Italian Death metal band Mechanical God Creation sign to Goatmancer records!
"We are very pleased to start this collaboration with the label Goatmancer that after listening to the new album they believed in the band. Talking to them we found out we had the same goals and it was natural for us to find interest in them. We can’t wait to start the work with the label and spread our music all around the world."
Mechanical God Creation was born in October, 2006. The original core of the band sees the light thanks to a forum where Lucy, the former singer of Art of Mutilation who was at that time playing in an English band together with two members of Hecate Enthroned, finds Simo (guitar / vocals) and, the two decide to complete the line-up to form a death metal band. The band walks into the Larsen Forge Recording Studios in Milan in March 2007 to record their first demo entitled "… And the Battle becomes War" featuring 3 tracks and an instrumental intro. The demo is released in May 2007 and is reviewed very positively by magazines and webzines in Italy as well as Europe. In June 2007, the band is selected and voted to play on the 2nd stage of Gods of Metal, playing with sacred monsters like Ozzy Osbourne, Korn and Megadeth.
In 2008, the band starts playing live out of Italy, in Austria and at the Metalcamp Festival in Tolmin, Slovenia where they play with groups like Meshuggah, Iced Earth, Behemoth. In July 2008 the band begins to plan recording of their first full length album and, at the same time, signs a contract with Carlo Bellotti. In November, the West Link Studios in Pisa see the band recording the tracks of bass and drums, then it is the Alpha Omega studios in Como where they complete the recording and mixing of guitars and voices helped by Alex Azzali. The mastering will then be done at Finnvox Studio in Finland. Cell XII finds its final shape in Autumn 2009,nine tracks of pure aggression. During those months, the line-up had several changes: Jambra, Runza and Simo decided to leave the project for personal reasons and Mgc was busy searching for new members.
The search resulted in Ale, Manuel and Davide joining the band and a second album “Artifact Of Annihilation” was recorded at Math Lab and Alpha Omega studio and mixing/mastering at Garage Studio in Canada from Chris Donaldson of Cryptopsy. After a hard time and several problems within the band, Lucy decides to totally reform it and channel her passionate inspiration through new musicians. Fra and Mirko on guitars, Fabry on bass and Carlo as drummer. During these years they supported Behemoth in Saint Petersburg, Septicflesh in Saint Petersburg and Moscow, they played at Metalhead Meeting Festival in Bucarest with Kreator, Dragonforce, Rotting Christ and many more, in Malta at the Voices of the Succubi festival with Cadaveria, in London at Titan Fest with Onslaught, at Garasje Festival in Reinsvoll (Norway). In 2018 they completed their third album called “The New Chapter”, out during 2019.
Joining the ranks at Sliptrick Records this week is the Russian Electro-Metalcore outfit BrightDelight.
The band BrightDelight, founded in early 2017, is one of the brightest young representatives of the Russian metal scene. After releasing their debut album Let’s Make It Real and the first few concerts in Moscow, the band quickly gained fans, the number of which is growing every day. Many, including the band themselves, noted that it is difficult to uniquely determine the style of their music. Nevertheless, opinions converge on such definitions as metal core with electronic. At the core of the songs are lyrical electronics – party synths, the contrast between clean and extreme vocals. Instruments, in turn, add density to the sound and accents.
But the group and fans alike, the most important aspect of their work is the indescribable atmosphere and drive of the band’s live performances. Over the past year, BrightDelight have expanded the geography of their performances, visiting Kaluga and St. Petersburg. Also, during the year, they successfully passed through all stages of the international music festival “Emergenza”. In the final show, the performance was evaluated positively by the members of the international jury and the organizers of the festival and at the end of the contest, BrightDelight were voted in the TOP 30 best bands of Russia.
Expect news soon of the groups plans with Sliptrick Records …we’re expecting a “bright” future!

Joining the ranks at Sliptrick Records this week are Italian Heavy Doomsters Circle Of Witches
Circle Of Witches is a heavy metal band with doom influences formed in Italy in 2004 by the will of Mario Bove (lead voice and guitar). Through the years they featured in hundreds of live shows and festivals, recorded a bunch of demos, two EP’s and three full-length album with the newest going by the title of Natural Born Sinners and scheduled for release via Sliptrick Records in the early months of 2019. The band has been honoured to share the stage with famous artists like Candlemass, Russell Allen (Symphony X), Dark Tranquillity, Decapitated, Melechesh, to name just a few.
In the early days, the band played a raw stoner metal, with strong roots belonging to ‘70s hard and heavy. They had gigs in small clubs and parties, keeping their activity strictly in Italy, always searching for a new stage but showing no real interest in dealing with labels. In 2013 they joined forces with Polish producer Bart Gabriel (Sacred Steel, Crystal Viper, Burning Starr) and sound engineer Mariusz Pietka (Lonewolf, Sabaton, Mortician). They recorded Rock The Evil, a ten tracks album blending heavy metal and stoner, bringing Circle Of Witches closer to Motorhead’s granitic sound and united with the dark riffing of Black Sabbath and the harsh impact of the NWOBHM. A few months later Circle of Witches inked a deal with Metal Tank Records which published the album in February 2014, followed by the promotional tour.
