Imperium Dekadenz comment regarding their new album: “We are proud that our fifth album ‘Dis Manibvs’ is now streaming in its entirety. In our opinion this album is our most diverse output so far. It carries the typical Imperium Dekadenz mark from the first note, but we have added a new energy. Its epic and melodic parts will carry you off to mysterious and unknown places – like ancient ruins over the vulnerable sides of our spirits. We put our very hearts and souls into these songs! We hope that you enjoy this new journey into the dark realms of ancient cultures and the night."
The artwork of 'Dis Manibvs' has been created by Francesco De Luca and can be viewed together with track-list above.
February 2016; Enter Shikari head out on a tour of the UK, taking in some of the biggest venues they have ever headlined in their decade-long career.
In the DIY fashion that the band have become synonymous with, the video screen content and programming for the front of house quadrophonic audio system has all been created and slaved over for months by the band themselves. Wary of the potential disaster / glorious victory that lies ahead, but never ones to shy away from lifting the curtain to show the inner-workings of their endeavours, the band consider it a wise move to ensure someone is on hand to capture it all on video.
Enter Shikari met photographer / videographer Alexey Makhov on one of their now regular trips to Russia; so when he mentioned his availability prior to the tour, it struck everyone as a no-brainer.
The resulting 30 minute mini-documentary mixes beautifully shot & edited live footage, behind the scenes access, and candid interviews with the band; following them from the tour’s production rehearsals right through to its conclusion at a sold out show at London’s 9000 capacity Alexandra Palace.
Frontman Rou Reynolds had this to say on the subject
“It was great to have Alexy along to document the biggest tour of our lives. He captured both the tension behind the scenes and the emotional release on stage perfectly! "
A full audio recording of the Alexandra Palace show, however, DOES exist, and has now been mixed and mastered. Details of what will be happening with that will be forthcoming shortly.
Enter Shikari have a small number of European festival dates remaining this summer, along with an outdoor headline show at Budapest’s Barba Nagra Track, before heading to Japan and finally rounding off their live 2016 with a short Australian run.

Fresh, dark and extremely powerful are only a few of the best ways to accurately describe Lacuna Coil’s latest opus 'Delirium', which encompasses the strength and heavy approach of thrash metal from the 90’s twisted with goth elements into a modern style. Now, the group proudly presents the album’s first official music video for its gripping title track 'Delirium' which was directed by Michael Winkler (iconographic).
Cristina Scabbia states: "We filmed our parts for this video in one evening while we were on the US tour this past May. We used a Go-Pro against a black backdrop and we wanted something that would be purposely rough, something that could remind some weird lost videos found after years and years.
The whole video edited together with the parts filmed by the director with an actress turned out as a very strange sort of a trip, where a girl tries to tight up memories and details together to try to find her sanity back, somehow. I really like some of the scenes as they reminded me some kind of Korean horror movies vibe and it is totally fitting the ‘Delirium' vibe and concept. It also leaves a lot to the imagination, so thanks for checking it out and enjoy."

Apparently, the legendary Symphonic Setal combo Nightwish is everywhere - even in sports! The Australian national team of synchronized swimmers have announced that they will be using the classical hymn 'Last Ride Of The Day' off Nightwish's "Imaginaerum" from 2012 for their competition at the Olympic Championship! The track will be played in an orchestral version during the swim performance of the team in Rio de Janeiro.
The band feels very honoured and wishes good luck to the entire team!
Down Under elite Denouncement Pyre are premiering their new track "Wounds of Golgotha" via Legacy magazine's website. The track hails from the band's highly anticipated third album, "Black Sun Unbound", set for international release on July 22nd via Hells Headbangers. Three years have passed since the release of their critically acclaimed "Almighty Arcanum", which saw these long-running Aussie tyrants evolving well beyond their black-thrashing beginnings and locate a near-perfect balance between aggression and atmosphere. With "Black Sun Unbound", Denouncement Pyre have perhaps found the balance - between not only aggression and atmosphere, but passion and poison, power and patience, sheer vengeful violence and spiralling night-sky melodicism - in the process delivering a potently black metal record which emphasizes both titular elements of that genre.
In fact, the album title itself bespeaks the brilliance brimming from the quartet here, as each of these ten tracks spills forth a blinding sensation of absolute occult energy, each distinct track distilled into a greater, wholly diabolical totality. Further evidence of such is compounded by the song titles, as well: among them, "World Encircler," "Transform The Aether," "Deathless Dreaming," and the telltale "Revere The Pyre." Fittingly, the production is clear and cutting without sacrificing an ounce of grit on which Denouncement Pyre have built their throne these past 13 years. Returning from a triumphant first North American performance at Maryland Deathfest last month, there's no better time to behold Black Sun Unbound! Hear for yourself the next sounds of triumph exclusively here, courtesy of Legacy, Germany's premier extreme metal authority.
A band statement reads: "Black Sun Unbound is the most challenging album we have created so far, and we have certainly ventured further into the inner darkness with the new material, through a long and demanding creative process. The writing and recording of this album involved a lot of experimentation, and we have seen a vast range of ideas included, more so than past releases; it is a different album to the first two. Expect new doors to be unlocked and old gods to be awakened!" A couple doors have already been unlocked - "Scars Adorn the Whore in Red" and "World Encircler" - and can be found HERE at Hells Headbangers' Bandcamp, where the album can also be pre-ordered. Cover, which was created by David Herrerias, and track-listing are above.
With the albums huge orchestral movements, crushing guitar riffs and guttural vocals, Stormtide's debut Wrath of an Empire succeeds where many have failed in joining epic metal with epic story.
Taking influence from European and Asian styles of music Stormtide has expertly crafted an album that appeals to traditionalists and fans of modern metal genres alike. Effortlessly transitioning between blast beat to soul wrenching quiet passages. This is an album without filler songs, without cliches and without mercy!
Stormtide is a High-Fantasy inspired Symphonic Death metal band formed in Melbourne, Australia in late 2013. Since that time Stormtide has toured extensively to the major hubs in Australia including Sydney, Adelaide and Dubbo - playing alongside elite international artists such as Eluveitie, Finntroll and Gloryhammer as part of various tour support endeavors.
Described as "Fantasy Metal” by most, Stormtide combines heavily orchestrated movements with uniquely heavy guitar and drum work. Paired with deeply guttural vocals, an intense live show involving swords, sorcery and stylish full plate armour and an intricately woven story centring on the adventures of the Warrior, the Prince and the Magician.
Having released the critically acclaimed EP “A Skald's Tale” and the highly lauded “As Two Worlds Collide” single, Stormtide has spent the better part of three years perfecting their debut album. Which makes it's appearance on US label Metal Hell Records on August 1st, 2016 on CD, CD and T-shirt bundle and on all the Digital networks.

