English extreme metallers Ghosts Of Atlantis unveil music video for "The Third Pillar" with magical take on Greek myth
English extreme metal group Ghosts Of Atlantis are pleased to debut their cinematic journey for the next track from their debut album "184.108.40.206". The bands sound is an epic journey for the listener, full of beautiful melodies, backed up by a crushing assault with emotive lyrics. Building the lore around the mythology of ancient Greece and Atlantis, GOA delivers it's own story, a story weaving both historic findings and fantasy storytelling.
The album begins with the track "The Third Pillar", this first track ties in with the band’s 'Three Pillar' logo, and sets the tone. The bands debut album entitled "220.127.116.11" will be out March 26th worldwide via Black Lion Records in CD, LP and digital formats.
"The Third Pillar" tells the tale of the great pilgrimage by the Atlantean people. The path to the Lemuiran Halls are treacherous, blinded by belief, the people embark across the lands. The ultimate goal being to reach the Three Pillars, it is said that the pillars are the sole point of contact with the Ghosts. The elders teach of the ability to unlock time travel and magic, yet, to raise the Ghosts, they must first survive the journey.

"Taking the listener on a journey that spans the emotional gamut, the experience is at times ominous and optimistic, set to a soundtrack that is as rich, layered, and intricate as it is well-researched." - Knotfest

Suffolk based Ghosts Of Atlantis premiers first track Halls Of Lemuria of their debut album set for release early 2021 via Black Lion records
Hailing from deepest, darkest Suffolk, Ghosts Of Atlantis are a metal band that carry a wealth of experience and professionalism. Like both Cradle Of Filth, and Devilment before it, Ghosts Of Atlantis continues the tradition and staple of the witch county trademark sound. The sound is dark and aggressive, sinister and twisted, yet universally appealing due to big chorus lines, emotive orchestration and massive hooks Sonically, the band crosses many genres and lyrical styles, from poetic spoken word elements, full choirs, and memorable choruses to guttural destruction carried forth through the main vocals. Ghosts Of Atlantis (G.O.A) features both present and past members of Devilment, Failed Humanity, The Conflict Within and Cold Lazarus.
Founder Colin Park states : "Halls of Lemuria" The road ahead is long and the elements ruthless. The Atlantian people embark on a pilgrimage to reach the great halls of Lemuria. For it is within these sacred walls, that the power to turn the tide of battle resides. The power to summon the Ghosts of Atlantis and give hope to the people of Atlantis.

German pioneers of European gothic metal, Crematory, showcase another facet of their manifold spectrum with the release of their heart-wrenching cover version of “When The Children Cry”, along with an atmospheric audio-visual.
Crematory is well known for their harsh wave of industrial metal and gothic dimness – but this cover version proves that they are maintaining versatility in the latest stage of their long career. Connie Andreszka’s powerful vocal range combined with soft plugging guitar lines, make this offering a real stunner. Especially in dark times, the popular track originally performed by White Lion regains significance, reveals a light in the night and appeals to the people’s hope.
The black and white music video presents both their passion for music and the melodic side of Crematory’s musical identity. Their latest release Unbroken connects all shades - on the one hand underlining the significance of strength and determination, while on the other, remaining faithful to the darker and existential roots of the scene the band was born in in the 90s. Crematory pursue their conquest towards the dark Parnassus of gothic metal finesse, their spirit unbroken ready to face the challenges of life.
Crematory about “When The Children Cry”:
"To shorten the time without live music caused by the Coronavirus, we recorded this cover version of White Lion's "When The Children Cry", to show that we are still here for our fans and supporters. A beautiful addition to our recently released album Unbroken (release date: march 6th via Napalm Records)!”

