In 2007, Spiral emerges recorded at Ultrasound Studios and produced by Daniel Cardoso (Anathema) and, like its predecessor, played an important role in the band's consolidation in the Portuguese metal scene, gathering excellent reviews, national and international. After an interregnum of 11 years, Godiva returns to the stage, debuting their new line-up and sound with a memorable concert at Vagos Metal Fest, accompanied by an orchestra of about 50 musicians and a sold out concert at Hard Rock Café Porto. This year we were lucky, even with COVID-19 restrictions, enough to give two concerts this summer, both sold out: one in Lisbon, at RCA Club in a special edition of Laurus Nobilis Music Fest and recently on the latest edition of Riverstone Fest.
Genre-merging Amberian Dawn does not shy away from experimenting with musical styles and combining nostalgic earworms with their dashing trademark sound. With their newest single “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)” vocalist Capri’s angelic voice merges with electrifying soundscapes to transform this ABBA classic into a metal experience never heard before. The track comes with an exciting lyric video and is cut from their upcoming covers album, bringing world famous songs by the legendary ABBA into the metal world. Take A Chance – A Metal Tribute to ABBA will be released on December 2, 2022 via Napalm Records. Following their passion, this album pays tribute to one of their biggest inspirations and ushers in the dawn of an entirely new spin on the metal genre. Tuomas Seppälä on the new single: “This was an easy and obvious pick for this album. The song is a true masterpiece. It was easy to arrange into a metal version. For a while, I considered replacing the famous keyboard lead intro with guitar, but quite soon I wanted to keep the lead part played with keyboards. It gives more ABBA feeling to the song. Capri sings amazingly, once again. And for the very first time, we had a chance for our bassist to play slap bass in the middle part of the song. It's rarely heard in metal music.” Pre-order the new album NOW! In the following formats: 1 LP Gatefold Gold 1 CD - Digisleeve Digital Album Amberian Dawn are:-

This film is a real gem, and the single had to be crafted to meet the feel of the Movie. The song itself, is a departure from the usual GOA mythology and sound, but we feel it truly galvanises our projects together, and we are both over the moon with the outcome, and you will be too!!! We are privileged to work with such a bunch of like minded fruit loops, hell bent on bringing meaningful impactful content to all you lot!!!" As a first taste of what can be expected, Amberian Dawn have released the first single from the album, entitled “SOS“, plus a new lyric video. This inarguable evergreen the metal unit has skilfully re-imagined implements their own characteristic sound - showing their full range with trademark ABBA-flavoured keys, renowned lyrics and a guitar driven sound to create a unique experience. Tuomas Seppälä on the new single: “’SOS’ is a great song. It's both a happy and sad song at the same time. The original version uses a unique piano sound. I didn’t want to use that kind of piano sound myself, because it wouldn’t have been as good as the original, so instead of that, I used more powerful guitars and other synthesizers in our arrangement. Our version of the song really brings ABBA into the world of metal in the 21st century.” Watch the video HERE: Continuing their legacy from the previous album, Looking For You (2020), Amberian Dawn have assembled to follow their passion and take a chance at being the dawn of a new era for the metal genre with Take A Chance – A Metal Tribute to ABBA. Introducing ABBA-Metal, the band does not shy away from experimenting with genres while still staying true to their metal origins. Earworms combined with characteristic Amberian Dawn elements truly metallicize the ABBA legacy and transform it into a metal experience like never heard before. With skilfully implemented synthesizers creating vintage sounding keys, guitar riffs and vocalist Capri’s angelic voice, the original lines immerse perfectly with rocking instrumentals. Dashing drums ensure a high-paced experience that expresses the band’s identity without losing the catchy ABBA-reminiscent keyboards, renowned lyrics and nostalgic feeling of the original. Including evergreens like “Mamma Mia” and “Super Trouper”, Amberian Dawn enchants with a variety of tracks. Representing a wide array of ABBA songs from high energy to moving metal ballads like “Like An Angel Walking Through My Room”, the band delivers astounding ABBA-Metal to a broad audience. So Take A Chance on Amberian Dawn’s new album and get lost anew in the glorious new metal world of ABBA. Tuomas Seppälä on the album: “This was a ‘must do album’ for me. We had so much fun in 2019 working on our first cover song ever (which was ABBA’s ‘Lay All Your Love On Me’), that it was easy to make a decision to continue with a full ABBA covers album. The songs have been carefully selected, there’s a couple of big hit songs of course, but some of my personal favourites, like ‘The Day Before You Came’, are also included. The recording project was eventually a really big challenge for all of us and needed a lot of work, but we’re all 100% satisfied with the results. This album really sounds like an Amberian Dawn album.” Take A Chance – A Metal Tribute to ABBA is available in the following formats:
American blackened symphonic deathcore A Wake In Providence release new single 'We Are Eternity'25/9/2022 New York, USA deathcore band A Wake In Providence have released their mighty new single 'We Are Eternity', taken from their highly-anticipated new record Eternity, to be released 21st October via Unique Leader Records.
