Music-wise, this young but talented band provide an atmospheric and ritual mixture of blackened doom metal with dissonant sludge that wraps up a message strongly inspired by the Zoroastrian mythology and Sumerian traditions. Currently, DRUJ members are working in the studio on their debut album which will feature six premiere tracks, including one instrumental track. The New Mythology Vol.1, Revenger's second studio release, is a five-song EP that expands on the band's aggressive thrash style with tracks that are more technical, visceral and direct than debut album To The Wolves. They combine groovy riffs and rhythms with twisted folk melodies with a very Finnish touch. The lyrics are in Finnish and more specifically in the accent of Oulu. The songs are tales about drinking, hangovers, trolls and of course blood-spattered eternal battles.
