They combine groovy riffs and rhythms with twisted folk melodies with a very Finnish touch. The lyrics are in Finnish and more specifically in the accent of Oulu. The songs are tales about drinking, hangovers, trolls and of course blood-spattered eternal battles. Verikalpa is formed by six musicians from bands such as Catamenia and Quake The Earth and this experienced group of musicians deliver their music with a firm touch and with an energetic live show. Verikalpa has been in existence for many years but they decided to take their time in polishing their musical atmosphere and concept so that the band was truly ready to hit the stages and recording studios with a complete product. Taistelutahto was thus recorded in the SURF-SOUND studio in Oulu with the mastermind Janne Huotari who whipped out all that the guys had to give. After pouring everything they had to the album it was finally mastered by Svante Forsbäck of Chartmakers and so Taistelutahto (Battlewill) was born. Verikalpa has concentrated in composing, rehearsing and recording for the past six months but they are no strangers to the stages of Finland. For example they played a very successful show with Primordial in Helsinki. The guys received a lot of good feedback by the metal media's and audiences and this gave them a foothold in the music-scene of Finland.

 German Black Metallers Schrat have grown quickly within the last two years. Due to several memorable shows, they established themselves more and more in the Black Metal underground. After two full-length records and their latest EP “Artefakt” (2015), the three members decided to take the next step and signed a deal with the well-known Extreme Metal label Folter Records. Founded in 2003, the band looks back to an exciting time including several line up changes. A new album is already scheduled for 2018. Schrat will also play live at, among others, Under The Black Sun a in the next year. Folter Records Homepage SCHRAT on Facebook  Carbon Seed are a death metal band from Bordeaux, France, ready to present to the word their first 5 tracks entitled, Posthumanism, an EP full of powerful death metal. Heavy rhythms, incisive riffs and energetic vocals are sustained by floods of blast beats and double bass. Dystopia or trans-humanism are the themes that the group touch upon in their lyrics. The band entered the studio at Bud Records and the recording, mixing & mastering was handled by Mathieu Pascal (also known as one of the guitarists of the band Gorod), a long time friend who knows Carbon Seed plays and who they really are. The band were very happy with the result although the choice of tracks for this EP was difficult to decide from the powerful set of tracks available to the band. The dawn of Carbon Seed has now arrived and with the release of Posthumanism via Sliptrick Records, the group plan to tour extensively and lay the foundation for future plans. Domgård was founded in 1997 by Vindkall, Orm & Trollheim. The following years Ulv joined as a drummer and Illbrand as a vocalist. Some unofficial rehearsal demos were recorded. In 2000 three of four members were imprisoned for several years. Four years later Vindkall and Ulv recorded the demo Blodskald before Vindkall continued on his own until 2008 when the drummer Hrimner and the bass player Hraegelmir (Panphage) joined. In 2009 Domgård recorded five tracks for a split with Cursed 13 which was released on the winter solstice the same year. The following year Heljarmadr (Cursed 13, Grá, Dark Funeral) joined the trio and contributed on two full-length albums, I Nifelhels Skygd (2010) and Myrkviðr (2012). Askr joined as the new bass player in 2013 and Mardröm as a second guitarist in 2014.

 French symphonic power metallers Hamka - featuring Spanish vocalist Elisa C. Martín (ex-Darkmoor) - premiere a lyric video for the new track "Earth's Call" at Legacy magazine's website. The track hails from the band's long-awaited second album, Multiversal, due for international release on December 14th via Fighter Records. Martín, Hamka released a demo called Exodus in 2004 and their debut album, Unearth, came out a year later, but during the following years, the band was put on hold due to personal circumstances until, in 2013, it was resurrected with the addition of three new members and preparation of a second album entitled Multiversal, which was finished in summer 2017. Now it's Fighter Records who will properly release Multiversal, a magnificent 14-song opus of top-quality symphonic power metal with ethnic influences, giving it a worldwide promotion and distribution.  Cardiant released their fourth studio album today November 24th 2017 via Inverse Records. The previous album 'Verge' was released approx. 4,5 years ago, so fans long anticipation is finally over. The album features several guest singers, Pasi Rantanen (Thunderstone, King Company), Nitte Valo (Burning Point, Seraphiel) & Janne Saksa who performed session vocals to Cardiant's debut album 'Midday Moon'. In 2012, their debut EP, In The Jaws Of Deceipt, was released to a great response in the underground metal community drawing comparisons with At The Gates and Lamb Of God. The follow up EP, With Bared Teeth And Truths (2014), contained 4 slabs of pit starting, abrasive metal, described by the mighty “No Clean Singing” website as “diving headfirst into a nest of pissed-off hornets”. The EP saw the band experimenting with their original influences whilst honing their songwriting to a sharpened edge. The new release from Triverse Massacre is entitled Hades and see the band, yet again, evolving their sound into something more uniquely vicious, stepping up their intensity and technical levels to truly create their own unique voice. Their formation is a classic one: Borja on lead vocals, Jorge on solo guitar, Tomás on rhythm guitar, Jose on bass and Mikel on the drums. The band soon started to play in some towns in their region, and began composing their own songs which were influenced by artists such as Iron Maiden, Helloween, Dio, and Manilla Road to name a few. In September 2016, the band completed their self-produced demo album Day Of Eternal Faith which consisted of four original tracks, then in the summer of 2017, Rosslyn recorded their first full-length album, Soul In Sanctuary in Estudios Inguz (Zaragoza), where it was also mixed and mastered. This album features eight new tracks encapsulating the Rosslyn sound, a heavy metal that rides somewhere between traditional and epic.
