Italy's Blasphemer tears through flesh with the recently-launched video for "You Are Nothing."
Taken from the forthcoming Ritual Theophagy, "You Are Nothing" is a relentless barrage of sacrilege and hatred for the divine. The video's occultist imagery accurately depicts that contempt.
Watch it here.
After six years of silence, this Italian death metal behemoth has been awakened and lashes out with inhuman technical brutality. This is Blasphemer's most evil and chaotic material to date, with their signature style of dissonant rapid fire riffs, savage multi-vocal assault, and featuring the extreme drum prowess of Darren Cesca (Incinerate & Goratory). The gates of Hell have opened unleashing a nefarious fury of malevolence and the holy light will be forever extinguished.
Blasphemer will return to the stage in 2017 in support of Ritual Theophagy. Dates and details to be announced soon.
Comatose Music will release Ritual Theophagy October 14. Pre-orders are available at comatosemusic.com

Underground Symphony Promotions are proud to announce the signing of a new record deal with Hidden Memories for the global release of their new album “Empirical Fragments”, produced by Giulio Capone of Temperance and available this autumn in CD and digital formats.
This is going to be a direct, no frill album, lead by the amazing guitar-work of Jader Phan Van and Andrea Agliardi, by the thunderous drums of Michael Borghi, by the amazing bass of Andrea Boccarusso and by the pristine vocals of Filippo Riganti. The album will feature songs as “Over the Edge”, “First step in the dark” and “Insane equilibrium” and the band's style could be described as a powerful mix between classic metal, catchy melodies, shredding solos and a very punchy approach improved by some keyboards elements.
Gianni Galli made the original artwork of this new album.

States the front-lady, Lucy:
"Being in a band means sacrifices, commitment and dedication and not always easy to have perseverance and desire to achieve a goal for so many years, but when you have so much passion in what you do it is not easy to stop. We are really happy to celebrate our birthday with all these great Italian bands and with all our friends! We can't wait for it \m/"

Almost four years have passed since Persefone unleashed to their highly acclaimed album “Spiritual Migration”. An impressive album that took both the press and the listeners by storm (1,2 million clicks on Youtube!). When the calendar shows February 24, 2017 it´s finally time to experience the evolution of Persefone with their new album “Aathma”! The album will contain 10 new songs and it´s mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street. The artwork is once again created by Travis Smith. “Aathma” will for sure set the standard for progressive metal in 2017!
Persefone´s own words about “Aathma”: "It’s only once in every three, four years that we can express ourselves with freedom as musicians, by making music under the name of Persefone. Each album is a picture of our lives and the way we're experiencing this journey. It’s the first time we feel there’s someone out there, waiting for the album and we are doing our best to make honest music that shows the spirit and essence of the band. It’s not about releasing albums. It’s all about the music."
“Aathma” will be released on CD, 12” double vinyl, a limited digipak edition and of course as digital download. Persefone is releasing a crowd-funding campaign in conjunction with these news, in order to finance the album, and keep people informed and on-track towards the big date in 2017. The crowd-funding campaign can be viewed here: http://vkm.is/persefone

Persefone European tour 2017:
Persefone is the new rising star on the European progressive melodeath scene. Having released 4 critically acclaimed albums, and about to deliver the 5th album of extreme technical skills and fantastic songwriting, this band has climbed from being an unknown band from Andorra to claiming headliner status in Europe.
Persefone has previously toured the continent, as support for Obituary and Leprous, until they - in 2015 - co-headlined alongside Loch Vostok. The 2015 tour proved to the band, that it was high time, to do their own headliner tour, and with the new album in the luggage, they are more ready than ever, to shred the stages to a pulp.
As support, Persefone is bringing along the most interesting band to emerge from Greece for many years: The progressive sensation Poem. The band has released 2 albums, and 2016's "Skein Syndrome" is a tour de force in how to combine Tool, Pain Of Salvation and Opeth to perfection. Poem toured all over Europe in the spring of 2016, as support for mighty Amorphis, with loads of new followers.

Melodic obscure black metal horde Cold Raven - formed in 2013 - released their debut full length album “Equilibrium & Chaos” in 2014, via Sliptrick Records. The band's sound is influenced by the Black Metal scene in the early ‘90s as well by the bands that followed and contributed to open the horizons of the genre. So far Cold Raven has shared the stage with important acts, such as Nargaroth, Infernal War, Necromass, Dark Funeral, God Dethroned, Belphegor, Unleashed, Mortuary Drape, Impaled Nazarene, etc, and has played in several European countries.
Comments the band:
"We are pleased to announce we have signed a deal with Alpha Omega Management. This is an important step forward for us. Horns up!"
Alpha Omega Management adds:

Additionally, the band has announced a Fall European Tour, The Battle of the Bays, with support from Exodus, Prong and King Parrot. The tour kicks off October 21st in Hannover, Germany and a complete listing of dates is included below.
The band commented on the live album saying:
"We are very excited about the live songs that we recorded on this last US Tour. Joe Cincotta from Full Force Studio is also our live sound engineer and he had his full recording rig on the road with us so we took advantage of the opportunity and recorded the show every night. The quality was amazing so we decided to include this as part of the Ten Thousand Ways to Die release to give the fans a little Ob bonus! We selected songs from different cities so you will hear the sound difference between each song. Nothing was done to the songs after the live performance recording so it gives you the real, true, unedited "live show" sound and feeling that the fans experienced at each show."

Regarding "10^(-20) Ångström", mastermind Tamás Kátai comments: "This is a song about the smallest subatomic elements of life on Earth. After the death of a life, these subatomic particles re-arrange themselves into new, different life forms. All existance is based on cosmic star dust on this planet. "
Thy Catafalque previously revealed the artwork and track-list of 'Meta', which can both be viewed below. The cover picture has been hand painted by Bulgarian artist Agnessa Kessiakova.
