Colombian Death Metal masters The Scum have released a lyric video for "No Forgiveness," the second single from the band's forthcoming Dead Eyes EP. This time, the band from Manizales surprises us with a fast and ruthless song that recalls the sounds of pioneers of old school death metal, such as Benediction, Grave, Unleashed, Dismember, and Entombed.

"No Forgiveness" (Lyric Video) - youtu.be/4aOxH-LpnvE

The video was edited by Francisco Henao and Attia Studios in Manizales. The song has a first class production job with the participation of Tomás Skogsberg doing the Mix at Sunlight Studios (Dismember, Carnage, Necrophobic, Grave, Entombed) in Sweden, and mastered by the renowned engineer Andy Classen (Holy Moses, Asphyx, Belphegor, Krisiun, Destruction) at Stage One Studio in Germany.

Dead Eyes will be released May 1 via Wild Noise Productions. The EP was produced in Sunlight Studios by Tomas Skolberg and mastered by Andy Classen at Stage One Studio.

Last month the band released the official video for the title track, which features none other than Dave Ingram of the mighty Benediction. An impressive work directed by Juan Diego Escobar Alzate and Afasia Films, the video, premiered by Slam Worldwide has already 8.000 views on YouTube. Check it out at youtu.be/raJvE8T_Fl4

After one month of voting, nearly 6,000 votes cast and countless sharing across all social media platforms by us and nominees alike, the time has come to announce the winners of the GMA Awards 2019.

But before that happens, there will be a change to how the nominees are cast. For 10 months of the year we will be running a series of rounds from which the 10 finalists will be recognised for the annual event.

The system will work as thus: nominees elected in the month of January are voted for in February... February nominees voted in March, etc and finishes with nominees in October being voted for in November - the finalists will then be voted for across the month of December and into early January 2021; finishing 8th January 2021.

Now that's put out into the open, we can finally reveal the winners of the GMA Awards 2019.

Colombian Black MetallersĀ Daemoni stream new Goathorned album at CVLTNation.com

Picture

Colombian black metal cult Daemoni stream the entirety of their long-awaited second album, Black Tyrant, at heavily trafficked web-portal CVLTNation.com. Set for international release on the symbolic date of June 6th via Goathorned Productions, hear Daemoni's Black Tyrant in its entirety exclusively HERE.

Hailing from Bogotá, Daemoni formed in 2009 and feature members who've cut a wide path in the Colombian extreme metal scene, including such bands as Horncrowned, Nosferatu, Divine Prophanity, Inoculation, and Disenterror among others. Biding their time patiently, the band made their first public recording with their debut album, Stillborn Redeemer, in 2011. No need for a demo, Daemoni burst into the underground with cold, iron-fisted malice here: Stillborn Redeemer tellingly featured a cover of Dark Funeral's "Shadows Over Transylvania," used with permission from Lord Ahriman, and suitably did the album brim with an ancient fire.

2. Abstersion's Rite
3. Carnifex Christi
4. Plagues Embraced

6. Illucescente

8. Thirsty Underworld

Years would pass, but Daemoni continued to be a force on the live front, supporting Colombian shows by such luminaries as Mayhem, Suffocation, Dark Funeral, Krisiun, and Vader among others, with 2018 bringing the band's first European show in Madrid, Spain. Alas, the time to strike again is upon us and Daemoni eclipse the freezing fire of their debut with Black Tyrant. A more finesse 'n' focused work, Black Tyrant exudes an air of professionalism and daresay "maturity" that thankfully never threaten to neuter the primeval fury at the heart of Daemoni's aesthetic. Indeed, the album is aptly titled, for the band's songwriting has reached a masterful level, wholly matching the more muscular aspect that guides these eight underworld hymns. Each instrument is clearly heard, robust but blood-red; the quintet are in the throes of demonical possession, but still retain a tightness of execution. And after 40 furious, fiery minutes, the listener shall likewise reach a state of demonic possession with Black Tyrant.

Graced with masterful artwork by Jenglot Hitam, at long last does Black Tyrant arrive, for black and tyrannical is Daemoni's reign!

