Italian Death Metal / Deathcore stalwarts The Modern Age Slavery have released the official video for "Miles Apart," a track from forthcoming album Stygian. Check it out at: https://youtu.be/Ql1UOkxPsT0 Innerstrength Records will release Stygian on November 24. Pre-orders are available at: https://innerstrengthrecords.bandcamp.com/album/the-modern-age-slavery-stygian Coming almost four years since the release of critically acclaimed 2013 release Requiem for Us All (Pavement), the level-jumping blast of intensity on the band's Innerstrength debut is the result of miles logged and the already dynamic songwriting honed to a fine point. The band has released the following statement about the new album: "With this new album we tried to make another step forward in the evolution of our sound: what you'll hear it's a quite obscure atmosphere delivering a sullen and evil experience, yet keeping the heaviness of the death metal matrix that marked our music in the previous albums. The lyrics are all inspired by a common theme, from which the name "Stygian" and the correlated artwork come from, discussing the questionable matter of the human evolution leading men to a slow but inevitable mutation into a being that lost his mind and compassion devoured by greediness and will to power. All the pieces of the puzzle are perfectly pondered to create an album made of passion, of anger, and real emotions. This is the The Modern Age's album!" www.facebook.com/tmasofficial/ https://twitter.com/TMASofficial http://www.themodernageslavery.bigcartel.com/ www.innerstrengthmusic.com/ www.facebook.com/innerstrengthrecords/ twitter.com/innerstrengthhc Russian Deathcore band SamadhiSitaram launched new video clip, entitled "ShangriI La", 8th track taken from the album - "KaliYuga Babalon", released on July 14 via Sliptrick records. Band comments: 'We always wanted to make a simple black and white video. These colours are classics forever, and it's magnetic! They remind us of Charlie Chaplin and Ingmar Bergman movie aesthetics.' https://deadpulse.com/product/samadhi-sitaram-kaliyuga-babalon/ https://www.facebook.com/samadhisitaram/ http://samadhi-sitaram.space https://www.instagram.com/samadhisitaram/ https://vk.com/samadhisitaram https://www.facebook.com/sliptrickrecords/ http://www.sliptrickrecords.com MetalSucks has premiered "The Reprisal Within," a new song from Stygian, the highly anticipated new album from Italian Death Metal / Deathcore stalwarts The Modern Age Slavery. Formed in 2007, The Modern Age Slavery (TMAS) rapidly gained unanimous critical acclaim from the international press receiving the "Demo of the Month" award in Rock Hard Germany. The release of the debut album 'Damned to Blindness' via Napalm Records in 2008 delivered an aggressive sound made of grinding blast beats, merciless brutal vocals and slaughtering rapid fire double bass patterns. Thanks to positive audience and press response, TMAS extensively toured around Europe both as headliners and as support act, like joining the "Evisceration Plague Tour" featuring Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus & Obscura and the "Doomsday X Tour" featuring Malevolent Creation and Vomitory. The band also appeared on shows with Fleshgod Apocalypse, Sepultura, Decapitated, Suicide Silence and many more. The release of the second album Requiem For Us All via Pavement Entertainment in 2013 pushed their death metal war machine one step forward again, this time with a fierce mix of blazingly fast drumming, technical riffing, epic atmospheres, and crushing groove. Nominated best metal album of 2013 by Axl Rosenberg at metalsucks.net, it brought the band on tour again with bands as Gorgoroth, Vital Remains, Hypocrisy, plus many gigs on the national soil. In the middle of 2016 there was a line-up change, one guitar player and the drummer were permanently substituted by already known names of the Italian underground metal scene. After some concerts testing the new members TMAS started writing material for the new album, yet never stopping the live activity as testified by the Ukrainian tour in February 2017 and the co-headlining gig with Ingested at Metalcon Festival in The Hague in May. Two months later eight songs were ready so the band entered the studio and finished all the recordings in July. The end of the year 2017 will see the return of the deathsters on the market with powerful, violent and intense riffing, and atmosphere www.facebook.com/tmasofficial/ https://twitter.com/TMASofficial http://www.themodernageslavery.bigcartel.com/ www.innerstrengthmusic.com/ www.facebook.com/innerstrengthrecords/ twitter.com/innerstrengthhc Deathcore squad Gravemind's EP 'The Deathgate' was released last week and the floodgates have opened - with the completely independent niche--within-niche genre Deathcore record hitting #70 on the ARIA Charts overall, #20 on the Australian Artists Chart and #2 on the Australian Independent AIR Chart. A massive effort for the Melbourne outfit, who have very few of the vinyl record pre-orders they put on pre-order last week as well. For most of the release week, they sat within the top 5 Metal releases, top 20 Rock releases and top 100 overall in iTunes and number 2 Metal release in Bandcamp. The release was announced via a viral mystery website - to which they revealed themselves to be the ones behind thedeathgate.com. It was a source of mystery that many media outlets tried to solve - The Music, killyourstereo, Rogue Inc, AAA Backstage, Reddit, Tomatrax, Deathcore Memes and more searched the site from top to bottom for clues, with varying degrees of success. Early July saw Melbourne Deathcore outfit Gravemind unveil that they were behind mystery website thedeathgate.com. The site countdown eventually revealed that Gravemind were behind the site. They are heading out on their EP release tour in September, which sees them on a three date jaunt in Brisbane, Melbourne and Launceston that brings along fellow Deathcore crew Blind Oracle for the Brisbane and Melbourne shows. Punters can look forward to seeing Gravemind on tour, having developed their sound and bone-rattling live show in shows with bands such as Architects, House Vs Hurricane, I Killed the Prom Queen, King Parrot, Hollow World, Iconoclast, A Night in Texas and Justice for the Damned. Gravemind's EP 'The Deathgate' is out now. Singles 'Anaesthesia' and 'Echo' are available now in iTunes and Spotify and all online retailers. For more information go to gravemindofficial.com. Unseen Faith delivers dark and brutal deathcore in an atmospheric universe, and they’re now ready with their debut album “Waver” – a power demonstration with compositions that move from neck breaking breakdowns to exalted musical breathing halts.Their 2nd single from the upcoming full-length is called 'Lost World', and you can listen to it right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkC2YYrfKzA The title of the album, "Waver", expresses the wavering feeling of being a religious person, who tries to hold on to his faith, in the midst of a modern and hectic society. The belief in something bigger is rarely something which is spoken about, even though most people still relate to it. Unseen Faith's spiritual and religious approach this genre of music is quite unique. “Waver” will be released on August 25, 2017, through Prime Collective. The release will be followed by a Danish tour and European dates. UNSEEN FAITH German Deathcore squad Necrotted have found a new label.
