The great fascination for folklore and its authentic implementation determines the musical and lyric fortunes of these Bulgarian nature lovers since the band was founded in 2011.
In the Rhodopes, the magnificently wooded, majestically towering mountains in South Bulgaria, the stylishly traditional Aegonia feel most comfortable.
The seductively melodic and enormously atmospheric sound of these expressive aesthetes is based on exquisite ingredients from Doom, Gothic and Fantasy Metal.
Most aptly, the quartet's music is described as ATMOSPHERIC FOLKLORE METAL.

Japanese superstars Man With A Mission have announced the release of their brand new single ‘Fly Again 2019’. The band have released an amazing video for the song, filmed at their recent 50,000 capacity headline show at the Hanshin Koshien Stadium, capturing the huge scale of the Japanese rock phenomenon and their rapturous following.
Originally released as the B-side of their debut single in Japan in 2011, ‘Fly Again’ was quick to turn into a tearaway hit for Man With A Mission in their homeland. It is a massive live favourite with fans of the stadium rock stars and the phenomenal demand for the track has not let up in eight years. And now, due to its continued stature as a huge live hit with their fans around the world, the song has been chosen to be a featured track in tonight’s episode (April 29th) of the TV show Radiation House, adapted from the hit manga series.
Man With A Mission have now re-recorded it for an international release proper as ‘FLY AGAIN 2019’; a hi-octane cut with danceable rock riffs, vinyl scratching and one of the most addictive and inescapable choruses ever to come out of Asia.
Having now sold out a number of headline tours in the UK following the release of their massively acclaimed debut international album "Chasing The Horizon" last year, the band return this summer to play Download Festival on June 14th.
‘Fly Again 2019’ is available to stream on YouTube now, and will be made available to download and listen on all streaming platforms from May 10th worldwide.

Finnish Blackened Thrashers Evil Angel set release date for new album 'Unholy Evil Metal'; unveil details
Hells Headbangers announces May 31st as the international release date for Evil Angel's long-awaited second album, Unholy Evil Metal, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.
Formed during the dark days of 1998 in Lahti, Finland, Evil Angel finally burst upon the international metal underground in 2002 with the Dark Forces of Hell demo. For the next number of years, the band would continue to perfect its outbreak-of-evil style of black-thrashing metal across more demos, splits, and the aptly titled Metal Onslaught EP. That last-named record was crucial in pointing the direction forward for Evil Angel: each new recording brought them down into deeper depths of primitivism whilst underlining their connection to the unyielding strength of true METAL.
The culmination of this devolution/refinement came in the form of Evil Angel's even-more-aptly titled debut album, Unholy Fight for Metal. Here, the quintet stoked the ancient hell-fires of early South American darkness, recalling the bestial rush/crush of early Sarcofago, Vulcano, and Sepultura while simultaneously upping the pure metal catchiness of their attack. The album became something of a mini-classic in the underground upon its release in 2007. The band followed it up a year later with a split 7" with Spawn of Satan via Hells Headbangers and then quietly went on hiatus.
At long last, however, Evil Angel return with nearly the same line-up, ready to reclaim their throne and continue that unholy fight with their long-awaited second album, Unholy Evil Metal. Once again aptly titled, Unholy Evil Metal lays it all on the line about what Evil Angel are all about: UNHOLY EVIL METAL! Picking up exactly where they left off with Unholy Fight for Metal, the all-new Unholy Evil Metal dials back the bestiality a bit but roughens up true, old heavy metal with unapologetic ugliness - and of course, evil. In fact, just a cursory reading of some of the album's song titles - "Bestial Necromancer," "Nuclear Hammer," "Sacrificial Slaughter," and "Christ Decays" among them - spells in no uncertain terms how unholy (and EVIL) Evil Angel's metal is.
Some bands break up or go on hiatus, only to return as hollowed shells of what they once were. In the case of Evil Angel, being buried by time and dust only made them more resolute: Unholy Evil Metal lives again, more virile and vicious than ever! Feel the first thrust of that virile viciousness with the new track "Necro Black Mass" HERE at Hells Headbangers' Bandcamp, where the album can also be pre-ordered.

