Serbian Progressive / Symphonic Metallers Aurium sign to Art Gates Records; new album out in June8/2/2020 Arts Gates Records are excited to share the news of the beginning of their partnership with Serbian progressive symphonic rock & metal band Aurium. Lead by the captivating Dragica Maletic, this 5 piece musical act combines heavy riffs, beautiful atmospheres with incredible orchestral arrangements in a unique way. Its name was inspired by the medical term 'Tinnitus Aurium' describing sounds of physiological or pathological origin, which may or may not always be perceived in consciousness. In the words of the band:- “When the creative part of the album is done, the entire administrative side awaits. As any up-and-coming band surely knows, it takes so many emails, phone calls, negotiations and false hopes before you finally find the perfect fit, the label you can trust with your hard work. In 2020, we struck gold and gladly joined the AGR family. After a refreshingly streamlined and transparent correspondence, our musical journey finally started in safe hands.” After releasing 2 albums "Still Life" (2015) and "The Silent Moon" (2016) and touring all over Serbia and Bosnia & Herzegovina, Aurium will release their new album through Art Gates Records in June this year! Expect an amazing new single to be revealed this month. www.artgatesrecords.com www.facebook.com/auriumofficial

* Later withdrawn by request of nominee. Dear Heavy Metal Maniacs, here's a statement from guitarist Alexandra of Jenner! "Today is a big day for us! In addition to celebrating 6 years since the band has been formed, we have many more news for you. Since many of you are eager for new music, we’re proud to announce that our new release, EP “The Test Of Time” will be released on February 20, 2020, the same day as our previous release. Of course, via Inferno Records! We’re extremely pleased we have an opportunity and honor to once again work with a man like Fabien Pinneteau. Also, another thing that hasn’t changed is collaboration with Luka Matković and Citadela Sound Production Studio. As previously announced, the EP is consisted of 3 songs, "Night Without Dawn", "The Test Of Time" featuring Emil Ivošević (Alexandra's boyfriend and singer of Sigma Epsilon), and a cover of song “Young & Proud“ by Demoniac (thanks Ljubo Marjanović for permission). The other thing you may notice is that the band continues to work as a trio. In conversation with our singer Anđelina Mitić, we came to the conclusion that there’s no more energy and enthusiasm in the band like it used to be... so we decided that Alexandra takes the microphone. We wish Anđelina all the best in the future! These 6 years have brought us many beautiful experiences and memories that we’ll remember forever. Another change you may notice is that a new bassist, Katarina Henc, is playing with us. This way we welcome her to the band! Our bass player, Nevena Ilić, gave birth about a month ago and brought another beautiful girl to the world. Considering that she’s currently unable to play, her job will be done by Kaća, and the time will tell how the things will further go. On drums is, as before, Marija Dragićević. Since she was on maternity leave during the recording, the drums were recorded by our friend, Nikola Simonović. And finally, we want to thank all the people who helped us get through this rough period and get on with it. You're wonderful! Expect more information from us after the New Year!" Masterful Norwegian storytellers Wardruna sign to Sony Music/Columbia Records for the world, and announce European tour dates for 2020. Dates below with tickets going on sale on 11th October at 10am BST, 11am CEST. Details of the upcoming album shall be revealed in due course. Einar Selvik comments: “Wardruna has been a DIY to-the-bone kind of project since the very beginning. Slowly and patiently evolving. Working hard and always keeping the art itself as the primary decisive factor. This will never change for me, and so having people on our team that also embrace this way of working is paramount. Partnering up with Sony Music / Columbia Records is a new steppingstone for us and I am very confident that this new addition to the team will give us new opportunities to further develop our art and take it to the next level.” 2019 marks ten years since Wardruna’s first release. A series of sold out shows at prestigious concert venues around the world culminate in the highlight of the fall; Wardruna will perform in the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater in the United States, followed by sold out European tour. The group's critically acclaimed “Runaljod” trilogy based on the Nordic runes reached its conclusion and was followed by a stripped-down, fully acoustic album exploring the ancient poetic traditions of the Skalds. This spring, a new chapter for the band will start. New music is being worked on as well as further steps in the band´s concert production. “I don’t wish to reveal too much at this point but can say that we are now deep into the process of writing and recording a new album. When Wardruna gets up from the current studio-hibernation and initiate the concert-year of 2020, it is clearly allowed