Italy's Centripetal Force reveal first track & artwork from forthcoming Xtreem Music debut EP31/10/2017 Italian technical thrashers Centripetal Force reveal the first track as well as cover art and tracklisting for their forthcoming debut EP, Eidetic, which will be released on December 20th via Xtreem Music. Entitled "Eidetic Memory," hear the first taste of Centripetal Force's Eidetic HERE. Formed back in 2010 by Stefano Saroglia (guitars) and Andrea Carratta (drums), Centripetal Force completed the line-up with John Knight, who is lead singer of UK progressive metal band Synaptik. The musical style of the band is twisted, technical, and progressive thrash metal in the vein of bands like Watchtower, old Cynic, Mekong Delta, Control Denied, Coroner, later Death, and Toxik. In 2017, Centripetal Force recorded three songs destined to be their debut EP, entitled Eidetic, and with this, they got a deal with Xtreem Music for its release in December of the same year. The band is now working on more songs for a second EP to be released sometime in fall 2018, but that's another story... In the meantime, hear "Eidetic Memory" from Eidetic both HERE at Xtreem Music's official YouTube channel as well as HERE at the label's Soundcloud. Heidevolk are the true definition of Pagan Metal Brotherhood. These Dutchmen hold up the flag for intelligent and perfectly balanced Pagan Folk Metal like no other. It’s time to unveil the info on their brand new release and upcoming masterpiece from Heidevolk. Please welcome “Vuur van Verzet" – set to be released on January 12th 2018. Marvelous riff power, bombastic ensembles and folkloric tunes make up the amazing album that is "Vuur van Verzet”. The band states: “Friends, we are excited to announce our long-awaited new album “Vuur van Verzet” (“Fire of Resistance”). An album that catapults you to a battlefield where a failing Roman empire is retreating and Germanic tribes are on the rise to claim back what is theirs. It will guide you through the great migrations and tell the tale of early traditions, gods and nature. We’ve fitted these stories in 11 songs that emphasize the characteristic Heidevolk sound but also underline the progression of our songwriting. Fast metal riffing combined with a our trademark dual male vocals, a 24 piece male choir, various folk musicians, a string ensemble and the raw guest vocals of Primordials’ Nemtheanga make “Vuur van Verzet” an album that shows its teeth..in a bombastic way. Join us, the Pagan Metal Brotherhood is on the rise!” Take a look at the full track listing, available formats and upcoming tour dates below: Available formats: 1 CD 6-pages Digipack incl. 24 pages booklet 1 LP Gatefold, black and limited golden vinyl Ltd Edition Album Bundle incl. 6-pages Digipack, Leather wristband, flag, patch Digital Album Download “Vuur van Verzet" is scheduled for a January 12th 2018 release. Riding high on the towering immensity of their Luciferian Gnosis debut album in 2014, these Colombian occultists now aim for more transcendent heights and fathomless depths with a six-song/41-minute record that serves as one, unified work. Arguably even more towering than its no-less-considerable predecessor, Autocognition of Light dazzles and defies with an eerily seamless ease, its iteration of orthodox black metal soundly trumping the hapless throngs of Deathspell Omega worship. For this creation is imbued with true belief and solemn reverence: Ignis Haereticum are sonic mages weaving spells both terrible and trance-inducing, their descent into the abyss assured but surely not the final destination. Ignis Haereticum's new opus was conceived and written as an entire piece instead of just a bunch of songs. It is an illuminative treatise of the band's gnosis, which is manifested through two ways: the purgative way and the illuminative way. The purgative way deals with the active purification of the internal and external senses, the passions, the understanding and the will, through mortification and meditation. Here, the spiritual is nourished by the physical, reminding us all of our imminent mortality. At the end of this first part begins the infused contemplation, whereby the soul rises towards the illumination. It is here where we are aware of our divine condition and we leave behind the attachments of the flesh and the limitations of this material world. Bringing for us, the next path: the illuminative way, which is the recognition of ourselves, our nature, the state in which we are aware of our spirituality free of dogmas. Here, our humanity loses all value and only remains our divine communion with the light of knowledge, which is none other than the reflection of our own light that dwells in the depths of our consciousness. Fiat Lvx! The first testament to the Autocognition of Light is the track "Glorious Wounds," which can be heard at Ignis Haereticum's Bandcamp HERE. We are really looking forward to making this, and we thing that this is gonna be an amazing mix between classic, traditional and modern music. There´s no doubt that this is gonna be a really important step in our career!. www.lastdaysofeden.es www.facebook.com/lastdaysofeden Armortura are a melodic thrash metal band based in North East England and although the music is loosely based on old school thrash, there are lots of modern and melodic influences that can be heard from the tight, harmonised guitars coupled with pounding bass lines and powerful vocals. Armortura was formed in April 2016 by ex-HOLOSADE members Phil De Sade (vocals) and Paul Trotter (guitarist), who, after a chance meeting at a Rock Night back in March 2016, decided to catapult their creative musical ideas and shared passion for hard hitting metal music into a new venture, following their dreams of spreading this unique blend of metal music as far and wide as possible. Early 2017 saw the full band formulation of Adam Ironside on guitar Neil Vickers on drums (also ex-Holosade) and Steve Smart on bass to make the talented five-piece metal machine you see today! The writing of the ten track album came into full flow throughout 2016 and early 2017, when many an hour was spent in Paul’s home studio recording demo tracks that would be built upon before launching