The symphonic/gothic metal band Graveshadow have released a new single, “Gwynnbleidd,” the Sacramento, California-based act’s first new music in two years. The track – which is now available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp and other digital platforms – marks the recording debut of the group’s new vocalist, Rachl Quinn, as well as new bassist Luci Rae. You can view a streaming audio player on YouTube - https://youtu.be/XrorDG70g3Q or find direct links at www.smarturl.com/Graveshadow
According to guitarist Aaron Robitsch,
“’Gwynnbleidd” was inspired by the popular Netflix fantasy drama ‘The Witcher.’ I initially wrote the music for the project that Will (Walker, guitars) and I were going to form when Graveshadow seemed like it was over,” he explains. “When Rachl was recruited, we felt that the song had the potential to showcase her vocals perfectly and show a strong comeback for the band. Lyrically, Rachl took inspiration from ‘The Witcher,’ continuing our trend of songs being influenced from a variety of fandoms, including ‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘World of Warcraft,’ ‘The Legend of Zelda’ and ‘Doctor Who.’”
“I’m really excited about this track. I feel it showcases the next natural evolution of Graveshadow’s sound, and Aaron did a fantastic job composing it. It was also the first chance we got to work with Rachl in a writing capacity, and I’m thrilled with how it turned out. I was on a huge ‘Witcher’ kick, so when Rachl wanted the lyrics to centre on Geralt and Ciri’s relationship, I was on board immediately. We’ve always enjoyed weaving lyrics about our favourite stories into our music, and I think this is one that our fans are really going to enjoy. It showcases a leap forward in the guitar work, and the orchestrations are bombastic and uplifting at the same time. This is just a taste of what we’ll be releasing later this year, and I feel it’s a damn fine first sip!”
“Gwynnbleidd” is expected to appear on Graveshadow's forthcoming EP, which will further showcase the potential displayed on their 2015 debut “Nocturnal Resurrection” and “Ambition's Price,” both of which saw the group deftly mix symphonic and gothic metal with elements of doom, thrash and epic progressive power metal. Additional details on the new release will follow in the coming months.
Since forming in 2013, Graveshadow have earned extensive praise for mixing fantasy-based lyrics with crushing guitars, beautiful keyboard melodies, thundering bass, earth-shattering drums and powerful vocals that range from operatic highs to unearthly growls, creating a rich and dynamic musical atmosphere that is ripe for storytelling. The group has built a steady following in the Western United States in recent years through regional tours and performances alongside the likes of Sirenia, Tarja, Angra, Arkona, Children of Bodom, Apocalyptica, Marty Friedman, Death Angel, Flotsam and Jetsam and Anvil.

German Dark Metallers Lord Of The Lost to release new ensemble album, Swan Songs III, via Napalm Records on August 7th 2020
Dark metal sensation Lord Of The Lost returns with their newest offer in their classic ensemble album series: Swan Songs III, the long-awaited successor to Swan Songs II, will be released via Napalm Records on August 7, 2020.
Deeply emotional storytelling melding with beautiful harmonies and Chris Harms’ palpitation-inducing deep vocals make Swan Songs III absolutely exceptional. The first single, “A One Ton Heart”, presents itself as a powerful ballad that makes the listener dive away with heavenly piano parts, underlined by delicate acoustic guitars and soft drum rhythms that take the listener onto a musical journey.
Watch the absolutely outstanding and surprisingly historical video – featuring hand saws, classical string instruments and the beauty of violence – below!
Lord Of The Lost on the new single and video:
“Since the founding of Lord Of The Lost, we have been wanting to shoot a video like this one. Unfortunately, none of our songs have ever fit to such a video. That hasn’t really changed with “A One Ton Heart”, but we didn’t want to wait any longer. So the video - in its non-existent statement - and our absurd looks have absolutely nothing to do with the song. Fortunately, the song didn’t care about that at all. And we have fulfilled another dream.”

LORD OF THE LOST on the album:
"The Swan Songs project started as a musical infidelity, continued in a beloved carry-on and became like a second musical DNA. Meanwhile, we feel at home in our second musical facet, as well as in our classifying LORD OF THE LOST sound / shell. Swan Songs III has a musical depth that even surprises ourselves with a certain distance to its finishing. It is by no means the last part of a trilogy, but so far our personal highlight of LORD OF THE LOST’s classical-career.”

