Sweden's Hillbilly metallers Fearless release 'Blood Sweat & Shine' music video

After spending some time with the brothers relatives in the deep south of Louisiana bayou, taught how to make moonshine, fixin old rusty cars, fishing and of course playing some music with the locals. They went back home to deliver a heavy mix of hard rock, metal, hardcore and a twist of blues or as they say Hillbilly metal.

Their debut single “Hillbilly For Life” was self released in 2015, produced by Kristoffer Folin at Purple Skull Media in Stockholm. Followed by a music video available on YouTube. Since then they have been touring around Sweden and played at some of the biggest Rock Festivals such at Sweden Rock Festival and Skogsröjet. They also toured the USA in 2015 travelling from east to west through of course the south.

Now the fearsome Swedes unleash their new music video 'Blood Sweat & Shine' - watch here

Fearless present a full energy live show hard to forget topped with self-designed instruments in the form of a pitchfork guitar, a shovel bass and a tractor like drum kit. Fearless musical influences are: Hellyeah, Black Label Society, Texas Hippie Coalition, Lamb of God, Pantera, Five Finger Death Punch, Rob Zombie, Kiss.

Crack open that bottle of Jack Daniels and chew on some straw.

Brazil's Holocausto set release date for new Nuclear War Now! album

28/1/2017

Picture

Nuclear War Now! Productions sets March 1st the international release date for Holocausto's War Metal Massacre. It is extremely rare that a band is able to recapture a sound that it first established over 30 years ago but then lost in the process of its evolution on later recordings. With its original line-up in the mid-1980s, Holocausto was instrumental in the development of the unique strain of black metal that emerged from the Minas Gerais region of Brazil at that time. Known as the original "deathcore" to the most seasoned veterans of that scene and those who have come to understand it from a historical perspective, this variety of metal shares nothing in common with the abomination that the term has come to more typically represent in the present day. Instead, it is the savage brand of black metal, primarily popularized by the infamous Sarcófago, which repeatedly pushes itself to the brink of total musical disintegration before somehow managing to resist its own self-annihilation.

Holocausto’s role in the emergence of Brazilian deathcore notwithstanding, the band largely abandoned this sound following the release of its incomparable debut album, Campo de Exterminio, in 1987. What followed was a period of many years of experimentation with a more standard variety of thrash metal over the course of four subsequent albums. Regardless of whatever reasons may have led to this stylistic mutation, the chaotic violence of their earlier songwriting and performance was effectively condemned to a state of dormancy that few would have predicted to ever re-emerge.

Now, three decades after the release of the essential Warfare Noise compilation, on which the band contributed two of its earliest songs, Holocausto triumphantly returns to its earlier pioneering sound with its original line-up of Rodrigo Fuhrer (vocals), Valério Exterminator (guitars), Anderson Guerrilheiro (bass and vocals), and Nedson Warfare (drums). Nuclear War Now! is honoured to have been chosen to play an integral role in Holocausto’s resurrection, with this release of War Metal Massacre, the band’s sixth album, but only the first since its debut to follow in the Minas Gerais deathcore tradition.

Although it is short by modern standards, this album overcompensates in intensity for what it lacks in length, delivering one of the most remarkable and authentic recordings of a reunited metal band in memory. The first three songs, which comprise Side A of the LP version, are re-recordings of the "Massacre" demo track from 1985 and the two tracks first committed to tape on the Warfare Noise compilation from 1986. A quick comparison between one of these reinterpreted songs and its original version immediately verifies the band’s return to its roots. Even more importantly, the three new songs on the album confirm Holocausto’s ability to have recaptured its original, feral songwriting capacity.

Immediately following the ominous air-raid sirens of the intro to Side B, "Eu Sou a Guerra" launches into the same unbridled havoc that characterized their early recordings and one which reflects the orchestrated chaos of true warfare. This aural fury, which appropriately earns the band’s sound the often-misplaced moniker of "war metal," continues throughout the remainder of the album, a fact which is certain to please the strictest conservationists of old Brazilian black metal. In short, War Metal Massacre heralds the second-coming of a band and sound that until now had been expected to exist only as a relic of the past.

Démonos reveal animated video from Iron Bonehead debut

28/1/2017

Indian black metallers Démonos have revealed a morbid 'n' archaic animated video for the track "A Clarity of Indignation." The track hails from the band's recent debut mini-album, From Sacred to Profane, jointly released on CD format by Iron Bonehead Productions in conspiracy with Tour De Garde. Directed by Ricardo Jabardo for Tropikal Dream Studios, the art across the video comprises encrypted symbolic echoes of an ancient period ranging from Aztec civilization in conjunction with the medieval period of inquisitions. View Démonos' video for "A Clarity of Indignation" in its entirety HERE.

