Formed in early 2019 by long time friends Kyle Mortiss and Morgan Weeds with the desire to bring a fresh type of Nu Metal into the world of music, the duo quickly started looking for musicians to round out the band. Kyle recruited former band mate Christian Elvins on rhythm guitar and long time friend Chris Watkins on bass and then after auditioning drummers, deciding on Luke Hill, former Hells Bells and Body Harvest beats man.
After writing a single and 5 other tracks which would constitute their debut EP, Red Flag, they hit the studio with Jeff Rose (Bullet For My Valentine, Trivium, Glamour Of The Kill, Wreckage Of Society, Etc) to record the resulting tracks. On completion of the recording, the band parted with rhythm guitarist Christian Elvins and bassist Chris Watkins, and they were replaced with Kyle Zehtabi on rhythm guitar and Matthew Hulin on bass finally forming the current solid line-up of Malicious Inc..
Having signed with Sliptrick Records, the group will be releasing the Red Flag EP soon with the single Bone & Mortar preceding that on September 20th …but they are not resting on their laurels just yet. Malicious Inc. are already working on follow up material for what will be their debut album.
In preparation for these releases, they will be playing a preview show on August 25th at Taboo Nightclub in Bristol (Club night with Ghetto Viking Music and Clothing afterwards).

Japanese superstars Man With A Mission have announced the release of their brand new single ‘Fly Again 2019’. The band have released an amazing video for the song, filmed at their recent 50,000 capacity headline show at the Hanshin Koshien Stadium, capturing the huge scale of the Japanese rock phenomenon and their rapturous following.
Originally released as the B-side of their debut single in Japan in 2011, ‘Fly Again’ was quick to turn into a tearaway hit for Man With A Mission in their homeland. It is a massive live favourite with fans of the stadium rock stars and the phenomenal demand for the track has not let up in eight years. And now, due to its continued stature as a huge live hit with their fans around the world, the song has been chosen to be a featured track in tonight’s episode (April 29th) of the TV show Radiation House, adapted from the hit manga series.
Man With A Mission have now re-recorded it for an international release proper as ‘FLY AGAIN 2019’; a hi-octane cut with danceable rock riffs, vinyl scratching and one of the most addictive and inescapable choruses ever to come out of Asia.
Having now sold out a number of headline tours in the UK following the release of their massively acclaimed debut international album "Chasing The Horizon" last year, the band return this summer to play Download Festival on June 14th.
‘Fly Again 2019’ is available to stream on YouTube now, and will be made available to download and listen on all streaming platforms from May 10th worldwide.

