Invictus Productions has set December 15th as the international release date for Obscure Burial's highly anticipated debut album, fittingly self-titled.
Hailing from Finland, Obscure Burial are Death Metal incarnate. No memory, no past nor future, but the fertile blackness of One and Only, the Lawless King, son of the stillborn moment: Obscure Burial emerged from the lifeless womb in the year 2012. Not long after, their debut demo, God’s Abomination, is released by Invictus and the cult begins. Two years later came Epiphany, the band's second demo, again released by Invictus. Here, their ruthlessly eldritch death metal receives a more advance and dynamic approach, and the fever surrounding the name begins to build ever further. Now, after a minor line-up change, the time is at hand for the band's debut album: Obscure Burial.
Truly a magnum opus of all that's come before within their enviable arsenal, Obscure Burial don't so much alter their steadfast formula as simply perfect it. For true believers with ears and hearts wide open shall bear witness, upon one mere spin of Obscure Burial, that the ancient black/death magic is filthier than ever and effervescently captured in truly terrorizing 3D, raw and reckless and yet deadly fucking clear. The well of influence - the fuck-off-forever sounds of Necrovore, Profanatica, Sadistic Intent, and early Possessed - is still being supped from, but here, Obscure Burial put their own personal spin on it, piling on miles of malevolence and obscurity atop. These eight songs each explode into being, and from each spring endless detonations that reverberate hideously into the abyss. In its compact and coruscating 37 minutes, Obscure Burial accomplishes every inch of its title and moniker: this is an obscure burial, from which no listener can claw his way to the surface.
Timeless and taunting, Obscure Burial have delivered their first grand work. For all ends, for we are in Death - we stand eternal. Face the beginning of the end with the new track "Imago Mortis" at Invictus' Bandcamp HERE.
Italian technical thrashers Centripetal Force have just inked a deal with Xtreem Music for the release of their debut EP, Eidetic, due to come out before the end of the year.
Formed back in 2010 by Stefano Saroglia (guitars) and Andrea Carratta (drums), Centripetal Force completed the line-up with John Knight, who is lead singer of UK progressive metal band Synaptik. The musical style of the band is twisted, technical, and progressive thrash metal in the vein of bands like Watchtower, old Cynic, Mekong Delta, Control Denied, Coroner, later Death, and Toxik.
In 2017, Centripetal Force recorded three songs destined to be their debut EP, entitled Eidetic, and with this, they got a deal with Xtreem Music for its release in December of the same year. The band is now working on more songs for a second EP to be released sometime in fall 2018, but that's another story...
Soon, we'll be able to reveal cover artwork, track-list, and first advance single for Eidetic. In the meantime, you can visit Centripetal Force's official site below.

Peruvian Heavy Metal Warriors, Mandragora announce pre-orders for upcoming album & unleash album cover and track list for their upcoming album "Waves OF Steel" to be released on CD & Cassette on INFERNO Records - Set for October 30th 2017.
Mandragora is a Traditional Heavy Metal band hailing from Nuevo Chimbote City in north Peru, South America.
The band was formed back in 2007 by bassist Jorge Mandragora with the arrivals of Pablo Campana (guitar), Fatima Natthammer (Female vocalist) and Beto Alpiscueta (drums). Quickly the band started to develop their own style & compose their own original songs with influences from classic Heavy-Metal & NWOBHM sounds and also started playing live in their home town in local Pubs and Bars like “El Bucanero”, “Dinosaurios”, but also found other stages to burn in the country. In 2010 - after guitarist Herman Gers joined the band - MANDRAGORA recorded its first demo called "Steel Metal" with the help (as producers) of COBRA's guitarist Nito. That demo was then released to 500 copies on Colombian label Hellhoundz Records but also on Peruvian label Capricorn Records as a limited cassette edition to 150 copies.
More live-appearances followed then.. sharing stages with bands like DOMINUS PRAELII, APOCALYPTIC RAIDS, CAUCHEMAR, COBRA, PENTARAM (Chi), ENFORCER, SATAN.... 2013 saw the band entering the studios again to record two new songs for a 7"EP to be released on INKAS NOIZE Records in 2014 - that EP got excellent feedbacks from the underground media & public and in the next weeks (after the band shared the stage with German Metal Queen DORO), the band inked a deal with French record label INFERNO Records. Today the band delivers its best effort to date - the first full-length album "Waves Of Steel" which shows a more mature band with an even bigger potential now ! Get Ready !!
MANDRAGORA's music is best described as Old-School Hard-Rock / Heavy-Metal highly recommended for fans of ACID, ACCEPT, SAXON, IRON MAIDEN, JAGUAR. Bassist Jorge had this to say about their new album:

And it's been two years of hard work and patient waiting, but believe me it's been worth it. We are from a small town, maybe lost on the map but we a breathe Heavy Metal. We are between the sea and steel industries: Nuevo Chimbote city. We want to go out on the road right now to show our music. Right now we are going to tour Peru and some countries in South America. French Doom Metallers Greyfell have inked a deal with Argonauta Records.
Equally influenced by violence and hypnosis, Greyfell doom sonorities are able to blend Black Metal, Psych and Hardcore echoes, drawing influences from the sonic heavyweights like Type O Negative, Sleep and Kickback, with a sound that proves to be celestial, telluric and all around massive.
Their second album “Horsepower” explores new territories with the arrival of a fourth member on keyboards and synths, thus going even further into massive drones and ghostly textures.
Produced entirely on their own, this new record marks the beginning of their collaboration with Argonauta and pushes the boundaries of heaviness and incantatory atmospheres.
Greyfell “Horsepower” will be released by early 2018.
“There will be a light in the dark, there will be quiet before the storm, there will be harmony in chaos.”

Northern Irish extreme metal quintet have signed a deal in blood with Hostile Media which will see the extreme metallers release a new record entitled The Great Miasma. Guitarist Saul McMichael (also of Irish pagan metal outfit Waylander) comments, “Signing to Hostile Media for this release is a significant mile stone in the bands career. We’ve always believed in what we do, and to have a label share that belief is more validating than words can describe. We knew we had a good chance at getting picked up by a label when it came time to release our first album, but to be picked up for an EP was something we never expected. So here marks the start of our journey down a hopefully successful, yet bloody path for both band and label.”
The Great Miasma is set for release 1st December 2017 and is a story driven concept EP spanning three songs. Each song takes the listener through a different chapter, following the ritualistic sacrifice, possession and wrath of a young girl to appease an ancient god. Each song will also be accompanied by a music video, released out of sequence. Only when all three videos have been released and played in order, will the story become clear.
Drakonis focus heavily on the ‘live spectacle’, blending a mixture of contemporary black and death metal, to create something without the limitations of one genre. Not wanting to work to a strict template, the band dips in and out of many styles to create music which is both atmospherically uplifting, yet devastatingly brutal.
Initially formed under the working title, Order of Shadow (at the time including Gareth Murdock of Alestorm), Drakonis has been an ongoing project for many years, featuring Saul McMichael and Lee McCartney of pagan metal veterans, Waylander. The band remained a studio project until 2015, when a line up was assembled to take things to the live arena. Over the past 2 years the band has brought not just extreme metal to the live circuit, but a highly visual experience. Armed with corpse paint, blood, skulls, spikes, chain-mail and live samples, the band’s entire energy revolves around the live stage show, and will only grow in scale as the band evolves. The band quickly caught the attention of the local scene, with their Ravens Fuel The Sky EP, which they used as a platform to release their follow up, As They Rot. This release was extremely well received by both fans and critics alike, placing it in several best of 2016 lists, including winning Uber Rocks’ ‘International EP of the year 2016″, tying with Voivod.
The Great Miasma is available to pre-order here: www.hostilemedia.net/drakonis-the-great-miasma
