Following the release of their highly anticipated studio album Requiem via Loma Vista Recordings in February, Korn shares a new video for the next single "Worst Is on Its Way". The Craig Bernard and Culley Bunker-directed visual shows the band's high energy performance of the song in greyscale as individual members of the band are decomposed into animated particles with a series of visual effects. The 9-track album features the hit single "Start the Healing," which peaked at #1 on the Active Rock chart, in addition to the previously released tracks "Forgotten," which Rolling Stone described as "explosive" and "Lost In The Grandeur," which dropped as a final taste of Requiem just a few days before the record's release. Recently described by GQ as "bold and iconoclastic" and released to high acclaim including recent features on the covers of Revolver and King Kong magazines, Requiem is produced by Korn and Chris Collier. Energized by a new creative process free of time constraints, the band was able to do things with Requiem that the past two decades haven't always afforded them, such as taking additional time to experiment together or diligently recording to analogue tape - processes which unearthed newfound sonic dimension and texture in their music. Additionally, Korn is slated to take their live show across a worldwide run of headline festival and amphitheater tour dates kicking off this summer and running into the fall. The extensive tour begins with a headline performance at Daytona Beach's Welcome To Rockville festival before kicking off EU/UK dates in Amsterdam on May 25th. The tour will see stops in Berlin, London, Stockholm, Budapest and more before returning stateside for dates in Denver, Charlotte, Dallas, Boise and others. Tickets are currently available for purchase HERE. Watch "Worst Is On Its Way" and listen to Requiem above, see full tour routing, album details and information on the band below and stay tuned for more Korn coming soon. Upcoming Live Dates EU/UK

Depicting a desolate, desert wasteland, completely void of humanity as we know it - one hopes that the end of times is a farfetched, distant future... Septicflesh's forthcoming studio record Modern Primitive will be released on May 20th, 2022. Pre-order it via various formats and stream the new single now at: https://septicflesh.bfan.link/a-desert-throne.ema The band commented: "This is a more epic song with dominant dramatic melodies. Will mankind be leaving behind a barren Earth as its legacy? A desert planet like Mars? For the visualization of the song, a small animation sequence was created by Cloud Factory and was 'dressed' appropriately with the lyrics of the song. Enjoy!" SEPTICFLESH ARE:

SAMAEL online: "Tripwire" is the second stand-alone single from Perfect NME, following 2021 full length album "Remains To Be Seen". The song has all the trademarks of a Perfect NME song - heavy riffs, a healthy blend of intense and organic, a large chorus - all delivered within a diverse musical framework. Lyrically, it deals with the inevitability of change, of trying to move on and the scars it can leave us with. Perfect NME are currently hard at work on the follow up to their debut album. More details to come! After years spent carefully honing their sound and live performances, Perfect NME have proved themselves a force to be reckoned with. Their debut album «Remains to be Seen» was released to critical acclaim and helped pave the way forward. Hard grooves, atmosphere, blistering instrumental work, aggression and melody are the keywords. Born from a desire to transcend more traditional metal genres, Perfect NME first saw the light of day in 2014. From the start the members’ diverse musical backgrounds helped sow the seeds to create something unique, and with a conscious view to moulding these various influences into a new kind of monster, incorporating elements of modern metal, thrash, in-your-face beats and big choruses, Perfect NME have managed to forge a sound identifiable and relevant, while staying true to their musical inspirations. 7 years on, and the band have seen two ep’s and a full album all released to great reviews; 2014’s self-titled “Perfect NME”, 2015’s “Monument”, and the debut album «Remains to be Seen», released via Wormholedeath records. The band have played numerous gigs up and down the length of Norway, both as support for larger acts and as headliner, earning them a reputation as a solid live band and attracting a large support base. They have been frequently featured in the press and have received radio play rotation. The band partnered with Wormholedeath records for the release and worldwide distribution of their debut album "Remains to be Seen". The album, pre-produced at Ronnie Le’tekrø’s (tnt) studio captures the essence of the band and its vision, and also includes the song «legion» with special guest vocals by Bjørn