Taylor Stirrat - Vocals

According to Dan, the video comes without any cuts or edits, and features an all natural drum sound.

With over two decades of experience in various projects, (including in bands such as Cryptic Darkness, The Eternal, and Insomnium Dei among others), Subterranean Disposition founder Terry Vainoras brings with him a plethora of writing and recording experience, and has used that to his advantage, in crafting an unmistakably bold, creative, and forward-thinking album that incorporates as many elements and techniques outside the doom metal genre as within it.
Asides from a wide variety of guitars, bass, and vocal styles, Terry also plays saxophone on the album, and enlisted the help of Dan Nahum (Bleakwood, The Veil, Dead River Runs Dry) on Drums, Gelareh Pour on Kemancheh, Qeychak Alto and voice, and Daniel Lucas on guest vocals. All-in-all, a wide variety of sound textures, dynamics, and emotion are incorporated into this album, ultimately crafting an album drenched in atmosphere and post-apocalyptic fervor with subtle and careful deliberation in every aspect of its writing and recording.
“Contagiuum and the Landscapes of Failure” was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Adam Calaitzis at Toyland studio in Melbourne Australia, and the album cover was crafted by acclaimed New York artist Coby O’Brien (whose cover art also appears on past HDR compilations). This album will be jointly released by Hypnotic Dirge Records and Solitude Productions on June 13, 2016.
Hypnotic Dirge Records are also offering a discounted price for those who also want to buy Subterranean Disposition's debut album, released in 2012. You can get both albums for $15 + shipping. ($5 discount!)

Iron Bonehead Productions have set August 5th as the international release date for Temple Nightside's highly anticipated second album, "The Hecatomb". For the last five years, main man IV has been pursuing a bleak 'n' oblique vision of Death Metal. Although rooted in the vast and vibrant Australian Black Metal scene, the mysterious IV invested the blackest of arts into ancient Metal of Death, initially self-describing Temple Nightside as "Ritualistic Death Metal Necromancy." And indeed, that was the root - and result - of the then-duo's massive debut album, "Condemnation", in 2013. But with last year's coveted split LP with comrades Vassafor - released to critical acclaimed by Iron Bonehead, and the line-up now expanded to a trio - the sound of Temple Nightside subtly began to morph into more atmospheric and more deeply cavernous shapes.
Alas, with Temple Nightside's line-up now a functioning a quartet, those shapes have arisen in the form of "The Hecatomb". Ever so aptly titled, "The Hecatomb" is lumbering, lurking menace and miasmatic dread dragged to the Beyond and back. It's tangibly still death metal in nature, but there's a certain sinister sensation that eludes conventionally metallic definition; its hulking plod gives way to bestial pulse and then evaporates into a smokestack-dense fog of frightening, palpable evil. The manner in which these nine tracks - three of which are concertedly dark-ambient "Commune" soundscapes - burst forth and then billow away suggest ritualistic disintegration...or more accurately, transcendence.
"A slow descent into Hell" is an oft-misused / abused appellation for sepulchral death metal, but it truly is done justice here. Abyssal sound devoted to and driven by death worship: Temple Nightside's "The Hecatomb" shall stand as a new golden pillar of fathomless morbidity. Hear the first foundation of that pillar with the track "Adrift in Sepulchral Entropy" exclusively at Iron Bonehead's Soundcloud HERE. Cover and track-listing are as follows:
