Brazilian Black / Heavy Metallers Hellish Grave stream new album at "Decibel" magazine's website31/5/2019 Black / heavy metallers Hellish Grave stream the entirety of their highly anticipated second album, Hell No Longer Awaits, at Decibel magazine's website. Set for international release on May 31st via Helldprod Records, hear Hellish Grave's Hell No Longer Awaits in its entirety exclusively HERE. Hailing from Brazil, Hellish Grave formed in 2011 with the intent to play blackthrash influenced by great masters of the style, such as Vulcano, Sodom, Celtic Frost, Venom, and Nifelheim, as well as classic heavy metal acts like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Motorhead, and Mercyful Fate. After the release of a demo and an EP, in 2016, the band released their debut album, Worship Macabre, via Kill Again Records, which is also the label home for Violator, The Force, Attomica, etc. Emboldened by that momentum and striking while the iron's red fucking hot, Hellish Grave return with an even stronger second album, Hell No Longer Awaits, via fans-from-the-beginning Helldprod Records. Pushing forward a more unique identity with the force of an iron fist, Hellish Grave here aren't easily labelled as simply "blackthrash"; their songwriting chops have deepened, and they've found an ever-elusive balance between tight execution and Bachanalian wildness. More to the point, they're delivering fucking ANTHEMS that are more accurately described as BLACK heavy metal: the headbang reigns supreme, and it's supremely evil. Not for nothing is the album devilishly titled Hell No Longer Awaits, such is their slaying... Recorded & mixed in professional studio Da Tribo - where the likes of Krisiun, Ratos de Porão (RDP), and Torture Squad have recorded, among others - Hell No Longer Awaits is truly the coming-of-age record Hellish Grave have hinted at since their not-inconsiderable beginnings. Graced with cover art and layout by Fernando JFL (Damn Youth, Flagelador, Violator, Etc), Hellish Grave's second strike is the deadliest! A few weeks after the official release of the effort, Swiss Pagan / Folk metal band NORVHAR just shared their whole 'KAUNA' EP for full-stream on YouTube thanks to the courtesy on the Unknown Melodeath Channel. In other news, both CD & Digital editions are still available on Bandcamp and the legal streaming services. Stream the 'KAUNA' EP on YouTube | Order your digital / physical copy on Bandcamp ..For the record... Formed in 2016 from the ashes of the band Harmoniks, NORVHAR is oriented towards pagan / folk / epic metal. It consists of six skilled musicians, all of them with stage experiences. Those six friends offer a music which is inspired, epic, melodic, but which also makes you want to drink beers until the end of times. Vastly inspired by Tolkien’s universe, but also by Nordic mythology, the texts are dense and deep, filled with adventures and battles, with mystical tales and latent alcoholism. The folk melodies, sometimes played on the keyboard, sometime on the flute or on acoustic instruments, intermingle with powerful and sharp guitars, all punctuated by intense bass and battle-like drums. The vocals, straight out of the plains of Valhalla are calling the warriors to battle by their unquenchable fire. NORVHAR is going to release an album at the beginning of 2019. For fans of Moonsorrow, Ensiferum, Equilibrium, Finntroll, Wintersun. https://www.facebook.com/Norvhar/ Finnish Black Metallers Malum stream new album 'Purity Through Fire' at NoCleanSinging.com31/5/2019 Finnish black metal elite Malum stream the entirety of their highly anticipated third album, Legion, at heavily trafficked web-portal NoCleanSinging.com. Set for international release on May 31st via Purity Through Fire, hear Malum's Legion in its entirety exclusively HERE. An ever-growing force in the forever-fertile Finnish black metal underground, Malum have become a Satanic power in their own right since their formation in 2013. From there, the band have committed a prolific stream of atrocities, including two celebrated albums - 2015's Crowned with the Serpent Sun and 2017's Night of the Luciferian Light - three EPs, and three split recordings, alongside such comrades as Lathspell, Insane Vesper, Sacrificium Carmen, and Sarkrista. The latter two bands joined with Malum for the spiritually aligned split LP Trinity of Luciferian Illumination, which was released by Purity Through Fire in late 2018. Now joining the esteemed ranks of Purity Through Fire following the preview Terror Rehearsal earlier this year, Malum are prepared