Get ready as something special is about to be unleashed, heed “The Calling”, it‘s a killer slab of high quality melodic metal mixed and mastered by Lasse Lammert (Alestorm, Gloryhammer).
Today PrimitaiI premiere the video for brands new track “Overdrive” with MetalTalk. Check it out here: http://www.metaltalk.net/news_eighteen/primitai_overdrive_premiere.php
Here‘s what the band had to say about it:
"This was the first song we wrote for this album, it's about how it feels to be firing on all cylinders again. We tell this through the tale of a Mad Max style character, knocking down everyone who stands in his way, settling old scores before carrying on his journey. The song has all that euphoria and drive channelled into it, alternating between fast, slamming riffs and big melodic chord progressions topped with soaring guitar and vocal harmonies. Our drummer Jonny beats the hell out of the kit and Sergio and I seem to be competing who can play more notes in their guitar solo, we really felt off the chain! " Serj
Bury Tomorrow have announced the release of their fifth album (and first for Music For Nations / Sony Music), ‘Black Flame’, on July 13th. The band, who have this week been inviting fans to ‘Claim Their Flame’ via http://www.bury-tomorrow.com, have also just released the album’s title track as the first single, complete with an accompanying music video at: http://www.smarturl.it/blackflamevideo

By whatever measure you care to use, Bury Tomorrow are among modern British metal’s upper echelon.
Long since established as one of the UK’s most successful heavy exports, the Hampshire quintet have performed on main stages at virtually every major European festival you care to name, racked up millions of YouTube views, scored two top 40 UK albums and sold tens of thousands of tickets to their incendiary live shows in the process. Shows which combine a passion, precision and uncompromising aggression that has become both a trademark and a badge of honour.
That they have achieved all of this, and much more besides, not by following trends or jumping from bandwagon to bandwagon, but by sharpening to a diamond-cut point their brand of punishing, yet effortlessly melodic heaviness, speaks of a character that few bands of any genre could hope to match.
Indeed, it is this character, this unwavering spirit, that has earned them one of the most rabidly dedicated, dye-in-the-wool fan-bases in the whole of rock music. A fan-base which has seen the band grow steadily across four pulverising records of unerring quality and ever-expanding ambition.
But something is about to change for Bury Tomorrow – the embers of steady growth are about to ignite into something much, much larger. The band pouring petrol on the blaze and starting an out and out inferno. ‘Black Flame’ is here, and it’s a record, and a movement, that’s going to spread like wildfire.

Swedish metal band, Hexed, have released a lyric video for the song 'Obedience', the track is taken from their debut album 'Netherworld', out on March 30th - 2018, via ViciSolum Productions. The video was made by Mattias Norén (Kamelot, Epica, Sabaton, Evergrey) at Progart Media. The video can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/Lo0o0e5Zx4U
Hexedis a Swedish Metal band fronted by the amazing vocalist Tina Gunnarsson. The music is a genius blend of thick driving rhythms, melodic guitars and are sometimes progressively orientated, but always with catchy chorus lines and strong powerful female vocals.
'Netherworld' was produced, recorded, mixed by HEXED & DIZTORD. Mastered by JOUNI NIEMI at BIG JAMBO STUDIOS. Artwork & layout by MATTIAS NORÉN (Kamelot, Epica, Sabaton, Evergrey) at PROGART MEDIA.
TINA GUNNARSSON - Vocals
DANIEL HÅKANSSON - Bass
STELLAN GUNNARSSON - Guitars, Keys, Vocals
TEDDY MÖLLER - Drums
HEXED was formed in 2015 by vocalist/songwriter Tina and lead-guitarist/ songwriter Stellan Gunnarsson in Uppsala, Sweden. Both of them played in several bands before and had an early history in the metalscene and of music composing. Now they wanted to create and write music together, something completely new.
They started writing songs and soon they knew exactly what kind of sound they were aiming for. Since both of them had the source of inspiration from bands such as Queensrÿche, Crimson Glory and Pagans Mind they knew that they wanted to create metal music with focus on strong and powerful vocals combined with melodic guitars.
When they had the songs ready and the preproduction was about to start they had to find members who got the quality's required to setup the band. The driven bassist Daniel Håkansson who played earlier in other metal bands, were chosen to take place along with the experienced musician Teddy Möller on drums. HEXED was now formed and complete as a band.
The debut single and lyric video release ”Dreams” was launched in the beginning of May 2016. The debut album "Netherworld" was recorded and produced in 2017. HEXED released their second official music video ”Exhaling Life”. This song and video contains guest vocals from Thomas Vikström and was filmed and produced by the talented Magnus Ewald who also produced videos for Liv Sin, Crucified Barbara, Firespawn, etc. "Exhaling Life" was also released as a limited edition promo EP in March 2017.
The interest and response for HEXED music after the releases have been overwhelming. HEXED got several proposals to consider and are very proud for the decision to sign a worldwide deal with Thomas Hörnkvist and ViciSolum Productions. This Swedish label already have several established bands in its row, such as Persefone, Loch Vostok and Divine Ascension.
Finnish melodic metal troupe Psychework unleashes Fury and the Beast, a brand new track from their upcoming album, on 9th of March. After previous singles Siege and Ghost Patrol released at the end of 2017, it brings “something new and something borrowed” to the band’s sound, as the song also features Wild Till Hiltunen from the viral bluegrass cover sensation Steve ’N’ Seagulls on accordion.
“Musically a pretty wild track from the album, telling a true story about sadistic lovers in the middle of Eastern rush”, singer Antony Parviainen sheds light on the song.
Fury and the Beast is the third single to pave the way for Psychework’s second album, set for release on 20.4.2018 through Ranka Kustannus. The band will also tour Finland in April and May, with progressive power metal group Thaurorod and heavy metal outfit Kamara accompanying them on selected dates.