In January 2017 the band hunkered down in Alpha Omega Studios on Lake Como to record the brand new album Natural Born Sinners produced by Alex Azzali and Nicholas Barker (Cradle Of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Testament). This new chapter is focused upon the concept of riot and rebels of the past such as Lucifer, Spartacus, Anton Lavey, Giordano Bruno. The eleven tracks mark the path of heavy metal and doom influences with a sound that brings to mind Judas Priest, Grand Magus and Candlemass.
Circle Of Witches are:
Mario Bove – Vocals/Guitar
Joe Dardano – Guitar
Tony Farabella – Bass/Back Vocals
Joey Coppola – Drums

Agonia Records is pleased to welcome Italy's Hour Of Penance to its roster. The technical, brutal death metal band has signed a record deal with the Polish-based label in November of 2018, after parting ways with Prosthetic Records, via whom the band released three of their last albums, including 2017's "Cast The First Stone". Currently Hour Of Penance is on the final lap of writing songs for the album's as yet untitled successor, set for a 2019 release.
Hour Of Penance commented:-
"We’re really excited to announce that Hour of Penance signed a new deal with Agonia Records. The first fruit of our cooperation, a new album, is coming in 2019. It’s great to be part of a label that has always been focused on quality extreme metal and it’s the right place to spread our music and brutalize the ears of extreme metal fans all over the world with the new songs we’ve composed. We’re working very hard to bring you our finest and best sounding album so far and we cannot wait to start recording. More details will be revealed in the upcoming months, so keep your eyes open".
Hour Of Penance has steadily been making a name for themselves as one of the most intense, talented and impressive death metal bands around, both in the studio and on stage. Pouring heart into death metal and releasing emotions into what they do, they can easily be described as a beast of a performer; they even have a philosophy around it. "Death metal is more than just music", states the band. "It transcends such a limited mortal state of mind. Death metal is the aural expression of humanity’s darkest side, of devastation, sorrow and the harbinger of mankind’s own inhumanity and ultimately its destruction. Death metal is not a trend, a fashion parade or a mean to an end. It is much more than that.
It is a way of life. A life in death". What might sound as a litany, is actually related to one of the Holy Capitals, Vatican City, near which Hour Of Penance was brought to life in 1999. Since its formation, the band released seven studio albums, and performed shows in Europe and North America, with the likes of Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, The Black Dahlia Murder, Devildriver, Misery Index, Nile and Krisiun. They also went through several line-up changes, that would surely have discouraged less dedicated bands. The present line-up consists of guitarist and longest serving member Giulio Moschini, singer and guitarist Paolo Pieri, bassist Marco Mastrobuono and drummer Davide Billia (Beheaded).
Hamburg-based Sludge and Stoner Metal unit High Fighter have signed a worldwide deal with Italian label Argonauta Records. Currently putting together the final songwriting touches, the band's hotly anticipated second album will be released in the Spring of 2019!
Says Argonauta's CEO Gero Lucisano:
"Today I'm beyond stoked to welcome High Fighter in the Argonauta family. I remember how their album "Scars & Crosses" has been on heavy rotation here in our head-quarters for many months, and still is an "evergreen" listening these days. Moreover, thanks to the fact they are an hard working band always on tour, I got the chance to see them on stage, where I saw a captivating band with an uncontrollable energy, top professional attitude and awareness of their own means. Speaking with the band, I immediately got we are both moved by the same type of enthusiasm and it'd be such a lack of synergy to not join forces for their new album, which I can already grant it will be totally massive!"
After their critically acclaimed debut EP 'The Goat Ritual', self-released in the end of 2014, followed by numerous shows all over Europe including festival appearances at Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze, Desertfest Berlin & Antwerp, Sonic Blast, Stoned From The Underground, Up In Smoke and many more, gigs on tour with bands alike Ahab, Conan, Crowbar, Mantar, Corrosion of Conformity, Elder, Downfall of Gaia, Mammoth Storm, Brant Bjork or Earth Ship to name just a few, High Fighter released their first full-length 'Scars & Crosses' in June 2016 with Finland's cult label Svart Records.
High Fighter vocalist Mona Miluski comments:-
"We have met Gero a few years ago at a show in Italy, and we immediately felt his passion and love for the underground heavy music scene. Over the past few months, I also got the chance to work closely with Gero due to my daytime job in the music industry, and I have probably not met many people like him before in this very tough business. He's passionate but also very professional hard work for versatile, heavy bands not only impressed me but the entire band, when Gero made us an offer we could not refuse. We have and always will be very grateful for what Svart Records did for us and our first album, but musically we feel a step to sunny Italy with a label that represents the direction we currently go with our new album has been a great choice and move. We can't wait to start recording in Berlin at the Hidden Planet Studio with our dear friend Jan Oberg (Earth Ship) in the beginning of 2019, and unleash our second full-length baby with Argonauta Records next Spring!“