to make their grandest statement yet with Legion. Titularly elegant in its simplicity, Legion storms forward from its very first seconds with that paradigmatic "freezing fire" so crucial to classic Finnish black metal. But whereas so many past but especially present have sought to dilute or "diversify" the intrinsic power of that idiom - and FAILED, obviously - Malum proudly hold high the torch of traditional black metal values, striding to the head of the flagging pack to lead Finnish black metal back to its former glory. However, labor under no assumption that such is shorthand for rehashed ideas and general go-nowhere inertia. Naturally, Malum's Finnishness is immediately felt, but within those chosen boundaries do the band conjure new spells, new manners of communication, keeping the magick and language alive by imaginatively working within those proud parameters. What results is a deceptively anthemic 38 minutes that show Malum can move dynamically from spiraling speed to ominous march, always exhibiting a passion that's blanching (and inspiring) to behold. Also witness the band move into more mystical realms with such tracks as "Luciferian Legion." Adorned with unforgettable artwork courtesy of R. Ärling, Malum have truly arrived with Legion! Hear the full arrival exclusively HERE, courtesy of NoCleanSinging.com. Malum will perform only a few selected gigs in 2019; booking requests can be sent HERE. www.facebook.com/malumfinland www.purity-through-fire.com Start your engine and speed into the night! The songs were included on their most recent and critically acclaimed LP titled 'MAI'. Click here to watch the new music video for "Mulan" and "Oleander" on Dreambound Demonstrating the band's ability to fuse crushing djent and melodic metalcore, both "Mulan" and "Oleander" are absolute bangers with an equal 'go crazy in the moshpit' to 'sing along during the chorus' appeal. As the rhythm section builds up a ferocious metallic storm, vocalist Duong Bui breaks through the clouds harnessing both brutal screams and lush cleans. This music video captures the raw and energetic performance by the act. Windrunner is a progressive metalcore quintet hailing from Hanoi, Vietnam. Founded in early 2015 from the merger of two renowned Vietnamese metalcore bands: Epione and Alive In Sight, Windrunner quickly made a name for themselves with their unique blend of rhythm and melodies, groovy yet intricate riffs, soothing ambience, melodic guitar lines, coupled with catchy vocal choruses from female vocalist Duong Bui. Their debut EP “Vui” was released in June 2015 and received positive acclaims from around the world. Since then, Windrunner has actively toured around Vietnam, South East Asia and South Korea, supporting bands such as Attila, Secrets, Benighted, Hiss From The Moat, Coldburn, King Ly Chee, Born From Pain, Earthists, and many others. Most recently, they served as the opener for Emmure. Undoer hail from Turkey, and formed in 2017. Soon, they set to work on their first public recording, the three-song/22-minute Survival is a Myth EP. Mature beyond the band's meagre year of existence, Survival is a Myth was a shock-wave of sleek and scathing black metal, brimming with a startlingly amount of violence and dynamics in equal measure. Initially self-released digitally, Undoer's first recording was so exceedingly accomplished, Sun & Moon simply had to release it on a physical format, and thus endeavoured to bring the band into their proudly exclusive stable. Alas, the international metal underground shall now witness the fire, fury, and furore of Undoer as Survival is a Myth is unleashed on a worldwide scale. The EP is ominously titled: experiencing the unhinged 'n' undulating attack of Undoer is not so much a matter of listening as it is survival, for the power-trio overload the listener's circuitry was a barrage of tense 'n' terrorizing decibels. And yet, this isn't (ultra)violence for its own sake; there's a wealth of texture and nuance coursing beneath the rotten, rusty gleam of their razor-bladed onslaught, a remarkably advanced grasp of songwriting and sound detail. As such, Undoer exhibit a palatable modern aspect to their black metal, unshackling themselves from the regressive tethers of the past - although, if one has to make references, the Moonfog school of future-shock black metal around the turn of the millennium is a favourable one, to say the very least. The past has already happened, its paths blazed and burned away. Now only lies the way forward, and there Undoer begin a new path with Survival is a Myth.
