Ukrainian Modern Melodic metal band Scarleth has inked a worldwide deal with Rockshots Records for the release of the brand new album "VORTEX", coming out next November 15, 2019.

Band’s style is expanding constantly and represents mind-blowing mixture of many melodic genres – from power, folk, doom and gothic metal to modern/progressive metal. Swiss Heavy Metallers Megaton Sword premiere new track at "Deaf Forever" magazine's website

Swiss metal warriors Megaton Sword premiere the new track "Vulva of the Nightfall" at Deaf Forever magazine's website. The track hails from the band's striking debut EP, Niralet, now set for international release on November 8th via Dying Victims Productions. Hear Megaton Sword's "Vulva of the Nightfall" in its entirety exclusively HERE.

Hailing from Switzerland and founded in 2018, Megaton Sword are ever aptly monikered: theirs is a nuclear-powered style of true-as-steel HEAVY METAL drunk on high fantasy and the enduring themes of conquest and valor, triumph and tragedy. The band's first public recording is titled Niralet, and it arrives as a fully formed document of a young band already capitalizing on their considerable strengths. The quartet - vocalist Uzzy Unchained, guitarist Chris the Axe, bassist Simon the Sorcerer, and drummer Dan Thundersteel - here create five mini-epics that feel far vaster than their succinct track times suggest. Perhaps it's the patient pacing they employ, allowing each bellow of bathos and push of pathos to ring out and as true as possible; perhaps it's the passion and machismo dripping from every element, every drop of blood, sweat, and tears tangible and intense; or perhaps it's Niralet simultaneously sounding timeless and fresh, safely evading both rote "retro" throwback and over-modernity in kind.

We can make references to '80s Manowar, Warlord, and Manilla Road as well as maybe early Running Wild or Nasty Savage, but even this early on, Megaton Sword are being no one but themselves. Wield Megaton Sword and begin the quest to Niralet!

American Groove Metallers Hellyeah honour the late Vinnie Paul with new album 'Welcome Home'

Hard rock purveyors Hellyeah have released their sixth studio album, Welcome Home, via Eleven Seven Music. It’s comes after almost 12 years since the release of their debut record, Hellyeah, and just over one year since the passing of bandmate and brother Vinnie Paul.

"We were dealing with the shock of Vinnie passing and we realised that all his drum tracks were finished, everything, which was a pretty surreal moment, ‘cause we realised he left it for us to finish. We wound up going back to Vegas which was really hard to do as we were still just reeling from the funeral and just losing him, but we managed to get through it and finish the guitars and the bass tracks. Then Chad went in there and literally was left to his own devices to finish the record, so that was rough. Listening to it now, completed, it’s a shame as Vinnie would have really loved this record and he would have been super proud of it”, explains guitarist Tom Maxwell.

"It's a celebration of life, it's a celebration of Vinnie",
adds drummer Roy Mayorga.

Welcome Home, reveals 11 tracks, driven by their love, loyalty, reverence and respect for their fallen brother, including album opener and raging track ‘333’, one of two tracks Vinnie heard before his passing, guitar-driven ‘Perfect’, the gritty ‘Oh My God’ and the band’s fastest-growing song at US Active Rock Radio ‘Welcome Home’, which reached the Top 5.

As a toast from the rock-gods and as a loving letter to Vince, Hellyeah offers up their heartfelt, stripped-down track, ‘Skyy and Water’. ‘Choking back my tears again today, I can hear your voice / I can hear you say, don't sweat the small stuff and just keep on keeping on.'

About being half good and half evil and the track ‘333’ vocalist Chad Gray comments, “A lot of people may think Vinnie was just a drummer, but he was much more than just a badass, slamming, smashing drummer…The lyrics embrace and recognise the feelings that most metal fans have. Being treated like outcasts and being judged for the way we look or dress. It’s a reminder to all the metal fans that no matter what, you will always have a place in our worldwide metal community. With that said…Welcome to the family! We’re all the root of half evil reppin’ 333.”

Hellyeah continue their live assault across the US and Canada, kicking off the “A Celebration Of Life” tour in November through to December.

While on the road they have been honouring their late bandmate by donating a portion of ticket sales from each tour date to the American Heart Association in Vinnie Paul’s memory. Tickets and full routing are available HERE.