The Italian Gothic Metalcore band Levania is glad to reveal the new video for “Reflections”, the second single taken from their last EP “Episode 0” released via Sliptrick Records.
Watch "Reflections" now: https://youtu.be/QPukuk5f8J0
The video has been produced by the directors Simone Furia and Michelangelo Ingrosso.
The singer Elena Taby, comments:
“Today, we all live in a sick society, we are losing sincerity, human relationships and empathy. Humanity is regressing to "homo homini lupus", but we have the opportunity to reverse this process with culture and art. In every single action we do we have a chance, leaving the instinct that leads us to the fear of the unknown or, thanks to art in all its forms, trying not to regress to a primitive status.
We tried to include all these concepts in our new work, representing them as much as possible with colours and vibrations.”

Levania, the gothic metalcore group from Italy, have released an official video for the track Reflections, taken from their recent mini-EP Episode 0 released via Sliptrick Records on August 2nd 2019. Here’s what the band had to say about their latest track:-
“We’re very proud to announce our latest video for the track Reflections. We started a journey with the EP Episode 0 (where the track is taken from) and Reflections represents the thousands of idiosyncrasies that affected our lifestyle. Today we live in a sick society. We are losing sincerity, human relations and empathy. Humanity is regressing to a “homo homini lupus” level but, we have got a chance to invert this process with …education! In every single action we make we have a possibility; allow the instinct that leads to the fear of the unknown or, thanks to education, trying not to regress in ourselves to beasts.
We tried to put everything into our newest video/work with as much colour and vibes as possible.”
The EP opens up with Abyss, a song that addresses the issue of depression, analysing how one can become slaves to one’s demons. Abyss also addresses the issue of moral hazard, when one has to choose how to deal with discomfort. This is followed with Reflections which talks about the all-Italian problem of functional illiteracy. Man is a social animal but if he is not educated, he will remain an animal moved by primitive instincts. In this society appearance is more important than education, and this is leading to an involution of the species.
Episode 0 closes with Reckoning, an instrumental outro, both alluring and seductive. Read more about Episode 0 …here

Australian Symphonic / Gothic Metallers Victoria K sign to Rockshots Records; debut album "Essentia" out this April
Rockshots Records is proud to announce their signing of Australia's Victoria K for the release of her debut album "Essentia" coming April 2020. The full length was produced by Lee Bradshaw and features special guest Michalina Malisz (Eluveitie).
The Melbourne singer/songwriter has made her mark on the rock and metal scene with the release of her debut single 'Monster' in 2016, featuring guitar work by Brett Garsed (John Farnham Band) along with her 2019 follow up track 'Lacuna' distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Warner Music Group (Australia) and is the lead single off the upcoming album.
The single garnered a lot of media praise and created an opportunity for Victoria K to support Swiss folk metal giants Eluveitie for their May 2019 tour date in Melbourne, a performance that had the crowd chanting for an encore.
Although the album was originally a solo project, it has now developed into the current band structure with each member bringing their own energy and experience to the collective. The band is looking forward to collaborating on future releases and is now heavily focused on the release of this debut full length in April 2020.
Victoria K adds:
"'Essentia' is Latin for Essence. Essence is the indispensable quality of something that determines its very nature or character. So I guess the album as a whole tries to tackle and define the very nature of humanity. In a way, I’m trying to unravel the complexity of human essence and emotion. It all hopefully leads to being struck by a moment of Sonder - therefore the realization that everyone, including strangers, has a life as complex as our own, despite our lack of awareness of it."
Victoria K's talented songwriting and compositional influences include Evanescence, Within Temptation, Nightwish and Kamelot amongst other current bands in the European metal scene and her music have been likened to be a blend of these influences. Victoria K has racked up hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube with her own original creations and through featured videos alongside a number of talented musicians covering a plethora of songs. Victoria K's covers include Iron Maiden's "The Trooper", Nightwish's "Last Ride of the Day", Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" and Kamelot's "Insomnia", the latter of which received attention from the band themselves on Twitter and led to a meeting of talents when the American power metal band found themselves in Melbourne during their 2018 'The Shadow Theory' Australian tour.