Man With A Mission were recently featured as cover stars of Rock Sound Magazine and have been receiving Radio 1 support. Following their numerous sell out stadium tours in their home country, they have also completed headline tours of the UK, Europe and US.
The band were met by a rapturous response from fans when they played Reading & Leeds Festival last year for the first time to an overflowing tent.
For The Wicked, a Trapcore (self titled ‘’Fake Metal’’) band from Transylvania, Romania, has released a new video called Beez Neez
Beez Neez is about the current state of their Balkan country where ‘’the church’’ has a major influence on people’s lives more or less subliminally dictating what they think and feel by a gospel of fear and greed. This unfortunate condition may be used by those that have luckily skipped the mindless brainwashing as the motivation to accomplish anything and stand for their own actions with confidence, while turning their backs on a prefabricated artificial ‘’god’’, a boogie-man meant to scare those that try to catch glimpses of what’s behind the still standing walls of post-communism.
The video for Beez Neez is out now can be seen HERE
About For the Wicked
Gabriel Ichim- Bassist
Founded in Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania, in 2015, For the Wicked was considered one of the most interesting and ambitious band appearances on the metal scene in Romania combining heavy riffs with aggressive vocals and catchy choruses in order to deliver a sort of modern metalcore/nu-metal hybrid.
They have won several awards in their first year of existence (2015): Best Metal Newcomer at Metalhead Awards, The Grand Prize at Posada Rock and The Low4Bass Studio award at G.B.O.B. Romania. Although the band consisted of young musicians, hard work and perseverance are key and they have managed to prove their worth through the impeccable quality of their first EP titled ‘’Trust your Heart''. The mastering was done in the United States by Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, Emmure, The Devil Wears Prada etc.), while recording and mixing were done by one of the band‘s guitarists, Vlad Bornuz at Digital Dark Vision studio in Cluj-Napoca. In less than six months after launching their first EP, the band performed an important series of concerts in Romania and didn’t wait too long before launching and promoting their second EP ‘’II’’ with a series of over 30 concerts, starting on the 23rd of September 2016.
In about two years of existence, the guys were quite active and busy and have successfully held over 80 concerts in Romania and abroad, many of which were completely insane regarding the synergy between the band and the audience. They have shared the stage with bands like Suicide Silence (USA), Emmure (USA), Comeback Kid (Can), Jinjer (Ukr), Lostbone (Pol) , When Reasons Collapse (Fr), To Kill Achilles (UK), Helia (RSM) and took part of the Romanian "Red Bull Tour Bus" tour. In the spring on 2017 For the Wicked held their first tour that exceeded the borders of their home country, ''The Fake Metal Tour 2017'', which saw them playing in 4 locations in the south of France and 3 locations in Romania with their new friends Ze Gran Zeft. In the fall of 2017 they embarked on their first Eastern and Southern European tour alongside Exist Immortal and played quite a few shows in Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Serbia and Hungary. The two bands turned out to be a great combo and it’s safe to say that those who attended the shows were in for a treat.
Even though the band has always been in a constant search for its identity and its own style, the beginning of 2018 found the guys more confident than ever to change things up a bit and take the previous blend of rap and metal to a new level mixing trap with nu metal, hardcore and beatdown elements. They can finally call what they are doing as ‘’fake metal’’ because there is nothing ‘’true’’ about it, in the classic sense of the term ‘’true metal’’.
In 2016, Russian group Slot released their successful seventh studio album Septima released internationally via Sliptrick Records. On the day of its release, the album took first place on the overall iTunes chart, and one of its singles, Circles On The Water, became yet another hit for the band with YouTube views of the track exceeding several million. Besides this, lead singer Nookie successfully performed on the Russian show version of “The Voice” on the First Channel, and became one of its most notable and successful participants.
2017 turned out to be just as intense if not more; because this was the year Slot celebrated their fifteenth anniversary. To celebrate the occasion, the group went on a massive anniversary tour, covering dozens of major Russian cities.
Along with a tour for fans, the band wanted give their followers even more to celebrate by now issuing a greatest hits release "15 (The Best of)" featuring 19 tracks that includes an unreleased songs and four rare versions of well-known material via Sliptrick Records. Said Disturbed: -
“It is with tremendous pride, joy, and anticipation that we look forward to sharing the next chapter in the creative life of Disturbed with the world. This record is truly unique, and very special to us, and we can only hope that upon listening to it, that the world will feel the same. The record showcases the most adventurous and eclectic combination of musical styles and moods that we’ve ever attempted in our careers. Each song truly has its own identity, feel, and power.
The writing and recording sessions that fostered this album were truly an emotional and magical experience for us, creating without boundaries or limitations, and simply going where each day’s musical inspiration led us. Influenced by some of the great classic rock records of our youth, it is an experience unlike anything we’ve previously created. Its time is drawing near for the world to finally hear what is undoubtedly the most daring record of our lives. Evolution is coming. Are you ready?”
‘Evolution’ makes good on the promise of its title. Disturbed unwaveringly cling to the uncompromising spirit that solidified them as a history-making force, while boldly progressing at the same time. Reteaming with ‘Immortalized’ producer Kevin Churko behind the board at the Hideout in Las Vegas, the musicians – David Draiman (vocals), Dan Donegan (guitar), Mike Wengren (drums) and John Moyer (bass) – retain their signature thunderous grooves and hypnotic heaviness as they further refine their ambitious melodies and penchant for progression, spanning the gamut of their potential.
Preceding the announcement, Disturbed engaged their diehard fan base to actually choose the first single – another historic first. They launched a site giving fans the option to vote for a heavy song or a ballad. The people spoke and picked ‘Are You Ready’.
‘Evolution’ arrives in the wake of the group’s 2015 album ‘Immortalized’, which became their fifth consecutive #1 debut on the Billboard Top 200, That accolade elevated them alongside Metallica, the only other hard rock group to do so in the history of the chart. The album also earned a platinum certification, and yielded the triple-platinum crossover smash ‘The Sound of Silence’ which received a nomination at the 2017 Grammy Awards for Best Rock Performance.
Disturbed have sold 16 million albums globally. Their quadruple-platinum 2000 debut ‘The Sickness’ formally announced their arrival as hard rock leaders, with that status solidified by subsequent Grammy Award nominations as well as gold, platinum and double platinum-certified records together with countless sold-out shows around the globe.

German nu-metalcore act Heruin has officially unveiled their debut EP, Addict. The five-song release is now available worldwide. You may have previously stumbled upon their anthemic Sworn In-meets-Korn single "Haunted" or the headbang neck-breaker title track, but now you can listen to the full package.

Alike the aforementioned songs, "Gore" will have you seeing red in the mosh pit right before singing along for the catchy chorus. "Love" digs deep into djent territory, yet still maintains that classic metalcore vibe with a spine-chilling clean vocal verse. And if you're searching for a bit of nu-metal nostalgia, give "Issue" a spin. For anyone big on modern nu-metalcore acts like Sylar or Cane Hill, this will most definitely be up your alley.
Heruin is a recently formed project based in Munich, Germany consisting of Darius Asgarian (vocals), Benjamin Cepiga (guitar), Ludwig Urban (guitar), Jonas Hoelscher (bass), and Aaron Dylan Rusch (drums). Their style is both reminiscent of nu-metal bands like Korn and Linkin Park as well as more modern metalcore groups including Sworn In or My Ticket Home. With a ferocious groove and harsh vocals building up to a huge, hooky chorus, you'll want to jump on the bandwagon immediately before these guys explode.
Check out the band's merch here and stay tuned for more Heruin videos and announcements!
