It’s been a tough time in recent months but Greek modern metal group Simplefast have kept themselves busy backing up the release of their latest album Eternal (Sliptrick Records – February 21st, 2020) with two video releases. First up was the official video for the dynamic track The Liar’s Truth and this was quickly followed by the excellent lyrics video for Nero Reborn. Check both videos out below.
The 8 tracks which make up Eternal are ideal for heavy metal and thrash metal listeners, moreover they combine elements for a more modern metal sound. These are characterized by melodic and growly vocals with groovy drums and bass and a guitar duo, with smashing riffs, sharp solos and melodies filling the space. In their humble opinion, Simplefast consider the album, the “Magnum Opus” of the band. Read more …here

Today, the band releases the video through the official channels. Watch the video HERE!
Commented bass player Eugene Abdukhanov:-
"Who has not played with LEGO as a kid? Who has not secretly dreamed of starring in their own LEGO MOVIE!? What a wonderful gift and pleasure this was to watch and now to release Perennial LEGO to the world … these are indeed very strange days but thank you Mychailo for making our day a little bit more bright and positive!"
Devastating riffs, aggressive vocals, powerful melodies and astonishingly deep lyrics are what make their new album, Macro, Jinjer’s most advanced and undeniable album yet – taking the listener on a journey of trauma, power struggle and greed with a progressive groove metal backdrop.

Born from Val-d'Oise, Dizorder recently won 2 days of training at Le Forum de Vauréal to get prepared for any gig and has been elected by the audience of the open mic of La Ruche 2018.
Driven by the brutal screams of their female singer, the band offers an alternative metal at the crossroads between Flyleaf, Deftones, Northlane and frees themselves from more lyrical spheres.

In the midst of the global Covid-19 pandemic and with music fans confined to their homes, Ukrainian modern metal frontrunners Jinjer bring live madness to your screens with the release of the official live video for crushing song "Pit Of Consciousness" from their globally acclaimed album Macro.
The video was filmed during the band's captivating performance in Kiev in 2019 by Oleg Rooz (Suicidal Tendencies, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Enter Shikari).
Commented bass player Eugene Abdukhanov:-
"Back when we recorded this show we were on the tail end of a 6 month tour and somewhere in between all that madness we managed to write and record Macro... it was an extremely stressful time. But it was one of the most positive times of our lives. Things right now look pretty grim and no one knows what will happen next. We want to release this video with the hopes of letting people know that no matter how crazy, confusing and scary things get - BETTER TIMES are on the way. Let’s use the time at home in isolation to take a good look inside and learn about our true selves…"

Modern Metal band Reasons Behind have signed a deal with Scarlet Records for the release of their new album ‘Project: M.I.S.T.’.
Founded in 2010 by guitarist and songwriter Gabriele Sapori, Reasons Behind evolved from a Symphonic Metal band with electronic influences to a more synth-oriented sounding outfit.
The crystal-clear, powerful voice of Elisa Bonafè dances between catchy and enthralling melodies, combined with both modern Swedish Metal and Metalcore riffs (thanks to bass player Michele Cavalca and Andrea Gambini's drumming) and immersed in Trance / Dubstep / Eurodance atmospheres, enriched by lyrics that depict all the facets of human existence.
‘Project: M.I.S.T.’ is a concept album about life and reality, a story that unfolds through 11 compelling tracks illustrated by the evocative artwork of Gustavo Sazes (Amaranthe, Epica, Angra, Arch Enemy). The album was mixed and mastered by Giuseppe “Dualized” Bassi (Fear Factory,
After an incredibly successful 2019 that saw the band tour North America as well as Europe (the latter even twice) and release their worldwide charting new album, Macro, Ukrainian modern metal frontrunners Jinjer return with the official music video for their standout track, "Retrospection" - a song that touches the sensitive subject of family.
The band emotionally states:-
""Retrospection" is one of the most personal songs we have ever written. Being a full time touring musician, spending most of the time on the road … of course we are making our biggest dream come true and living each day to the fullest, but nobody mentions that there is a dark side. We do not see people who devoted themselves to us entirely, who gave us everything they had and more… We miss them and they miss us in return, and yet we should call them more often… much more often than we do.
I am talking about our parents.
For most of the Jinjers, our parents are separated from us not only by distance, but also by war and politics. We don’t have an opportunity to visit our parents even when we are in Ukraine. And it feels like they are on the other side of the planet even if we are literally only 800 km away. The worst thing is that, now being in our 30s, year after year, it feels like the storm clouds are gathering above. We all know that the day will come when we will feel alone all of a sudden… and we will lose them. The people, but for whom, we’d never make it. The bitter taste of understanding this is almost unbearable.
We look at this song as an anthem to the ones who raised us, who sacrificed everything for the sake of our happiness no matter what the costs, even despite our own thankless and ingratitude towards them. The people who showed us that the purest love ever does exist - the love of the father and mother for their children.
"Наши мамы и папы, мы хотим, чтобы вы знали, что мы тоже вас любим, и что без вас мы бы никогда не добились всего этого и не осуществили бы свою мечту. Спасибо вам за все - (Mom and Dad, we want you to know that we love you too, if not for you we’d never make it this far and never fulfil our dreams. Thank you for everything.)"
Showcasing the band's diversity, the unique track not only features the typical technical finesse and sheer brutality, but also scores with heavy grooves and quiet, almost ballad-like moments as well as parts sung in the their native tongue, Ukrainian. The song was originally released on their latest full-length album, Macro, out now via Napalm Records.
“It's been a while since I came home... My heart is elsewhere as I roam and roam..."

