"For this one we stepped up the production a bit from our previous videos. Apart from a great performance by the band, it also features acting by Sabina Melander. Her presence adds a lot of emotion to this video. All this is filmed by our friend Therese Andersson, that we have worked with many times before on previous projects. The story of the video follows the theme of the lyrics in the song, but also leaves room for interpretation by the viewer."
Canadian Gothic Metal musician Lindsay Schoolcraft (Cradle Of Filth) releases new single "Where I Fall"
Lindsay Schoolcraft (Cradle of Filth) has just released her new single "Where I Fall". The song is from her upcoming album Martyr which will be released on October 7th 2019.
"I’m one of those people who entirely needs to detach to recharge. A “self healer” you might call it. Some people need to be around others to cope with loneliness, but I find when I’m alone I find all the answers as to why I’m depressed or feeling lost. I wrote Where I Fall about this secret place and the thoughts that run through my head"

She was discovered and recruited by British extreme heavy metal band Cradle of Filth in 2013 and promoted to full-time membership in 2014. Since then she has embarked on many world tours and appears on albums Hammer of The Witches (2015) and Cryptoriana: The Seductiveness of Decay (2017), both released under Nuclear Blast Records.
In addition, Lindsay is a co-founder in the classical meets black metal ensemble Antiqva alongside co-creator and guttural vocalist Xenoyr (Ne Obliviscaris). She also has a character, Skvllcraft, modeled after her stage persona in the black metal comic Belzebubs; Lindsay contributed her vocals as said character on their album Pantheon of The Nightside Gods(2019, Century Media Records).
2019 will see the independent release of Lindsay Schoolcraft’s debut solo album Martyr. More details to follow in the Summer and Autumn months.
Cradle of Filth keyboardist and vocalist Lindsay Schoolcraft, has just released her track "See The Light". The song is from her upcoming album Martyr which will be released in October and features a guest appearance from Xenoyr of Ne Obliviscaris. The album was co-written with former Evanescence drummer Rocky Gray.
"I knew I wanted to have a duet on this album somewhere and the more I completed composing “See The Light” with Rocky Gray the more I knew Xenoyr needed to appear on it. Sometimes if you want to say something loudly it has to be screamed harshly and the more I reflected on the lyrics the more I heard many of our shared conversations. This song is open to interpretation, but I wrote it back in 2016 when it was prevalent that greed and prejudice were more valued globally over compassion and doing the right thing. Those difficult times for the world inspired this song greatly.”

Italian Dark/Gothic metal act Animae Silentes was formed in June 2015. In February 2017 the band released the debut album “Suffocated” as independent and immediately began promoting the album with a series of live shows, mainly in Northern Italy. Among the live experiences, the band shared the stage with names like Lacrimas Profundere at “Venice Vampire Fest” and also Votum and Swallow The Sun at “Metal Gates Festival” in Romania in November 2017. In the summer 2017 Animae Silentes sign a record contract with the label Sliptrick Records for the reprint and promotion of Suffocated and made it’s first foreign experience with a mini tour in Latvia.
Caligari Records has set June 22nd as the international release date for Tristengrav's striking second demo, II - Nychavge, on cassette tape format.
Tristengrav hail from Patras, Greece and released their first demo, Incendiarism of Nous, in 2018. Now, roughly a year later comes Nychavge, a four-track (plus one outro) recording featuring their unique blend of black metal with gothic rock. Imagine GISM crossed with Rozz Williams-era Christian Death or later Anti-Cimex covering Mighty Sphincter and you have some glimpse into the ever-growing madness that is Tristengrav...
"We've been a band almost two years now," the band explain. "All songs were written during a very misty period of time, where the only goal was to dive head-first into a pulpit of negative/dark visions and coming back with the results and the metamorphosis at hand. Serious introspection is required, and the inwards and backwards motto is of utter importance as one of the main aspects that the lyrics lean towards is the process of becoming - a revelation and exaltation of bestial self, a primordial state that overcomes the omnipresent sinister side, yet without denying it, but embracing its fertile scourge."
Indeed do Tristengrav experience a sort of "becoming" on Nychavge - is a compound word that means the radiance of the night - whereby the grisly, greasy heart of very ancient black metal (we're talking the first three Bathory albums here) is ripped asunder and suffused with chaotically chorused lead guitars, emitting a sinister and spectral aspect intrinsic to classic '80s goth and death-rock. While that latter aspect certainly renders Tristengrav's creations more melodic than they have any right to be, they likewise render them utterly crazed and delirious, whipping forth a D-beating maelstrom straight into the grave...or the bat-cave.
"We chose to compose the songs in a more punky way than the first EP," the band elaborates, "as we like to bastardize the genre in a way that it is more interesting to us. We'd like to have a more personal sound in black metal, but not getting away from its roots."
Sonically iconoclastic Nychavge may be, Tristengrav's heart still pumps the blackest blood:-
"Satan is also the Dionysian glorification of flesh, desire, ecstasy. Our way of saying that, aside from our opposition to the modern world of mundane trivialities and lack of spiritualism, there is this eternal symbol that feeds our primal flame, leaving us without an option of accepting defeat but with a proud struggle against the katechon."
Struggle no more and simply submit to Tristengrav's salacious and super-stylish onslaught. And they're only getting started with II - Nychavge! Get started with the aptly titled new track "Becoming" HERE at Caligari Records' Bandcamp, where the demo can also be pre-ordered.

"We are super proud to tell everyone that we signed the deal with Alpha Omega Management. We are in the process of writing and recording our new album, our goals are set high, so we need the best support possible when it comes to promotion activities. Therefore, nothing makes us happier than being able to work with these fine people. We always wanted to be able to focus primarily on our music, without having to worry about business part of things, and becoming part of Alpha Omega family will allow us to do that. Expect great thing in the future, and see you on the road!!!"

Polish Gothic / Alternative Metallers Arshenic release new single & official video 'Dear Remorse' (taken from the album 'Final Collision') through Sliptrick Records.
Dear Remorse is a music video from Arshenic’s forthcoming album Final Collision. The song has a Doom / Gothic aesthetic with female lead vocals, background screams and symphonic nuances.
The story behind the clip is referring to relationships between people living in their physical bodies and other non-physical entities like ghosts, angels or demons, presences of which all of us may sometimes experience. It also can be seen as a expression of loss, despair and abandonment when someone close to us disappears from our life.
Final Collision | Released August 20th 2019 via Sliptrick Records
