We are going to enjoy those guitar duels, the shuddering solos and endless trepidation rhythms that will not leave indifferent any lover of the genre.

www.facebook.com/viudanegra.official Slovakia's Progressive / Power metallers Signum Regis have published a video for the track "Stand Away", a cover from Brazilian band Angra and recorded as a tribute to the late Andre Matos, who passed away in 2019. You can watch the video at this location: https://youtu.be/IJtXZCLSfro Italian death metal institution Horrid stream the entirety of As We Forget Our Past, a special collection of re-recordings, via Friedhof-Magazine.com. Set for international release on December 31st via Dunkelheit Produktionen for the CD version - the vinyl LP version shall be released on February 18th, 2020 - stream Horrid 's As We Forget Our Past in its entirety exclusively HERE. Italy's longest-running death metal band, Horrid have built an enviously dependable, unyielding body of work since 1989. Starting with more primitive influences but soon moving on to those of early Entombed and Dismember, the band spent the 1990s solidifying their sound over a clutch of demos and EPs. Eventually, come 2002, their debut album manifested itself as Reborn in Sin. From there, the name Horrid has continued to stand for the timeless upholding of classic death metal values. Now, after two brand-new albums for Dunkelheit - 2014's Sacrilegious Fornication and 2017's Beyond the Dark Border, each one as critically acclaimed as the last - once again do Horrid align with Dunkelheit for a special anniversary record. Fittingly titled As We Forget Our Past, the 10-song/53-minute album features a slew of "greatest hits" re-recorded with Horrid's line-up that's been firm since 2015. As such, these ten tracks together form a sort of symbiosis with the preceding Beyond the Dark Border, given the massive crunch & crush of that career highpoint. With the original songs stretching back to 1997's Blasphemic Creatures and ranging 2002's Reborn in Sin, 2006's Rising From the Hidden Spheres, 2011's The Final Massacre, and even Sacrilegious Fornication, here do Horrid put on a masterclass of pure 'n' proud DEATH METAL: melodic yet dark, dynamic yet devastating, the power-trio bring the past into the present with seemingly effortless aplomb. Despite the usually tawdry proposition of most re-recordings, truly does As We Forget Our Past both re-acclimate and re-animate, this line-up of Horrid's executing these old creations with a palpitating breathlessness and goosebump-inducing poignancy, especially where the lead-guitar work is concerned. Suitably, the band round out the record with a brand-new song, the title track "As We Forget Our Past," bringing that past into the present and setting their sights on the future. Timeless yet fresh, and perfectly complemented by moody, awe-inspiring cover art courtesy of Matteo Autunno Di Domenico, Horrid breathe new, rotten life into the undead with As We Forget Our Past! Belgian black metal enigmas Cult of Erinyes stream their highly anticipated fourth album, Æstivation, via InvisibleOranges.com. Set for international release on December 21st via Amor Fati Productions, hear Cult of Erinyes' Æstivation in its entirety exclusively HERE. Drawing its energy from the darkest thoughts of its creators, this extreme and punitive outfit intends to evolve in the realms of black metal while pushing its limits ever further. Spawned with the intention to distill artistic audacity into respected traditions, Cult of Erinyes belong to the forbidden experience, where music is merely a symptom of a higher truth. Ritualistic hymns, vicious and twisted vocals, furious rhythmics, and ambient digressions are only a few weapons which have made Cult of Erinyes a band to be reckoned with. Formed late 2009, Cult of Erinyes released their debut EP, Golgotha, early 2011 through Kunsthauch & Dunkelkunst, as well as a limited-edition tape through Caverna Abismal Records. Quickly after, their first full-length, A Place to Call My Unknown, was released by a very young Les Acteurs de l'Ombre Productions, gathering attention from all over the world. This got them signed to Code666 Records, who would end up releasing two more full-lengths (2013's Blessed Extinction and 2017's Tiberius), while the band kept self-financing smaller-scale releases like a split with Zifir and two EPs respectively titled Transcendence (2016) and Veneer (2018). It was Veneer, however, that truly changed everything for Cult of Erinyes. After a drastic lineup change, including new drummer Ahephaïm (Sabathan, ex-Enthroned) and new vocalist/producer Déhà (Slow, Maladie), it was clear that the band needed something more. The answer was to be found in Amor Fati Productions, with whom the band have joined forces to unleash their fourth full-length, Æstivation. More tumultuous than ever, the band unveils its true potential to lift their music to the highest of spheres, delivering raw fury and haunting melodies. With this new lineup, including members of esteemed acts like Wolvennest, LVTHN, Imber Luminis, and many more, Cult of Erinyes are ready to bring their enticing yet challenging music to the stage once more. Æstivation is thus both strident development and grand rebirth: bottomless immersion awaits! The 01Experience was founded in 2016 by singer Melissa Mari (Death Under Fire) and guitarist Colin E. Davis (Vile). Together the duo began blending modern progressive rock and metal music, influenced by the spiritually-infused music and art of the 1960s, which aimed at raising the consciousness of their audiences, while also drawing from spiritual/shamanic influences. This Alchemical metal tag came as a result of this amalgamation of styles and influences. Prior to the “Let it Go” single, The 01Experience released the 2017 EP The Code, which was hailed for its deep artistic sound. In 2018, drummer Mike Heller (Fear Factory) and Stephen Paul Goodwin (Vicious Rumors) joined the project. The 01Experience is: Melissa Mari – Vocals, EWI Colin E.
