Napalm Records is proud to announce the signing of England's black metal legends, Winterfylleth. To celebrate this new partnership, the band unveils a new album, "The Unyielding Season", set for release on 27th March. Making a stand, Winterfylleth's ninth album is a social commentary wrapped in meticulously crafted poetry and prose. Where the preceding album, The Imperious Horizon (2024), described an ominous, malevolent force, lurking in the distance, The Unyielding Season now explores said threat becoming a reality. The raging wildfire to its predecessor’s calculating, icy cold, Winterfylleth’s first offering for their new record label is a reflection and a rebellion against the turmoil tearing individuals apart. It is a cry against the unsustainable weight of fear and pressure being pushed into the world, by the agents of an non-resting, and unyielding force for evil. The first glimpse into the infernal release is 'Heroes of a Hundred Fields'. Winterfylleth weave an epic story into a raging battle hymn, describing brave minds joining forces against a common oppressor to fight for their freedom.
Winterfylleth about 'Heroes of a Hundred Fields"- "'Heroes of a Hundred Fields’ is framed in a wartime, battlefield setting and uses the premise of soldiers coming together, united as brothers, to fight against a foe who are powerful, oppressive, and domineering. It talks about how people should come together and fight for the freedoms they have and not succumb to those who would attack them and try to weaken them (or take them away entirely). There have been so many ideas and schemes pushed into the world over the last few years that only serve to erode people’s personal freedoms, slowly, little-by-little, until they are gone. This song talks about ‘lighting the beacons of rebellion’ against those who would seek to undermine the way of life and freedom that we all – hopefully – hold dear.” Where our surroundings grow more challenging every day, Winterfylleth offers a pause for respite and resistance. The world is on fire, and The Unyielding Season is a warning. Winterfylleth about The Unyielding Season: “2026 marks a year of big changes for Winterfylleth! A new label, a new member, a new album, and the landmark of 20 years making music together. We are enthused by what this new chapter will bring, and as a result, we are now able to share our ninth album, The Unyielding Season, with the world. It is also a powerful and virulent first output, through which we seal our new collaboration with Napalm Records. In many ways, the new album is a reflection on – and a rebellion against – the turmoil’s and fears that are tearing the lives of many individuals apart. It is a cry against the unsustainable & constant weight of malevolence and pressure being pushed into the world by agents of an un-resting and unyielding force for evil. We hope the album resonates with you, stirs your soul, and gives you a source for hope. But, we also hope it makes you ask questions of your own circumstances and gives you pause to consider the unnerving state of the world we all share.”
'Heroes of a Hundred Fields' is the first revolt on their ten-song manifesto, describing brave minds joining forces against a common oppressor to fight for their freedom. The song unfolds in marvellous grandeur as chants of “Rebellions beacons now alight”, ring out against a tide of evil. With 'Echoes In The After', Winterfylleth deliver a striking epic: adapted from a poem by Sir Philip Sidney’s late 16th-century romance “The Countess Of Pembroke’s Arcadia”, the track was written as a reaction to the felling of the famous 'Robin Hood' tree at Sycamore Gap on Hadrian’s Wall, in the North East of the UK. The following track, 'A Hollow Existence', opens up with galloping drums and explodes into equally aggressive and atmospheric black metal fireworks. The band’s trademark sound continues throughout 'Perdition’s Flame' into the album’s title track, a powerful observation of our world’s current situation and a voice for those silenced by its hostility. Atmospheric masters Winterfylleth then pause their rage, making room for 'Unspoken Elegy', an acoustic guitar-driven instrumental enriched by equally hopeful and menacing cello melodies, a hauntingly beautiful illustration of the dichotomy within The Unyielding Season. 'In Ashen Wake' takes up the perilous undertone, taking its time before unveiling itself as another highly melodic black metal saga. 'Toward Elysium' expands on that with a strong, old-school-inspired guitar riff, thrilling and catchy. Following another instrumental, the beautifully structured 'Where Dreams Once Grew', Winterfylleth end the album running order with a bonus track, a cover of fellow Brits Paradise Lost’s 'Enchantment', originally released as the opening track on their 1995 classic Draconian Times. Winterfylleth will bring The Unyielding Season to the stage this April, touring the UK and Ireland alongside Blackbraid and Noctem.

