Sliptrick Records are pleased to announce the signing of the Israeli Thrash / Groove Metal band Sintax. After years of performing all across Israel on their own ticket and playing alongside international acts, members from Jerusalem’s godfather of thrash, Showrchtsechaye, and from DeuSphera, decided to come together to form Sintax in late 2013. Considered one of the best live metal acts in Israel, Sintax have also toured throughout Europe and established a solid fan base across many countries. Reviews describe them as heavy metal thunder, a strong punch of groove and unique raw energy, a vicious blow to the face, messy and terrifying and brutal, as the lead singer’s hoarse intensity leads the listeners through anarchy, politics, religion, philosophy, war, sex, and more. The band was featured on the Israeli Headbangers Ball and released their first album, Sway For A Better Day, in 2015. The new album Nano 3000, featuring Yoav Gruper (guitar), Slava Kishka (bass), and Nir Baruch (drums) and founding members Roi Illouz (guitar) and Yehi Zaken (vocals), will get it’s worldwide release via Sliptrick Records in 2021. Rob Zombie announces 7th studio album and releases new video for "The Triumph Of King Freak"30/10/2020 Industrial Metal veteran Rob Zombie announces his seventh studio album The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy, to be released March 12th, 2021 via Nuclear Blast. The LP marks his first new album in nearly five years. The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy is a classic Zombie album to its core with high-energy rages like “The Eternal Struggles of the Howling Man” and “Get Loose” to heavy-groove thumpers like “Shadow Of The Cemetery Man” and “Shake Your Ass-Smoke Your Grass.” The new album is produced by ZEUSS. Listen to the new first single “The Triumph of King Freak (A Crypt of Preservation and Superstition)” HERE. Rob Zombie releases an exclusive 7” available immediately, featuring the new single and B-side, “The Serenity of Witches.” Order the new single and pre-order The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy HERE.
As a rock icon and film maker with a unique vision, Rob Zombie has continuously challenged audiences as he stretches the boundaries of both music and film. Rob Zombie is a 7-time Grammy nominee, has sold fifteen million albums worldwide to date, and is the only artist to experience unprecedented success in both music and film as the writer / director of eight feature films with a worldwide gross totalling more than $150 million. His re-imagining of John Carpenter’s Halloween in 2007 debuted at #1 and still holds a Box Office record for Labor Day Weekend. Rob Zombie Online Architects will release their ninth studio record 'For Those That Wish To Exist' on 26th February via Epitaph. The self-produced record arrives as the follow-up to the band’s critically acclaimed 2018 release 'Holy Hell', which took a look at the pain and despair that lay at the heart of losing a brother, band mate and best friend in Tom Searle, the group’s founding guitarist. On 'For Those That Wish To Exist', Architects examine the part we are all playing in the world’s slow destruction, and tackle the biggest questions facing the future of our planet. Such concerns that have long been prevalent in the music of a band who have continually championed and shared their platform with causes such as Sea Shepherd, are outspoken critics of barbaric exercises such as fox hunting, and who focus on sustainability in everything from their touring to merch production. The record’s 15-tracks hang in a limbo between energising positivity that it is not too late to correct our collective course, and a paralysing negativity of defeatism; where hope and despondency are bed-fellows triggered daily by the simple act of existence. A reflection of human condition, 'For Those That Wish To Exist' calls for all of us to rise to challenge established models and strive for a collective betterment. “This album was me looking at our inability to change to a way of life that would sustain the human race and save the planet,” summarises principal songwriter Dan Searle. “I wanted to look in the mirror and ask ourselves the question of what are <we> going to do, as opposed to trying to point the finger at politicians. Change has to start on a personal level. The world has developed a culture of wanting someone else to deal with it, when we need to take our own responsibility. It has to start there.” The band recently shared the first glimpse at the forthcoming record with the release of the first single, “Animals.” WATCH THE MUSIC VIDEO FOR “ANIMALS” NOW

Descent features 5 tracks of varied material, recorded during the same sessions as the Ascent EP & once again the 5 tracks were mastered by Dan Swano at Unisound. Artwork fo the EP was created by Slava Gerj. Formed in early 2016, The Grief features members from Cork-based metal bands Corr Mhóna, For Ruin and Soothsayer some of whose members had originally played together in a Katatonia tribute band (Katatonik). The Grief plays a mixture of doom-tinged metal with influences from many of the classic British doom metal bands & made their initial live appearances in 2017 before recording an initial unreleased demo with the initial line up of the band:
When the drum position was vacated by Farrow (who moved abroad), the band decided to focus on recording their first 9 songs during 2019 at Murphy’s home studio in North Cork. Recordings were completed in late 2019 with Murphy performing the drum parts until new drummer Con Doyle joined the band in March 2020. The track is taken from their new album 'Strangers', which will be released on October 30th, 2020 via M-Theory Audio. The YouTube video can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/ibPVGP3mIJ0 “Today we dream together, hand in hand we gather memories to pack when we go, TOMORROW I’LL BE GONE” Vocalist Noa Gruman states that:- "You have your own dreams and ambitions, and sometimes you may choose to achieve them by yourself. Gone is told by one who left. It shows the bitter sweet side of caring deeply about someone but having to leave them for your own personal needs. The song is fast, exciting, feels like a soundtrack to accompany a big adventure, and the choruses are repetitive and catchy." "In the video we see the band playing together by a concrete wall representing today. They are surrounded by paint cans lying on the ground. Suddenly, the video takes a sharp turn and the musicians appear each in their own unique location by the sea, in a bright colorful dream-like scene representing tomorrow. Then back to playing together by the concrete wall, and so on alternately, until we get to the instrumental section. From there it becomes a big explosion of color smears and splashes, alongside musicians playing in a dark closed scene, then back to the sea, back to the concrete, and ending in a beautiful sea painting... on the concrete." Mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Devin Townsend, Arch Enemy), “Strangers” was written and composed jointly by singer Noa Gruman and composer Orr Didi, who also collaborated with Gruman on SCARDUST’s full-length debut “Sands of Time” – which was hailed by Prog Magazine as “extraordinary” – and their 2015 EP “Shadow.” The album features guest appearances from German folk musician Patty Gurdy, as well as vocals by the Hellscore choir and England’s prestigious Westbrook Hay Prep School Chamber Choir. Pre-orders for CD and limited-edition gray smoke vinyl editions of “Strangers” are now live at: https://smarturl.com/scardust2020 Scardust also recently launched the “Mist Cover Challenge,” an invitation for fans to play or sing along with the final minute of the new song “Mist,” the closing track of “Strangers.” To enter the challenge, follow the instructions at https://scardust.co/mist-cover-challenge/ and upload your video anywhere on social media, tagging the band and including the hashtag #scardustmist. Entries close on Oct. 25, and winners will be announced by the band during a special livestream on Nov. 1 that will also feature a live performance and a Q&A with special guest Patty Gurdy. Israel’s leading progressive metal group, Scardust has performed at such major festivals as Ramblin’ Man Fair (UK), Metaldays (Slovenia) and Midi (China). In addition, the band hosts the annual “Scarfest” event in their home country, where they’ve also appeared alongside the likes of Therion, Epica and Symphony X. Taken from their upcoming album, which is expected to be released in 2021, the new song continues the tradition of English language songs started by their 2019 album, “A New Dawn Awaits”. Main songwriter, bandleader and keyboardist Attila Ádám shared his thoughts about the new song, the shooting of the music video and their future plans below. Tales Of Evening - Csak én Látom (Official Music Video) (Hungarian version) youtu.be/D44YNxJKjJ4 Tales Of Evening - Leap of Faith (Official Music Video) (English version) youtu.be/1GwHQxd6JBY “The base of our new song, “Csak én látom” has been finished for a while now, but we had to delay the release several times due to the pandemic. We definitely wanted to publish “Csak én látom”, because it’s very important for us to always release something between the albums. The feedback for our latest album, “A New Dawn Awaits” has been very positive, and while touring with Rhapsody Of Fire this spring, it’s also been proven that international audiences are quite fond of those songs as well. On that tour we had the chance to share our music live with wonderful people of various countries. English version of the song, “Leap Of Faith” was recorded to make this kind of international interaction possible once again. As many of us are from Zala county, Hungary, this music video was shot and directed by Balázs Gerócs at the Hevesi Sándor Theatre at Zalaegerszeg, and also in the village where I was born, Tornyiszentmiklós. Although the song is unusually short, it is especially tight and modern in sound. It is thought-provoking and also carries a strong message, hence we hope it gets the attention by fans and radios we think it deserves. It is also the first song we’ve recorded with our new bass guitarist, Dávid Szegedi, who’s also a student of the Music Studio of Kőbánya. 