The band comment: "We are so excited to bring you, 'We Are Eternity'! This song really brings more of this story to the table and gives you great insight into who The Trinity is and what role they play in this narrative. Thank you to everyone involved with creating this and to you all for checking it out!" Formed in 2010 from unremarkable beginnings, A Wake In Providence diligently grew to become the renowned and otherworldly force they are today. Originally a heavier-than-your-average deathcore act, the band’s debut 2010 demo and 2012 debut EP Serpents saw them infusing a raw and ruthless take on traditional deathcore with contemporary metallic elements to make something sharp enough to cut its way through the thicket of bland, boring heavy music acts. While Serpents gained the band notoriety in their local area, it wasn’t until the release of their sophomore EP, Insidious, that the band went from prodigally talented to true rising stars in the heavy music community. Adding a liberal dose of downtempo deathcore to their instrumental stylings, Insidious earned the band global infamy and critical acclaim, as well as tours with some of the underground’s bigger names-including In Dying Arms, Extortionist and Lorna Shore, as well as several smaller solo runs along the East Coast. Never ones to remain complacent, A Wake In Providence grew once more in 2016, with the addition of Will Ramos (now with Lorna Shore), but also with their drastic stylistic change, omitting their penchant for low, slow downtempo deathcore in favour of a renewed focus on more aggressive, fast and furious traditional deathcore elements with a razor-sharp technical twist. Combining marvellous metallic riffs with crushing breakdowns and shrill, sinister vocals to create an intense onslaught unlike any other band in the heavy music scene, A Wake In Providence are vile enough to make the sewers look clean, and vicious enough to tear the still-beating heart out of the listener's chest. Now a quartet with new vocalist Adam Mercer and signing with the legendary Unique Leader Records, A Wake In Providence's status looks set to only rise further. A Wake In Providence are:

Symphonic gothic metal band Belle Morte is proud to present their video for the single "Krew", featuring: Yaroslav Dzhus (bandura), Alex Pilkevych, and Ada Rusinkiewicz (vocals).
The idea of ‘Krew’ appeared in February. When the war began, we were completely devastated and heartbroken. As a Belarusian band, we have strong connections with Ukraine: we have relatives and friends living there, and in general, it was always perceived as somewhat native land to us. Moreover, Belarusian territory was used by the Russian army, horrific betrayal and burden of shame. We decided to compose this song to reflect our complex feelings and search for some deliverance in art. From the very beginning, we had an intention to show the proximity of 3 languages and 3 cultures, so we’ve also involved Polish and Ukrainian singers Ada Rusinkiewicz (Hethet) and Alex Pilkevych to reflect their own perspectives and Yaroslav Dzhus to recorded bandura, traditional Ukrainian folk instrument. Everyone participating in this project had full freedom to express their feelings. Belarusian lyrics written by Brat K. are focusing on the common pain and grief we experience. Ukrainian lyrics by Alex reflect on the time in the past when he used to live in Kiev, at the trail to notorious Irpin. In the Polish parts, Ada talks about the duality she’s experiencing in her country. There are a lot of fantastic, helpful people, who are doing their best to help Ukrainians but there are also a lot of insecurities and fear. In the screaming parts, Ada wanted to pay respect to people who are suffering in silence today. One day they will be heard and we hope it will stop trauma from growing. The song’s title “Krew’ or “Blood” has multiple meanings. It’s about blood bonds that unite us, it’s about the blood of innocent people shed in this treacherous war. Line up
Non Serviam Records is happy to announce the signing of the exciting symphonic black metal band Mist Of Misery from Stockholm, Sweden. Mist Of Misery was formed by Mortuz Denatus (Vanhelga) in 2010 in the northern suburbs of Stockholm with the vision to create music that was based on melancholy, darkness, depression and atmosphere. The band released the EP "Bleak Autumn" EP, followed by the full-length album by the same name in 2011. The EP "Temple Of Stilled Voices" saw the light of the day in 2013. Mist Of Misery released their second full-length entitled "Abscence" in 2016 which showcased the progression the band had made since their early days. Thanks to its blend of atmospheric black metal and symphonic and depressive elements, the album was very well received around the world getting tremendous reviews. Before its release, Livsnekaren had joined the band on drums and was soon followed by Tenebris (ex-Vanhelga and ex-GRÁ), who joined the band on bass for various live performances and later became a permanent member in 2017. The band followed up the critically acclaimed album with two EP’s in 2017 entitled "Shackles of Life" and "Fields of Isolation". The following years Mist Of Misery performed at festivals in Bulgaria, Germany and Wales as well as various gigs in their own home country while writing their next album. It garnered much praise and paved the way for another evolution in the soundscape of Mist Of Misery, which was made evident when the band began working on a new album, along with the new singer Änglamakaren (Night Crowned). The writing of their new effort took the band’s symphonic sound to new heights. Mist Of Misery finished the recording of the album in early 2022 and soon signed with Non Serviam Records, with a planned release this Fall.