From their 2015 debut EP to numerous area shows, the Montreal-based band has garnered a reputation for re-defining modern metal with a sound that is a melting pot of styles, including the occasional influences of death metal, components of hard rock, groovy riffs and catchy choruses alongside explosive guitar solos reminiscent of Eddie Van Halen, Yngwie Malmsteen and Dimebag Darrell. All this is topped off by singer Darren Beadman's striking vocal techniques and unique tone, which have been likened to Warrel Dane, Sebastian Bach and Rob Halford.
Demise Of The Crown solidified their line-up in 2014 after local music veterans banded together with a vision of shaking the foundation of heavy metal. The band’s music, written by Manuel Iradian and Darren Beadman, uses standard pop music songwriting skills to hook listeners into Demise Of The Crown’s infectious metal sound.

Modern Metallers Amaranthe unleash official video for new digital single 'Do Or Die' (ft Angela Gossow)
Sweden’s hottest metal export is just rounding up their European arena tour with Sabaton and are ready to present a very special Valentine’s Day gift: Amaranthe spice up the day with a brand new song featuring former vocalist of Arch Enemy, Angela Gossow. 'Do Or Die' displays Amaranthe’s heavier side and is accompanied by a dystopian horror video filmed in Spain, featuring Fardou Keuning's stunning creations. Brave enough? Watch the video here: https://youtu.be/iZweNFWbegI
Angela Gossow comments:-
"It was thrilling to join Amaranthe for a more extreme track and shooting a cutting edge video for it! This is no cosy studio performance, but real ice cold winds, sewage, cadavers and pouring rain - the reality we live in, the devastating legacy we leave to our future generations. Time to wake up, turn - and bang - some heads! Watch out for these guys and killer lady, they are going to crush you this year with a new album and some heavy touring!!!"
Guitarist Olof Mörck states:-
"While Amaranthe's music is often uplifting, energetic and positive, sooner or later everyone needs to deal with the obvious fact that the world is literally crumbling around us - and it is crumbling fast, thanks to the short sighted abuse of our common Mother Earth! We talked to legendary Angela Gossow of Arch Enemy fame to do an entire package of a video and a song, outside of any normal album cycle, and let our different perspectives on metal collide in a massive explosion; and it resulted in Do or Die! Together with Overbeck Media who shot the video, we delivered something really quite special, and Angela brings in a fresh strength to the trademark Amaranthe sound that is sure to resound all across the metal world! Death and Fire!"

Within their arsenal of hit singles - with 'Drop Dead Cynical' leading right at the front - a myriad tracks have been received very well via press and fans alike; having also gained countless plays on both radio stations around the globe and across streaming services (the group's songs have been streamed more than 100 million times on Spotify).
