They all have different musical influences which is essential for the band's unique and fresh sound.

The band comments:

Canadian Modern Metallers Juliet Ruin premiere 'Fight To Win' lyric video and announce Jinjer support dates

Edmonton, AB's Juliet Ruin recently released their first full-length album "Old Stardust, Love and Chaos" on September 6, 2019 to follow their 2017 debut self titled EP. The release promises to be more technical with heavy instrumentation, including some dabbling in low tuned 7 string guitars to create an original sound chock full of catchy hooks that convey a fresh and emotive feel to their heavy music. Lead vocalist Jess Ruin has added more screams, but also more clean techniques with her pop-esque power vocals. Fans of forward-thinking modern metal such as Evanescence, System of a Down, and Killswitch Engage should take special note of this powerful and emotive Canadian band.

Teaming up with GhostCultMag.com, Juliet Ruin is excited to premiere their latest lyric video for the track 'Fight To Win' at the following link HERE.

The band adds:

"'Fight to Win' is probably one of the more unique tracks on the album. It begins softly and quickly changes pace, flowing into our most experimental vocals in the verses. FTW is a wordy and exciting track with an array of vocal styles. The verses of this one are special vocally because of creative on-the-spot thinking in the studio by Diego Fernandez. The last-minute change to make the verses more spoken the entire mood of the song different. FTW is an ode to owning up to a vengeful nature just to flaunt it proudly as a warning sign."

Digital stream and download of Juliet Ruin's debut album "Old Stardust, Love, and Chaos" is available on Spotify, Bandcamp, Apple Music, Amazon.

Lyric Video 'Seasons' here.

In additional news, Juliet Ruin will be supporting Ukraine's Jinjer in Calgary on October 29th and Edmonton on October 30th.

The band adds:

"We as a band are absolutely honoured to be opening up for Jinjer, we are all fans and their meteoric rise has been a pleasure to watch."

Ukrainian Modern Metallers Jinjer release new single & official music video, “On The Top”

12/10/2019

Picture

Ukrainian modern metal frontrunners Jinjer have returned with a vengeance! Today, Jinjer turns heads with a new music video for the gut-punching anthem “On The Top”. Never failing to deliver an unforgettable hook, “On The Top” slinks along a punishing groove before soaring into melodic passages – just another example of what listeners can expect to be met with on the band’s upcoming full-length album, Macro, out October 25, 2019 via Napalm Records.

“While one is climbing, the rest is falling down in the name of profit – Is it lonely on the top?”

Jinjer:- says about “On The Top”:

“Have you ever felt like a rat in a rat race? It seems like the world is spinning faster and faster every single day and everyone is going crazy searching for this thing called success. However, we tend to forget that real happiness has nothing to do with it- not a career, achievements, money etc. Is it really worth climbing up the ladder just to be ON to the TOP if there is nothing or no one there for you in the end? It's OK to want to be the best you can possibly be but just remember that success has its price but it's up to you to decide how much you are willing to pay for it. It’s your choice to make but your burden to bare …”

Watch “On The Top” HERE

In less than 10 years, the four-piece progressive groove metal wrecking machine known as Jinjer have carved their very own place in the heavy metal landscape and are poised to go even further in 2019 and beyond. Hailing from Donetsk, this Ukrainian musical oddity formed in 2009 but consider the official start of the band with the addition of the incredible vocalist and femme fatale, Tatiana Shmailyuk, in 2010. Since then, Jinjer have been nominated and won the Best Ukrainian Metal Act award for Best Ukrainian Metal Band multiple times.

This year’s Micro EP was received with open arms by fans and critics alike, climbed to the top of many industry charts and radio station lists worldwide and once again showcased the musical depth and songwriting talent of the band, as well as Tatiana's amazing vocal range. The band will build upon these successes with Macro.

JINJER is:

Tatiana Shmailyuk - vocals
Roman Ibramkhalilov - guitars
Eugene Abdukhanov - bass
Vladislav Ulasevish - drums

October 18th will see up and coming Moldova-based dynamic metal outfit Infected Rain release their fourth album, entitled Endorphin, via Napalm Records.

The band – fronted by extraordinary multi-talented vocalist Lena – has just unleashed a third video clip, to the brutal-yet-eerily melodic track Black Gold.

Watch Infected Rain's brand new music video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gswQRa9iXJg

Says the band:-

"Should we be or do what they say? What is the true beauty nowadays? How many times did you ask yourself these questions? How many times did you have the doubt! The frustration is real.

It’s been really hard to hold back from the urge to share with you one more song before we release our album Endorphin. Ladies and gentleman please enjoy every shade of Black Gold."

Fierce screams and growls, heavy riffs and pounding beats combined with ingenious samples make Infected Rain’s style an energetic blend of the best modern metal styles the heavy music scene currently has to offer. The band was formed in 2008 and made their first appearance on stage in the same year, performing a concert dedicated to Slayer. Countless shows all over Europe and Russia followed, alongside headlining slots at Europe's big festival names, until they gained the well-deserved attention of leading rock and metal label Napalm Records. Infected Rain has released two EPs, several singles and three critically acclaimed, full-length records to date. This autumn is set to be filled with a new soundtrack when modern melodic metal high-flyers CYHRA release their sophomore No Halos In Hell will see the light of day on November 15th via Nuclear Blast. Today, the band unveils its first album trailer, in which Jake E, Jesper Strömblad, Euge Valovirta  and Alex Landenburg tell their own story about how they first discovered their musical talents and nurtured those talents. Watch the new teaser, directed, filmed and edited by KJ Melgoza, here: youtu.be/fXVQeGSxHbQ

No Halos In Hell will be available as 2 CD digipak, black vinyl or download on November 15th. Pre-order now: nblast.de/Cyhra-NoHalosInHell

Founded by vocalist Jake E (ex-AMARANTHE) and guitarist Jesper Strömblad (ex-IN FLAMES),  CYHRA has gone from being reminiscent of the duo's former bands to having a unique identity. The addition of guitarist Euge Valovirta (ex-SHINING) as a full member has raised the creative process to a level where, according to Jake E, "Everyone is playing to the point of what is best for the song”. No Halos In Hell is one of those rare albums that defies being neatly placed in a genre box: delivering tunes that are both heavy and dynamic, the record is loaded with melodic vocal hooks and musical earworms.

Brazilian modern groove thrashers Killer release "Exuding Hate" music video

3/10/2019

Picture

Brazil's modern groove thrashers Killery have just released a new video for the track "Exuding Hate", which is taken off from their debut album "Ready For Apocalypse".

The idea behind "Exuding Hate" is to present the viewer with a story unfolding in the background. This is a track that talks about repression, war and civil strife and how the violence used by authorities generates hate. Killery sought in Pitter Cutrim's nuances and vocal range the representation for this feeling, which can be very complex to represent lyrically.

Watch the video at this location: https://youtu.be/JNJAdQuDSqA

Killery is currently part of VAULT LAB Recordings roster.