to hope for new music!" Says Einar Selvik. Influenced by bands from different metal and rock sub genres, and with the idea that metal is supposed to represent raw and powerful emotions, the group combine these styles and motifs with pure metal riffs. Dead Frog was founded by Davor Licic (rhythm guitar and lyrics) and Nikola Pancic (lead guitar and main riff maker) in 2007 and, shortly after, joined by Stefan Pancic (Bass guitar), Milos Pejcic (drums) and Zarko Ristic (vocals). The line up has stayed the same through the years, allowing the members to grow together as musicians and people while making the vision and the sound of the band unique and homogeneous. Coming from a small town in Serbia, Dead Frog have fought to represent and promote the metal sound for years, gaining a specific expression and approach to their music with absolutely no compromise. The biggest asset of this crew is the ability to combine different musical elements and create authentic atmospheres and sounds. In 2019, Dead Frog will present their first full-length album, Burning Bridges via Sliptrick Records. The album contains the very best of Dead Frog’s work so far, a pure 70 minutes from over a decade of creating and producing music. This is the sixth entry in Quasraborn's videography, following five singles off their debut album: The Odyssey to Room 101, Danse Macabre, Escape into Reality, Château d'If and Blood Honey. "Crash Course in Life is about a young, careless, young metalhead who is struck by the cruelness of reality without any warning and forced to grow up. Responsibilities and pain of an adult pressure him in a way he can't handle. He feels a huge gap between what was the core of his identity and what he is today. This is just the first chapter in the album's story, then things start to heat up..." The track hails from the band's highly anticipated debut album, Pra Sila - Vukov Totem, set for international release on September 23rd via Saturnal Records. A work of windswept mysticism and pure pagan fury, Pra Sila - Vukov Totem is one which has been brewing since the ancient days, and is now being released into the modern era with a timelessness that's exciting to behold. Hear All My Sins' "Vukov Totem" in its entirety exclusively HERE. Originating from the southern regions of Europe, Serbia's All My Sins was officially formed by Nav Cosmos and V in the year of 2000. The duo gathered a line-up around the idea of claiming its own place among the already-established second-wave black metal scene. Inspired by the spiritual heritage of the land they come from, the band started making records, each of them conceptually placed around the certain mythological symbols. The first demo, Night Scupltures, was recorded in 2002. It was dedicated to the nocturnal creatures and the driving force behind The Night as a mythological being. The next demo, From the Land of the Shining Past in 2004, focused on the primordial origins of Slavic spirituality and thus was dedicated to The Forest as a mythological entity. After the several line-up changes that followed, All My Sins was, with few exceptions, barely active for the next 12 years. During this time, V continued his activities among the ranks of such international acts as Kawir, Terrörhammer, Ulvdalir, and Triumfall. It was finally in 2016 that Nav Cosmos and V were ready to re-form the band and begin work on a new studio record. The result was the Lunar / Solar EP, which was dedicated to The Sky as a mythic being, centring its basis around the ideas of vanishing, going beyond, and dying as seen through the perspective of southern Slavic mysticism. Black Death Production from Poland released Lunar / Solar on CD in 2017, and the EP quickly got appropriate feedback both from the press and the public. Already in the second half of 2017, All My Sins were once again in the studio, this time working on a full-length conceptually dedicated to The Wolf as a mythological being. Titled Pra Sila – Vukov Totem (rough English translation: "The Primordial Force of the Wolf's Totem"), the album is thematically focused upon the most important and powerful totem in the culture of southern Slavs. Reflecting the world of impenetrable places, the symbol of The Wolf carries different, often opposed meanings. In mythology regarded as the ancient ancestor of Serbian people, a creature with unusual attributes is believed to possess obscure divine powers. The meeting of man and wolf is mystically dangerous, yet magnificent at the same time. It is the encounter with demonic being and concurrently the moment when a man meets his native forefather. In the world of wilderness abandoned by man, contradictory and strong, The Wolf represents everything we are not, unknown and terrifying - it is the perfection of a stranger. With eight individual tracks exploring the metaphysical link between the ancestral prehistoric Wolf and the context of the contemporary age, in order to fully comply with the album's symbolic content, Saturnal Records officially releases All My Sins' Pra Sila – Vukov Totem on the 23rd of September, exactly on the day of the last equinox of 2018. In the meantime, hear the new track "Vukov Totem" in its entirety exclusively HERE.