Strid (Soilwork, The Night Flight Orchestra). Thematic at its core, «Remains to be Seen» covers much musical ground, yet remains a cohesive metal experience, while lyrically exploring the concept of loss and its lingering influence on the present. The band is currently working on the follow up album, and are also set to release several singles in the near future. With the release of «Remains to be Seen», and with the follow up album in the works, Perfect NME are poised to take their brand of metal to a wider audience, both at home and abroad, and have set their sights firmly on the future. Make sure to give it a spin! Official release date is June 3rd. Danish modern deathcore band Hanging The Nihilist are back and ready to present their debut full-length ‘Prophetic Blasphemy’ - an album filled with breakdowns and epic compositions, where each track both brutally and beautifully expresses the tale of divine ambition and hellish betrayal: “We are beyond excited to share our debut album with you all: Prophetic Blasphemy tells an epic story of cosmic treason and revenge on a backdrop of some of Europe’s most crushing and frenzied modern deathcore. The album aims to trigger mosh pits and take you on an epic musical and lyrical journey. It is our first release with our new vocalist, Alex, who wrote the story behind the lyrics”, the band muses. Since being formed in 2016, Hanging The Nihilist has played shows with bands such as Shokran, Imminence, MØL, Cabal, among others. After the release of their EP ‘Crow’, the six-piece debuted at the UK metal scene with their performance at Tech Metal Fest 2019, with headliners Dying Fetus, Monuments and Leprous. The coming debut album marks a new level of ambition and direction for the band, revealing what the hard-hitting six-piece has to offer the world of extreme metal. ‘Prophetic Blasphemy’ has been recorded and produced by renowned sound engineer Chris Kreutzfeldt (CABAL, Unseen Faith, MØL) and is set to be released on June 3rd through Prime Collective. Frantic aggressive metal reflecting the outcry of the Iranian youth, Padra’s Farsi lyrics are a call back to the original essence of Thrash Metal. Padra vocalist / guitarist Ramtin Dashti had this to say about "Jabr", their latest creative effort: "'The literal meaning of the word Jabr is “Algebra”, but in Persian culture as well as the Persian language it’s the antonym of “Free Will” and is considered to be a power above “Free Will” and ultimately used to control mankind. The Jabr that we have to contend with in Iran our whole lives is the sheer domination of retrogressive and traditional ideals in favour of the young generation’s progressive ideals. We tried to convey this concept in our artwork and in the song we aimed to blend aggressive melodic music with Persian lyrics and remind our fans of our old style of song writing.'"
Founded in 2010, the band initially started as an experimental project, implementing Farsi lyrics alongside various metal subgenres. Since then, the band has released two albums and four singles, and throughout their journey, it has evolved to become one of the more mainstream acts of the Iranian metal scene. Their Farsi lyrics mirror the Iranian youth’s genre of preference, Persian Rap, and is why Padra can appeal to many Iranians and has landed them a loyal following in Iran. A following that travelled from all corners of Iran to see the band’s two live performances in 2016 ensured that those live shows became two of the most memorable live experiences of the Iranian metal scene. The band is never afraid to get political with their lyrics, which closely resembles Persian rappers. In addition, they also incorporate horror and existentialistic elements in their songs. Fans of bands such as Kreator and Testament will recognize Padra’s use of old school thrash metal and melodic death metal elements and their modern production approach. Their style of ferocious metal perfectly augments the message the band tries to convey, revolt and disobeying against retrogression. In 2021, after moving to Istanbul, Turkey Padra signed with the first Iranian Metal label, Tough Sounds, to deliver the outcry of Iran’s youth to the ears of the international metal community with their future singles in 2022. Dreamferno's new song is a reverence to songwriters' close relative who passed away after a long struggle with terminal illness. Hagne is all about purity and virtue. One can only hope that everyone has at least one person in their life, who passes on the idea of good morals and kindness for the next generation. The song starts off with a beautiful Disney - style intro which transforms into a vibrant symphonic rock interpretation accompanied with vocals by Enni Rautiainen and Samuli Rimmi. Krzysztof Dobosiewicz is responsible for the exquisite arranging of the orchestrations. Composing and lyrics are from the pen of Samuli.