The new album from Moldovan group Francis is entitled A Million Years Of Loneliness and highlights many urgent and serious problems of our time; personal, social, political and global, with acute social issues coming to the forefront. The themes of the eternal struggle for the right to “live in the sun”, for the right to be the first, for the right to reach the most difficult and daring dreams don’t leave the listener throughout the entire track list.
On a musical side, the material is a mixture of extreme metal and a more melodic direction of modern metal music, as well as interspersed with symphonic and electronic arrangements. The melodic sound came from the influence of bands working in completely different genres: As I Lay Dying, Arch Enemy, Nightwish, etc. Aggressive couplets and breakdowns with melodic choruses are created in the style of Metalcore/Melodic Death and coexist with thrash, death and modern-metal elements. The vocal parts are represented by a combination of extreme vocals with a clean voice, which expanded the creative space for the music’s authors and gave the tracks a striking motif matched by a clear, bright voice. Thus, the recording involved two vocalists.
The composition of the texts on A Million Years Of Loneliness involved the whole group agreeing on different opinions in a single concept for each individual song. The special uniqueness of the texts of the album consist of describing the atmosphere of the problems of each topic. Francis offer the listener not only a specific social, philosophical or personal problem, as food for thought, but also an interpretation of their own emotional feelings of a certain situation, thereby motivating the listener to intuitively comprehend the composition.
Guitar parts were recorded in home studios. Mixing and mastering services, as well as aid in the arrangements, was provided by the studio MoonHome after a long search for the optimal sound of all instruments.

Old-school metal influenced act with modern attitude – this is Eufory, a group from the Slovak Republic led by highly experienced singer, Lubos and backed by their exotic drummer girl, Miriama. The band wasted no time in starting work on their follow up album which will be entitled Higher And Higher and is set for release worldwide via Sliptrick Records in 2018.

Primitai (pronouned Primi-tie) are a London based melodic metal band drawing inspiration from classic heavy metal and combining it with a modern production, intensity and a subtle progressive edge. Whether sharing the stage with NWOBHM bands like Saxon, power metallers Edguy, thrash bands like Warbringer, or even Scandinavian sleaze rock like Crashdiet, the power, melody and intensity of Primitai‘s songs and performance has struck a chord with fans across a wide spectrum of metal.
Their break through came in 2010 upon release of their 2nd album Line Of Fire, which lead to UK tours and festivals including Hard Rock Hell, Bloodstock, Hammerfest, High Voltage and Wacken Cruise. Their 2013 album Rise Again, mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordstrom and featuring a guest appearance from Richie Faulkner (Judas Priest), pushed them higher to dates with Sepultura and Saxon, and praise from the biggest rock publications. After a 2015 UK tour with Wolf, the band went into studio to make Night Brings Insanity with production handled by Lasse Lammert (Alestorm, Gloryhammer). The album was released in 2016, lauded by the likes of Kerrang, Powerplay, Fireworks, Zero Tolerance and countless websites, propelling them to headline shows the length and breadth of the country, and slots with bands as diverse as Hell, Sodom, Power Quest, Crazy Lixx and Blaze Bayley. The band have finished making their next album, scheduled for a spring 2018 release.
Primitai features stalwarts Guy on vocals and Srdjan & Sergio on dual lead guitar, and in 2016 they were joined by drummer and bassist Jonny & Scott, formerly of Dry The River who played the main stages of Reading and Glastonbury and released two UK Top 40 albums.

“We‘re extremely proud to say that we have signed with Dissonance Productions. The vision shown by them shows what potential this label has to really put Britain back on the Heavy Metal map”.
Steve - Dissonance:
“An exciting band that to my mind has been criminally overlooked thus far. I hope signing us will put them on the map, they deserve it!

Ukrainian metal band Ignea has released a new official video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RBR7GvNYv0) for the song ‘Seytanu Akbar’. The aim of this video is to reflect the atmosphere usually present at the Ignea shows. It has been recorded at The Best Ukrainian Metal Act 2017, the annual awards for the top Ukrainian metal bands where Ignea has entered the top 3 bands.
'Seytanu Akbar' is the song opening Ignea’s LP The Sign of Faith. Despite provocative title of the song, the band’s intention is to carry the idea of peace. According to the band’s words: “What we want to say is that there is no reasonable cause to kill other people, be it regime, faith or moral principles. We mainly speak about Islamic terrorism in this song, as one of the social plagues of 21st century, taking lots of innocent lives. However, this applies to every human on Earth, regardless of their religion.”
Ignea mixes melodic metal with symphonic and oriental vibes. So far, the band has released 1 EP, 2 singles, and 1 LP, has gained nearly 4 million views and 26,000 subscribers on YouTube, over 18,000 followers on Facebook, and over 17,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Ignea has performed at the top Ukrainian festivals and has opened the show for Orphaned Land in Kiev, Ukraine.
Recently, Igneahas also joined the roster of The Flaming Arts Agency that includes such famous bands as Behemoth, Venom, Bethlehem, Hate, Keep of Kalessin, Igorrr, Aeternam, and many others.
Currently, the band is about to record new singles and shoot a video. In May, the band is heading off to Europe for an EU tour (TBA) as well as to the RockMetalCampFest (France).
