these Progressive metallers administer a chilling dose of technicality laced with subtle melody, all the while without losing sight of the message these gents aim to deliver: anger, dismay but at the same time, a sliver of hope for the world we live in. And the timing for such feelings has never been more spot on. For any fan who enjoys technicality, ambiance and gut-wrenching vocals supported by a radical musical assault, or for anyone who's enjoyed the latest Architects albums, this is an album that should not be missed out on.
The band gives us more detail into this single and how everything came together:
"'A Should With A Must' is the last song off our last album 'Frown Upon Us'. This song is about our society in modern life; about being constantly pushed to be and to think what we are and what we think, day after day, in a never-ending brainwashing lead by mass media, governments and multinational corporations; about the personal struggle we all lead to not be defined by others and to find our own identities. We decided to film this live session because to us is one of the most fun and energizing songs to perform live, if not the most one, and because we think it encloses a meaningful message we should all regularly take some time to reflect upon."
Brazilian extreme metal lords Nervochaos have posted on their YouTube Channel two outstanding 360° videos, featuring the songs "Total Satan" (from "Battalions of Hate" released in 2010) and "The Devil's Work", taken from "The Art of Vengeance" album (2014).
Comments the band:
"This is a project by Tellus Studios, we recorded the videos earlier this year and we wanted to release some clips to our fans. Expect more videos coming soon. Thanks to Tellus Studio & everyone involved on this project."
Tellus Studio stated:
"We thank you, for the honour that you gave us in being able to work for you. You are a great band, and excellent people! We are your fans! \m/ hail NervoChaos!!!!!!"

Austrian diabolical death / black metal commandos Belphegor are back in the studio to record their 11th still untitled album.
The LP will act as the follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2014 recording ‘Conjuring The Dead’. Expect a release date of September through Nuclear Blast Entertainment, followed by an intense touring cycle worldwide.
Frontman / founder guitarist Helmuth Lehner has given an update on Belphegor´s current run in the studio:
"The drums and bass guitar have been executed masterfully by Serpenth (Bass, screams) and German maniac drummer Bloodhammer. A new chapter, a new challenge."
“We've once again created an LP with two different tunings in the manner in which we did ‘Pestapokalypse VI’ (Oct. 2006). We’ve added a lot of new elements and structures to our trademark sound and tuned the guitars down to achieve even more brutal and obscure effects. These are the most furiously heavy, fierce and superior nine sound collages we have ever written and recorded."
Keep an eye out for news on further details such as the album’s title, producer, as well as lyrical and artistic concepts – all coming soon…
Check out this exclusive clip of Belphegor playing 'Totenkult - Exegesis Of Deterioration' recorded live inside their rehearsal bunker. This scorching death/black metal track will be included on the upcoming album. Crank it to the max and go to hell with them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMT9xxBpFK4

Expect these tunes to enter your mind permanently, never to leave, later this year!"

Periphery, the DC-based technical metal band whose double album, "Juggernaut: Alpha and Juggernaut: Omega", debuted at #15 and #16 on Billboard’s Top Albums’ chart, have returned to the studio to record their fourth album.
“I’m really stoked to be back writing and recording new material with the band,” said bass player/production wizard Adam “Nolly” Getgood. “It feels like everyone is really on the same wavelength. I can’t wait for people to hear the new songs – we’re exploring a lot of new territory for Periphery, I’m very excited to hear the results once the whole process is finished.”
The as-of-yet untitled album will arrive in early summer via Sumerian Records.
Periphery recently announced the “Periphery Summer Jam,” a four-day immersive experience (July 25 to 29) featuring instrument and production clinics, songwriting tutorials and exclusive live performances set amidst the mountains off the Hudson Valley at the Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, New York.
“We’re going to give you an in-depth look at our songwriting process, what we do in the studio and on tour,” said guitar player and Guitar Player columnist Mark Holcomb. “We also just kind of wanted to hang out with our fans.”