into the professional studio. Final recording, mixing and mastering of the self-financed album began in July 2016 with Producer James Stephenson at Stymphalian Productions in York, UK. The album took one year to complete from start to final mix. In April 2017, Armortura submitted a four track demo to Mighty Music which was well received and Mighty Music requested to hear the full album. The label were delighted with the full album and in July 2017, Armortura signed to Denmark’s biggest metal label, Mighty Music, who will be releasing the killer self-entitled debut album worldwide on January 26th 2017. Jeff Waters from Annihilator is guesting with guitar solos on the bonus track "11th Hour" (remix). As great fans of Annihilator, the band sent their album to Waters, and he really liked it. And both parts then agreed to have Waters to guest on Armorturas debut album. First single from the album - "Insidious" - will be unleashed on November 26th. The album was recorded and mixed in analogue at Accademia Del Suono (Milan) by Gianluca Guidetti and mastered by Alan Douches (Mastodon, Converge, The Dillinger Escape Plan). The band says: "'Silent' is a raw and organic album, a tribute to things left unsaid, characterized by elements from ’90 hardcore, math, crust and metalcore". Having been reported recently that melodic death metallers Bloodshot Dawn had entered the studio to begin work on their third full length album, entitled Renanimation; an album that is also set to feature prominent guests including Jeff Loomis (Arch Enemy, Nevermore), Paul Wardingham, Ken Sorceron (Abigail Williams, The Faceless), Mendel Bij De Leij (Aborted). Today the band are pleased to reveal the album is set to see the light on 12th January 2018 and will be released via Hostile Media. Since their acclaimed self-titled and second album Demons, there has been shifts in the bands ranks making way for new members, Canadian shredder Morgan Reid, drummer James Stewart (also of Vader and Divine Chaos) and bass player Giacomo Gastaldi. Frontman and last founding member Josh McMorran reflects on the losing all members from the Demons line up as a huge shock to the system:- "I had to take sometime to think about how to move forward with the bands sound and honestly thinking wasn't what was needed. When Morgan joined the band he worked tirelessly on riffs and ideas for songs which I sculptured into my design and feel for how I thought the album should flow. We met up over a two week period and turned hundreds of ideas into ten tracks very naturally. The general feeling is that we now for the first time have a solid direction and process, we work as a unit instead of separate solo efforts within the band." "We recorded guitars and drums in the east of Germany and Czech simply because that's where Morgan and James are based. The studio in Czech, Babylon Studios, had an incredible drum room which was a huge selling point to this studio. We recorded guitars at Morgans home studio, which follows a similar process to our previous records. After that we headed for Sweden to work with Per Nilsson (Scar Symmetry) for final guitar pieces, additional layers, mixing and mastering. Per is a good friend and an extraordinary musician and his ear and eye for the big picture has helped us create Renanimation and pushed us to evolve our sound in a very natural way." "As for the stories within the album, a lot of it is ambiguous, regarding personal struggles, as well as observations on modern day society. But as with all Bloodshot Dawn records the lyrics aren't always as clear cut and it's the sci-fi artwork that really tells the cover story so to speak. We worked with a good friend Chris Kewli who is a concept artist with an incredibly creative mind. The artwork is the third part of a trilogy of art continuing and finishing the concept that started with the first two Bloodshot Dawn albums. The front cover pictures an alien approaching a war torn earth who's coming to clean up the planet of human life and refresh the earth back to its former glory! The art unfolds further through the inlays of the CD." As well as the news of an imminent new release the band will be on tour throughout UK/Ireland tour, their first in almost 2 years! "We are excited to be hitting the tour circuit again after a short hiatus. We are hungry for live devastation and looking forward to seeing fans old and new!" Almost 100.000 souls lost their lives, and this tragic event still belongs to one of the disastrous catastrophes in European history and nature. 2017 and in remembrance of the victims and the band's home town, will mark the year of Moonspell's new album titled '1755', the 13rd studio record by the Portuguese Dark Metal pioneers, which will see the light of day on November 3rd with Napalm Records. From the first second, the conceptual dramaturgy of Moonspell's new album feels like a detonation of the mind. Playful and mean-spirited. '1755' is their magnum opus, a musical masterpiece and the dark adventure into medieval times. Produced by Tue Madsen (Meshuggah, The Haunted, Dark Tranquility, Dir En Grey, Die Apokalyptischen Reiter), naturally this album is sang completely in Portuguese and will outclass all standards you have ever heard from Moonspell before! Says the band: “So, the day is almost here. Nobody expected we would release an album so soon but 1755 gripped us to the point where we changed everything and dedicated ourselves into telling this amazing story on our new album. Our job is done, now we will take it upon the road as headliners in Portugal and Spain in October and November and a special guest to our fiends Cradle of Filth next year. Festivals are also being booked. Now it’s turn to listen with an open mind to our new opus and decide if you want to take the travel into a dark day that brought our country, Portugal a brighter future.” Only a few days before its official release, the band is now streaming their upcoming album in FULL! Get your ears on it and check out '1755' exclusively HERE! In support of Moonspell's upcoming release, the band will be heavily hitting the road this year, while kicking off in Portugal and Spain first, followed by an extensive tour with Cradle Of Filth in early 2018!