Hailing from India, Démonos are a black metal duo who derive ancient esoteric wisdom from the occult, nature, and theology. Démonos reflect the futility of ever-spawning man-made doctrines rising out of those that dictate the race of most humankind. Philosophically, both the sound and imagery is aimed to thwart all known dictates of empty societal conformity as a whole. This is to be achieved and practised through hymns and transmissions ebbing beyond human planes and across endless celestial realms.

Led by the entity Démonos Obscurís, who after years of malefic and obscure presence in the Indus underground, has now embarked upon a sonic journey to conjure dark apocalyptic music featuring collaborations with artists of analogous equivalence. Across four tracks in 23 minutes, From Sacred to Profane conjures an avant-garde atmosphere firmly entrenched in the purest black arts. It is a sound both ageless and timeless, the commingling of demonology and the occult spread forth by enshrouded parapsychological spirit-beings. Now, with the alliance between Iron Bonehead and Tour De Garde, Démonos are prepared to lift their veil and traverse the cosmos with From Sacred to Profane, which can be streamed in its entirety at the band's Bandcamp HERE. View their video for "A Clarity of Indignation" in its entirety HERE.

Wintersun announces crowdfunding campaign!

27/1/2017

Picture

Last week, the Finnish kings of epic melodic death, Wintersun, unveiled the track list of their third studio album 'The Forest Seasons' that will see the light of day in 2017. This new full-length album of 53 minutes follows the concept of Vivaldi's 'The Four Seasons', but will of course feature typical epic death metal on four massive tracks. And although the album is already finished, front man and mastermind Jari Mäenpää now needs the support of his loyal fans:

"There will be a Wintersun crowdfunding starting March 1st. During last autumn, we had long and productive negotiations with our record label Nuclear Blast and we finalized it in November 2016. We came to a good solution, a win-win deal that will benefit everyone - Wintersun, Nuclear Blast and especially the fans! This means that we will do the crowdfunding and it will include our new album The Forest Seasons!

The purpose of this crowdfunding is to build the Wintersun HQ studio. As some of you may know this has been in the plans for a long time. It is our long time goal and dream. Building the studio is absolutely essential in order to finish TIME II and produce our future albums as fast as possible and with the best production. All the money we raise will go directly to Wintersun, 100%, which we will use for building the Wintersun Headquarters.

This will be the biggest crowdfunding you've ever seen in the metal scene! It will be a different kind of crowdfunding than usually. We are not going to offer dozens of different items from guitar picks to used socks for a thousand bucks. We're going to cut all the crap and only offer one very valuable perk! That's right! It will be a massive Wintersun Crowdfunding Package called the Forest Package and it will have lots of great Wintersun content including our new album The Forest Seasons. You will be blown away!

The Forest Package is huge and otherwise it would be very expensive, but we are going to offer it with to very affordable price in our crowdfunding. So you guys will get great value for your money and enjoy the new album like it should be experienced, with the best quality! The best thing is that all of the content is 100% done, so you don't have to wait for many months. It will be basically a pre-order for our new album.

This way you get the new Wintersun album the easiest way, with the best quality and with the best price and you'll help us get to the next level, so we can produce albums foryou guys faster and with the best production! So this is a WIN-WIN for everyone!

The crowdfunding will take place on Indiegogo between March 1st - 31st. It will last only one month, so you guys need to be prepared! Get those credit cards and PayPal accounts ready!

Thank you! "

Indian epic death / black metal band Demonic Resurrection have finally premiered a song off their upcoming album titled 'Dashavatar' via a lyric video that got simultaneously premiered at the following sites worldwide -

Rolling Stone (India)
Terrorizer (UK)
No Clean Singing (US)

One of India's longest running bands, Demonic Resurrection, are back with their fifth full length album and it's a unique take on the avatars of Lord Vishnu according to Indian mythology. Each song is dedicated to a different avatar and the artwork and lyrics are indicative of the same. 'Dashavatar' follows the band's trademark epic black/death metal style that the band have cemented over the decades. The fans won't be disappointed and at the same time this is an ambitious leap forward. Tasteful solos accentuate the soaring riffs, all impeccably structured to bring to life stories from ancient Hindu mythology. Suitably atmospheric and tempered to perfection, this album holds its own in an era of ever-increasing individuality.