L.A. Trap Metallers Love Ghost unleash 'Vengeance', the first single from their forthcoming EP17/1/2026 Founded by vocalist / guitarist Finnegan Bell, Love Ghost is an enigmatic Los Angeles-based act known for its distinctive blend of grunge, indie / alt-rock, emo, metal and trap rock coupled with mature, poetic lyrics. Their raw, energetic sound has earned numerous plaudits, while a series of collaborations with a wide variety of other artists have broadened the group's cross-genre appeal. Their new single, ‘Vengeance’, is an uptempo hard rock song about gaining revenge. An epic guitar riff, soaring vocal and football stadium chant of “Ave Ultio” (‘Hail Vengeance’) lend the track an anthemic quality, with entire audiences heard repeating it when played during the band's recent live sets. ‘Vengeance' is produced by rock and metal musician Tim Skold, best known for his hitmaking tenure with Marilyn Manson, and is the first to be lifted from ‘Anarchy And Ashes’, a forthcoming new EP by Love Ghost that is an electrifying collision of hard rock power and industrial grit that captures them at their most urgent and unapologetic. Scheduled for release on 27th March 2026 on Metropolis Records, it will be promoted with a month long European tour commencing in early April. Bell and Skold had previously teamed up in 2024 to make the well received album ‘Love Ghost X SKOLD’, also issued via Metropolis. LOVE GHOST - ANARCHY AND ASHES - EUROPEAN TOUR 2026

The track extends an important proclamation against bullying through the eyes and experiences of frontman Lewis de Jong. Lewis de Jong says about "Down The Rabbit Hole": "This was an absolute blast to film! 'Down The Rabbit Hole' represents the growth I've experienced throughout my life and putting to bed demons from the past. The video captures the meaning well - the broken objects representing said demons. It’s the rough times in life that make you who you are, as long as you rise above it." Late last year, the band dropped a duo of singles ('Asylum' and 'Burn My Misery') ahead of their 5-track debut EP, ‘What Is It / Kill It’, which arrived at DSPs on November 12th. UK TOUR DATES – SEPTEMBER 2021 21st – Glasgow, The SSE Hydro 22nd – Cardiff, Motorpoint Arena 24th – Sheffield, FlyDSA Arena 25th – Birmingham, Utilita Arena 26th – London The O2 Arena Scarlet Aura have become a staple in the European metal scene with their powerful live shows and crushing heavy metal. After touring internationally with artists like Rhapsody of Fire, Tarja, Beast in Black and Soto, releasing critically acclaimed albums and gaining steady followers on all channels, Scarlet Aura are now set to release their fifth album “Stormbreaker” and just shared the album’s cover art, tracklisting and release date with their fans for their anticipated new album. The brand-new album “Stormbreaker” features the previously released single track ‘High in the Sky’ which debuted live during their summer tour. Check out the music video ‘High in The Sky’ as first single from the new album “Stormbreaker” here https://youtu.be/xg-4sWp_QzY The new album “Stormbreaker” will also mark the official release of the second fantasy book volume from the same trilogy. Scarlet Aura continues the conceptual “The Book Of Scarlet Trilogy” showing who they are through the musical and the lyrical part. The new album and book release date are set for 27th of March 2020. Aura, the front lady, states:- “As an artist I`m not afraid to dig into the unknown by approaching sensible subjects in our songs, subjects like the difficulty of being honest with others but also with yourself regarding your own feelings, the need of overcoming a huge sufferance that troubles you, the lack of courage when it`s about doing the right thing, the lack of love or the crying for it… subjects that make ourselves human, subjects that are in each one of us and that makes us who we are and maybe throughout our music, we get recovered, healed or better, we discover ourselves for who we really are because with any doubt music heals the spirit, metal heals the heart. And so Stormbreaker was born and got the fantasy clothing as the second album from “The Book Of Scarlet” Trilogy which became without even knowing in advance, a journey, a process of getting our true self out there through this unique process of enjoying the combination between metal music and fantasy literature. The release album concerts will be true shows of spark in which we`ll use the amazing prop that will give you the goose bumps of the Scarlet world so join us, let`s make this 2020 tour into a sold out one, it will be definitely worth it!“. Guitarist Mihai adds:- “Stormbreaker continues the heavy metal statement we started with Hail To You and although “The Book Of Scarlet” trilogy takes these albums into a fantasy world of discovering Scarlet, I think we`ll all realize after listening that actually Scarlet is in each one of us. Stormbreaker comes rough, it comes straight forward, it comes in your face with the powerful rhythms, edgy guitar riffs, almost psychedelic guitar solos, hard crunchy bass lines, modulations and surprises at every step not giving you the time to get bored but to want more after every song, all of us exceeding even our own expectations. After I finished the production for Stormbreaker I was surprised of our evolution, I think it`s the best album Scarlet Aura had so far, I think it comes with the fresh sound and approach the heavy metal stage needs, I`m proud of how far we`ve got and I hope you`ll be too by coming to our shows and supporting the band. Can`t wait to see you out there!” Dr. Tatyana Shubina, Managing Director of Silver City Records points out:- “Eastern European countries and particularly Romania haven’t brought many metal bands on the international metal music radar, making with Scarlet Aura a beautiful exception also by their sparkling and full of energy fronted female singer, by their message full of light, by their powerful sound, unique guitar solos, song writing and the fantasy behind all this. Scarlet Aura in one word? Exceptional!” The album was recorded in Bucharest at Silver City Studio and written, mixed, engineered and produced by Mihai Danciulescu, founder and guitar player of Scarlet Aura, with lyrics written by Aura Danciulescu. The album and the book will be released by Silver City Records, the band's own record label. Accompanying the announcement of the release, Scarlet Aura will kick off a European wide tour in spring 2020 that will lead them through Germany, Switzerland, France, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, The Netherlands, Austria, Romania and Bulgaria.