Australian Deathcore crew Thy Art Is Murder announce new album and unveil title track music video, pre-order now
Against this backdrop of postmodern dystopia, chaos, and confusion arrives 'Human Target', the earth-scorching fifth album from extreme metal titans Thy Art Is Murder.
In anticipation of the album release on July 26th via Nuclear Blast (Rest of World) / Human Warfare (Australia, New Zealand), the band has unveiled a music video for the title track, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMl3exzgGto
Comments Thy Art Is Murder guitarist Andy Marsh:-
"'Human Target' was the last song written for the album as I felt we lacked an opening track to set the mood and provide the impact for what was to come. Human organ harvesting had been brought to my attention as a serious matter that wasn’t receiving much coverage (or not enough for me to hear about it) and I thought the issue required more scrutiny and awareness. To distil the metaphors of proletariat subjugation down to the visceral injustice of taking away the engines of life, seemed to be a powerful atmosphere to open the record."
'Human Target' was produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Will Putney at Graphic Nature Audio in Belleville, NJ. The artwork was once again painted by Eliran Kantor (Hatebreed, Testament, Iced Earth, Sodom).
Pre-order 'Human Target' in various digital and physical formats from www.thyartismurder.net

Hailing from Beijing, China, Life Awaits make their label debut by releasing, their newest single, Better now, through Dreambound's YouTube channel.
With a mix of heartfelt lyrics - gutwrenching vocals and fantastic instrumentation, Life Awaits are here to impress and take no prisoners with this first single of 2019. Both new and old fans alike are bound to find lyrics and moments that will resonate within them, be it tapping their foot along to the beat, or screaming along at the top of their lungs, there's a bit for everyone to enjoy.
Vocalist Yu opened up about the track:-
"Better now is kind of an experimental song for us. We wanted to find connections between the lyrics and each note. I personally suffered from bipolar disorder for a period of time. So there’s anger in it and there’s also desperation. But most importantly, there is an exit from it all. And we hope the song can reach out to those who have the same problem and can find their own way out. This is also the first single release after signing with Famined Records. We are all very excited. And we hope it brings a new chapter to our career."
You can stream or purchase "Better now" here.
Life Awaits is a 4-piece Post-Hardcore / Alt Metal band from Beijing, China. German death metallers Abythic have just signed a contract with Xtreem Music for the release of their next album, the second in their career, which is currently being mixed and will be released after this summer.
Abythic's new album will be titled Conjuring the Obscure and was recorded at the Flashback Recordings studios under the direction of T.S. (who is also drummer in Suffocate Bastard).
This is what Abythic guitarist MDB says about Conjuring the Obscure:
"This new album is divided into four chapters. For each chapter, a different singer sings; with each chapter, the whole equipment was changed; with each chapter, we play a different style. In chapter 1, we play more classic Swedish-styled death metal very inspired by old Grave (You'll Never See… era); in chapter 2, we play more Finnish-styled death metal like old Belial, Demigod etc; in chapter 3, we switch back to Sweden…but this time, more into death/black metal very inspired by Necrophobic; and on the 4th chapter, we are very inspired by US death metal like old Deicide and Malevolent Creation (The Fine Art of Murder era). So, we have a very dynamic album with a lot of surprises.
I think we created something unique in this genre, especially by changing the styles and productions within the album. T.S. is also the drummer on this Abythic album. Normally, I played drums in the past, but this time, I'm playing all guitars on this. On the previous releases, I also wrote the whole material for the band. On this new Abythic album, you will find members from bands like Reckless Manslaughter, Selfdevoured, Anam, ex-Ingurgitating Oblivion, and Suffocate Bastard."
The new Abythic logo has been made by the legendary Belgian artist Christophe Szpajdel, while the cover art has been painted by Jenglot Hitam.
More details about the album will be revealed when the mixing is finished during this summer. In the meantime, you can hear their previous album HERE. For more info, consult the links blow.