Hear the full march of that reign exclusively HERE, courtesy of CVLTNation.com. Pre-order info can be found HERE.

Colombia's Lucifera premiere new track via Decibel magazine's website

Colombian evil metal institution Lucifera premiere the new track "Pacto Pagano" at
Decibel magazine's website. The track hails from the band's highly anticipated fourth album, La Caceria De Brujas, which will see international release on February 25th on CD format via Dunkelheit Produktionen;  the vinyl LP version shall follow on March 18th, also via Dunkelheit. A work of blistering, anciently evil might, La Caceria De Brujas is the album which will truly launch Lucifera onto the worldwide stage and become a defining monument of Colombian metal. Hear Lucifera's "Pacto Pagano" in its entirety exclusively HERE.

Lucifera formed in March 2008 as a duo of David HellRazor (guitar & composition) and Alejandra Blasfemia (vocals & bass). At that time, their music focused on much more conventional thrash metal, but over time, both music and lyrics became more obscure and conceptual. And up through the present, that dynamism between the two founding members has been maintained.

Initially, Lucifera started covering Metallica, AC/DC, Motorhead, Plasmatics, Rock Goddess, Atransia, and many others, but after a while, it was decided to write their own songs. In 2009, they were contacted by Portugal's War Productions, which released their first demo tape, Sed de Venganza, which was recorded entirely during a rehearsal. The following year, France's Legion of Death Records released on 7" vinyl the band's second recording, Legiones de Metal. At the end of 2010 and into early 2011, Lucifera would embark upon their first international tour after sharing the stage with numerous bands in several national shows. The tour was titled "Destroying Without Mercy South American Tour 2010/2011," which included more than 30 dates in Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia, making the whole trek more than two months between these countries of South America and thus being the first and only Colombian metal band to make this possible.

In 2012, after some changes of members in the band, Lucifera collaborated with War Productions again, this time for a split tape with fellow Colombian band Virgin Killer, jointly titled Unidas en Alcohol, Cuero y Metal. In 2013, the band suffers a massive withdrawal of members, with only the two founding members remaining. However, the duo continues to work on new material during 2014, and in March 2015, courtesy of Ecuadorian label Evil Domain Productions,Lucifera releases its first full-length recording, Después de la Muerte. A second international tour followed, called "Profanando la Tumba de los Caidos Tour 2015," which was more ambitious thanks to the contacts the previous one gave them, and thus reached Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina

At the beginning of 2016, the founding members decide to re-record the Sed de Venganza demo and Legiones de Metal EP with a professional sound and with new art for this edition. Ecuadorian label Tanatofobia Productions releases the eight tracks - plus new intro, outro, and an instrumental that had never been recorded before - asLucifera's second full-length, Sed de Venganza & Legiones de Metal. At the end of 2016, Lucifera had its third international tour, doing a series of concerts in Central America, including Panama, El Salvador, and Guatemala as well as Colombia. Right after, work was finished on the band's third full-length, Preludio del Mal, which was released by Salvadorian label Morbid Skull Records. This album was crucial for the band, enabling them to reach different countries on all continents of the world, and suitably received excellent reviews all over.

And now, at long last, Lucifera is set to release its defining work: La Caceria De Brujas, courtesy of Germany'sDunkelheit Produktionen. Taking all the band's foundational elements - blitzkrieg surge, fierce 'n' focused songwriting, a deadly commitment to the heavy metal ethos, an evil that's tangible yet devilishly fun - but presenting them in their most powerful and professional state yet, La Caceria De Brujas is an eight-song/39-minute tour de force of the blackest thrash metal and thrashiest black metal, or simply ANCIENT, ETERNAL METAL! The deadly duo of David HellRazor and Alejandra Blasfemia remains, standing tall all this time, and brimming with a commanding confidence that's impossible to deny. No matter which end of the metal spectrum you fall, Lucifera deliver the goods, and then some! A  fourth international tour is being planned for this momentous event.

In the meantime, hear the new track "Pacto Pagano" in its entirety exclusively HERE, courtesy of Decibel, North America's only monthly metal magazine. Also hear the previously revealed track "Arde En Llamas" and "Sigillum Diaboli" HERE at Dunkelheit Produktionen's Bandcamp, where the album can also be preordered.

