Texan Hip-Hop Metal ensemble Unitytx announce new album 'Somewhere, In Between...', out March 13th24/1/2026 Fresh off the success of their latest single, “Heinous”, metal / hip-hop fusion band Unitytx is excited to announce their sophomore album Somewhere, In Between…. The new record is set to be released on March 13th, 2026 via Pure Noise Records, marking the band’s first full-length since their 2023 debut Ferality. Fans can watch the band’s new music video “Enjoy Tha Show” and pre-order the album now at https://purenoiserecs.lnk.to/UnityTX. “‘Enjoy Tha Show’ was crafted to provoke thought on the narratives we embrace as humans, sharing our experiences to foster connection. After much reflection, I aimed to create something that resonated with my audience and mirrored my struggles. Seeking comfort among those who don’t understand the pain of feeling ethnically out of place can be daunting,” frontman Jay Webster (aka Shaolin G). He continues: “At times, the words of strangers would sting so deeply that I’d share them with others. It felt like a natural reaction, yet my friends urged me to rise above it. Ignoring it was harder than I thought, as I was expected to just perform and push through the noise. So, I shifted my approach to simply enjoying the experience." “Unknowingly, I built my life around catering to critics, only to realize that the audience often reacts negatively when you stray from their expectations. This goes beyond music; our society often limits opportunities for those daring to be themselves. It’s frustrating, and I accept that it’s a tragic reality. My identity is shaped by my experiences and environment, and that cannot be changed. Where do we draw the line between empathy and judgment?” Unitytx have always been ahead of the curve. Leaders rather than followers, the Dallas-based band have been breaking the mold since their inception in 2014 with a ferocious fusion of metal and hip-hop, along with some added electronic flourishes and hints of other genres too. Yet new album Somewhere, In Between is largely inspired by the band feeling that, despite always paving the way, they’ve not been given all the props they deserve. The result of that frustration is a record that—across 14 caustic, cathartic songs—oozes with both discontent and determination. It’s a (self-)motivating rallying cry to break free from where they feel they are to somewhere else, idealistically and musically, while also staying true to themselves and their original intentions as a band. As such, it also serves as a reaction to the compromises Webster feels the band have made since they started doing it in a professional capacity. “When we got into the industry,” says frontman Jay Webster (aka Shaolin G), “we had to start playing by the industry rules and not so much by the rules that I had set for us. I was trying my hardest to stick to my code, but it felt like it wasn't ever going to work. This album is what Unitytx used to be before we got picked up. It's letting go of all the tension that made us feel like we couldn't do anything in this space and trying to push past that and reach—not our maximum potential—but start to see where else this can go. We’re trying to evolve both as a band and as people.” Unitytx will be on tour this spring, supporting Varials on a full US run. The month long tour kicks off on March 12 in Detroit, with stops to follow in Chicago, Denver, Anaheim, Dallas, Atlanta, Baltimore, Brooklyn, and more. L.A. Trap Metallers Love Ghost unleash 'Vengeance', the first single from their forthcoming EP17/1/2026 Founded by vocalist / guitarist Finnegan Bell, Love Ghost is an enigmatic Los Angeles-based act known for its distinctive blend of grunge, indie / alt-rock, emo, metal and trap rock coupled with mature, poetic lyrics. Their raw, energetic sound has earned numerous plaudits, while a series of collaborations with a wide variety of other artists have broadened the group's cross-genre appeal. Their new single, ‘Vengeance’, is an uptempo hard rock song about gaining revenge. An epic guitar riff, soaring vocal and football stadium chant of “Ave Ultio” (‘Hail Vengeance’) lend the track an anthemic quality, with entire audiences heard repeating it when played during the band's recent live sets. ‘Vengeance' is produced by rock and metal musician Tim Skold, best known for his hitmaking tenure with Marilyn Manson, and is the first to be lifted from ‘Anarchy And Ashes’, a forthcoming new EP by Love Ghost that is an electrifying collision of hard rock power and industrial grit that captures them at their most urgent and unapologetic. Scheduled for release on 27th March 2026 on Metropolis Records, it will be promoted with a month long European tour commencing in early April. Bell and Skold had previously teamed up in 2024 to make the well received album ‘Love Ghost X SKOLD’, also issued via Metropolis. LOVE GHOST - ANARCHY AND ASHES - EUROPEAN TOUR 2026

Written during the second Italian quarantine the trap metal album pays homage to his inspiration and love of anime and manga, with appearances from Prymus, Gizmo, IN6N, Stefan, Rhen, and Marry Me! Bellamy. "You Are (Not) Alone" features a range of singles including the fiery single "Otaku Pride" which landed two official Spotify playlists upon release, "Lonewolf" an homage to Becko's former band, Hopes Die Last, which landed three official Spotify playlists when released, and the ultra-catchy alt-electronic-rock anime-inspired "Boku No Universe," placed in the Oculus VR music rhythm game Smash Drums. The album also features "Darkest Days" a poignant creation with heartfelt vocal melodies overlaid with intense screams and hard-hitting beats, produced by Linkin Park frontman Mike Shinoda himself. On the production of "Darkest Days," Mike Shinoda said:- “I’ve had a lot of fun producing so many new, upcoming artists on Twitch, and Becko was definitely a standout. I’m excited for the song’s release and to see what he does in the coming years.” On the upcoming album, Becko said:- "I've written "You Are (Not) Alone" all in one shot during the second Italian quarantine. I was feeling in a cage as all we were and I've started to compare this feeling to the hikikomori way of life. The album is a way to react to all the bad things that can happen in our lives. It's the path of the kid that becomes mature taking life in his hands fighting against his demons. It's the path of the new generation that fights against the old generation with this new technology as a weapon. It's my path through music knowing myself more and more." You Are (Not) Alone is available now for pre-order and drops April 1st from the independent multi-genre label FiXT. Hot off of a collaboration with Upon A Burning Body main man Danny Leal, The Weight Of Silence are here to prove that trap metal isn't a trend and neither are they. Continuing to prove their unique approach to a fresh genre, The Weight of Silence are "Runnin' Through The 666" on their latest single, blending metalcore with the swagger of trap! Vocalist Jacob Pederson states that:- “While we’ve focused our recent 2 singles on the #TRAPMETAL movement, our brand new single "Runnin Through The 666" could almost be placed as melodic hardcore! This is the sound we started this band on, and even though we’re all about evolving with our sound, we will never forget where we came from. This one is for our day one fans!" Watch "Runnin' Through The 666" Official Video The video for "Runnin' Through the 666" premiered on September 18 through New Noise Magazine; it showcases the band's live energy and the flare for the dramatic that can be heard in all of their songs. It's undeniably an unconventional and sometimes silly approach, but The Weight of Silence's roots in hardcore are evident in their music and in their dedication to their fans! Spotify |