2021 is Tales Of Evening’s 10th birthday, and we’re working hard to celebrate it with a brand new album. This song is it’s first herald, so we’re positive it will become something truly special.” www.talesofevening.com/ www.facebook.com/talesofevening/ www.instagram.com/talesofevening/ twitter.com/talesofevening www.facebook.com/HammerMusicHungary/ Finnish Folk Metallers Korpiklaani announce new album "Jylhä" & release new single 'Leväluhta'25/10/2020 Korpiklaani today announce their new studio album Jylhä, which will be released on February 5th via Nuclear Blast Records. Jylhä (which has no direct translation, but can be described as majestic and also wild or rugged in a strong, beautiful way) will be available as digital album, CD, black vinyl and grass green vinyl [limited to 300 pieces]. The pre-order will start soon. In celebration of the happy news, the band has released a music video for the first single 'Leväluhta' today that you can watch here: https://youtu.be/DNzHB9hqiKU Korpiklaani are unique - their blend of Finnish folk music and heavy metal is like no other. Like traditional folk music that tells tales of joy, heartbreak and stories of old, Korpiklaani brings new life to these tales adding the high energy of rock‘n'roll and heavy metal. What you hear on record is what you hear live; authentic, honest and a lot of fun. Korpiklaani is a natural representation of our journey in this life, bringing music and emotions that can have you dancing all night, to quiet moments of melancholy. Jylhä continues this journey with a collection of tales of folklore, nature, celebration and three stories of murder, including the infamous Lake Bodom murders. Singer Jonne states:- "Jylhä is not just a battering heavy metal record, it's also our most volatile full-length album to date. For example, some of the new songs feature energetic punk rock influences and there are even some audible laid-back reggae-rhythms, like our first single, Leväluhta." Leväluhta (or Levänluhta) is a spring in Isokyrö. The remains of approximately a hundred Iron Age bodies have been found buried there, and it remains unclear why the deceased were laid to rest in the spring. In the story, the narrator himself is one of the buried, floating in the lap of clear water beyond time and knowledge. The video tells us a fictional story about what may have happened in the mystical Leväluhta. Video Credits:

The filthy bastards in Undergang are preparing to unleash their fifth full-length album of sewer death metal, "Aldrig I Livet". The first taste of "Aldrig I Livet" comes with the official music video for album track "Menneskeæder." Watch the video at this location. "Aldrig I Livet" will be out on Dark Descent Records/Me Saco Un Ojo Records December 4 on digital, CD, cassette and vinyl. Pre-order the album at darkdescentrecords.bandcamp.com/album/aldrig-i-livet Since 2008, Denmark’s Undergang have been pursuing the deepest, darkest depths of total death metal. Steeped in the classics, the quartet aren’t so much “old school” like so many HM-2 worshippers nowadays as they are simply old-sounding, brazenly brandishing a sound that nods to early Finnish death metal, slimy doom-death as equally as timeless goregrind. It’s a sound that’s garnered the band a legion of devotees across the world, and justifiably so. And while it’s been three interminably long years since their last album, Misantropologi, at long last do Undergang arrive with their long-awaited fifth full-length: "Aldrig I Livet". Simply put, this is Undergang at their very best, subtly striving for new twists on their characteristic sound whilst making that sound more engaging than ever before. Graced with utterly crushing production, "Aldrig I Livet" is undoubtedly the band’s most ominous record to date, rooting among the ruins of the most desolate doom-death committed to tape and warping that wreckage with slithering solos that seem to creep like tendrils across an inter-dimensional portal. It’s a sick and sickening slog through the sewers of the subconscious – forecasted by the cover art, once again courtesy of vocalist/guitarist David Mikkelsen – and Undergang effortlessly lumber forth with a swagger that’s startling to behold. Even this many years into their celebrated catalog, the quartet show no signs of relinquishing their crown as Denmark’s premier death metal champions, and "Aldrig I Livet" is disgusting proof. Cover art for "Aldrig I Livet" by D. Torturdød. The video for Menneskeæder was filmed and edited by Martin Goltermann/Muskedonner Medier. UNDERGANG is: A. Dødshjælp- Drums D. The song, "(Becoming) One with the Aether," is streaming now at this location. Dark Descent Records will release Floating in Timeless Streams November 20 on CD, digital and vinyl. Pre-order the album HERE. Lie In Ruins will unleash their most intense release to date with Floating in Timeless Streams. Throughout these 8 hellish tracks, Lie In Ruins twists their cavernous sound into new, more violent forms. "(Becoming) One with the Aether" is the second track released off of Floating in Timeless Streams. The album's first single, “Spectral Realms of Fornication” is streaming at this location. Six years after Lie In Ruin's last full-length (2014's Towards Divine Death), Floating in Timeless Streams sees a more streamlined approach from the band. A departure from the 70+ minute onslaught of Towards Divine Death, Floating in Timeless Streams delivers a more calculated attack, clocking in at 41 lethal minutes. Floating in Timeless Streams continues to highlight the tremendous guitar work of Roni Ärling and Tuomas Kulmala, their mastery backed by new addition of Corpsessed drummer Jussi-Pekka Manner. The album is rounded out by the tormented and guttural vocals of Roni Sahari (Desolate Shrine). Lie In Ruin’s magnum opus, Floating in Timeless Streams is arguably the most brutal album of 2020. Finnish death metal's finest! Line-up: Roni Ärling- Guitars Tuomas Kulmala - Guitars / Vocals Roni Sahari - Bass/Vocals Jussi-Pekka Manner - Drums / Backing vocals |