Colombian raw speed thrashing trio Orgullo Nativo has recently unleashed the re-issued version of their sophomore album "Entre el campo de batalla" via Morbid Skull Records. This version includes two bonus rehearsal tracks.

Stream the album in its entirely over at Toilet Ov Hell RIGHT HERE

The band states:-

“Orgullo Nativo is a project of insane metal that aims to spit on reality. It is the direct evil from our thoughts and from our beliefs. Blasphemous metal that stands from the fact that singularity is the most important thing, with no gods, no government, and without anything that could affect the supreme individuality.”

Orgullo Nativo was brought forth as a one-man project in July 2011 by Cesar Urrego (Desertor Infernal). Later, it became a full-fledged thrash metal band after the arrival of the drummer Dairo Rodriguez (Root) and the bassist Felipe Guerrero (Infernus). With this original line-up, O.N. starts riding the hard route of metal journey, always filled up with passion. O.N. ridicules our life system which is contaminated by the bad rulers, religions, trends, and all discarded matters.

In 2014, they released the debut EP under the tittle “Filosofia de un demente”, it was welcomed by the local listeners from their home town Bogotá and its surroundings. This EP opened doors for the band to play with well-known national and international bands.

2016 saw the release of their first full-length, under the homonym of the first EP “Filosofía de un demente”. This conceptual album reflects the insanity and hatred conceived by a person against the corrupted system. It is the radiograph of the life of general Colombian people, stuck under an oppressive and virtually invented system.

In 2017 Orgullo Nativo launched their second full-length “Entre el campo de batalla” which talks about the inner war to be free and to not depend on anything that belongs to our reality. It is an explosion of mental violence in which the band wants to corrode and execute “the demented philosophy”. This album has a tremendous raw approach evoked by the band’s thoughts.

The tape version has already been sold-out. Morbid Skull Records re-issues the CD version of “Entre el campo de batalla” (limited to 500 copies), that includes two bonus tracks, on May 05, 2018. Die hard edition of the album is limited to 50 copies, comes with Patch, Signed Promo Card and Blood Inked Hand Numbered Certificate.

Colombia's Ignis Haereticum stream new Goathorned album via Decibel

Today, black metal mavericks Ignis Haereticum stream the entirety of their highly anticipated second album, Autocognition of Light, at Decibel magazine's website. Released this past Friday via Goathorned Productions, hear Ignis Haereticum's Autocognition of Light in its entirety exclusively HERE.

Riding high on the towering immensity of their Luciferian Gnosis debut album in 2014, these Colombian occultists now aim for more transcendent heights and fathomless depths with a six-song/41-minute record that serves as one, unified work. Arguably even more towering than its no-less-considerable predecessor, Autocognition of Light dazzles and defies with an eerily seamless ease, its iteration of orthodox black metal soundly trumping the hapless throngs of Deathspell Omega worship. For this creation is imbued with true belief and solemn reverence: Ignis Haereticum are sonic mages weaving spells both terrible and trance-inducing, their descent into the abyss assured but surely not the final destination.

Ignis Haereticum's new opus was conceived and written as an entire piece instead of just a bunch of songs. It is an illuminative treatise of the band's gnosis, which is manifested through two ways: the purgative way and the illuminative way. The purgative way deals with the active purification of the internal and external senses, the passions, the understanding and the will, through mortification and meditation. Here, the spiritual is nourished by the physical, reminding us all of our imminent mortality. At the end of this first part begins the infused contemplation, whereby the soul rises towards the illumination. It is here where we are aware of our divine condition and we leave behind the attachments of the flesh and the limitations of this material world. Bringing for us, the next path: the illuminative way, which is the recognition of ourselves, our nature, the state in which we are aware of our spirituality free of dogmas. Here, our humanity loses all value and only remains our divine communion with the light of knowledge, which is none other than the reflection of our own light that dwells in the depths of our consciousness. Fiat Lvx!

The full testament to the Autocognition of Light can be witnessed exclusively HERE, courtesy of Decibel, North America's only monthly metal magazine. Order info can be found HERE.