In addition to this initiative, HELLYEAH will host a TEXT TO DONATE campaign during each of their upcoming tour dates. Fans can TEXT ‘VINNIE’ to #41411, or head to a special CrowdRise page where they can also DONATE to help fight heart disease, as well as read more about the American Heart Association and HELLYEAH’s interview with them HERE.

Iranian Death Metallers Nex Carnis stream new EP via "Decibel" magazine's website

Iranian death metal cult Nex Carnis stream the entirety of their highly anticipated new EP, Black Eternity, at Decibel magazine's website. Set for international release on September 27th via Blood Harvest Records on 7" vinyl format, hear Nex Carnis' Black Eternity in its entirety exclusively HERE.

Hailing from Iran and with an album and demo to their name, Nex Carnis are a steadily rising force, wisely parcelling out their releases - Black Eternity makes three total since 2012 - and delivering quality over quantity every step of the way. This new two-song 7" is no different, and shows that Nex Carnis are effortlessly making their Metal of Death craft that much more powerful and provocative. Utterly dark and disgusting, hammering and dizzying in equal measure, Black Eternity indeed sounds much like its title and suitably drags the listener down into labyrinth after labyrinth of untold horror. And yet, for however vile 'n' virulent the band's brand of death metal may be, there's a strangely hummable magic to it that further elevates Nex Carnis' classicism. Behold Black Eternity and begin drowning in DEATH! Drums on this EP were recorded by Alvaro Sequeida (Occidens, Melektaus, Godagainst).

After recently revealing their first single 'Protection' and performing a genre-crossing set with  Perturbator this week, French sound wizards Alcest are ready to present the second single off their upcoming sixth studio album titled 'Spiritual Instinct'. Recorded at the French Drudenhaus Studios  and written in bursts both during and after a prolonged period of touring in support of 2016’s hugely successful 'Kodama', the new album - the first via Nuclear Blast - will lead the blackgaze pioneers into dark soundscapes full of spiritual catharsis and will be released on October 25th.

Today's single, 'Sapphire', is another magical creation blending shadows and light - the video was directed by Craig Murray (Mogwai, etc) and you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/69fnUZhV8SI

Stream or download 'Sapphire' via this link:- https://nblast.de/Alcest-Sapphire

Bandleader Neige comments:-

"Here’s 'Sapphire', the second single from our upcoming album 'Spiritual Instinct'. This one was also written in a very spontaneous, liberating way and has this 80’s post-punk feel that could remind of The Cure, The Chameleons, or even our older side project Amesoeurs. Hope you guys enjoy it."

Guitar player Stefano Benfante comments:-

“At beginning we were thinking about a concept album, but the band wasn’t ready yet. All these tracks are written by me and then developed with the rest of the band. We wanted to create a cold atmosphere, but not following the classical direction of old school black metal”.

“Elements’ Blackest Legacy” features a more powerful and black metal-oriented sound along with a cold and sidereal dimension. Death/black metal riffs, epic synths sound and violent growls/screams are the elements for a blackest legacy of a new black metal era.

The album has been produced by ShadowThrone and mixed and mastered by Riccardo Studer (STORMLORD). The obscure artwork has been created by dark/occult artist Nestor Avalos (DARK FUNERAL, ROTTING CHRIST, MOONSPELL, VITAL REMAINS, a.o.).

Frontman Joe commented just recently that:-

“On October 4th we will finally release our live album + DVD, 'Surge Of Insanity: Live in Antwerp 2018'! From day one, our goal has always been to distinguish ourselves musically as well as visually in our live performances.”

We're always striving to create new and unique visual aspects to our show. It was massive to play with a full production at the venue where we all used to go to see our favourite bands since we were teenagers. This live album + DVD marks the end of an old and the beginning of a new era for Evil Invaders. We're just getting started...”

This video was shot by director Cédric Gleyal of URIPROD VIDEO.

Prokopton was mixed by Dan Swanö at Unisound AB and mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios.

Martin Hamiche – Lead Guitar
Marion Bascoul – Vocals & Rhythm Guitar
Lucie Woaye-Hune – Bass
Mickaël Bonnevialle – Drums

Toulouse-based Melodic Death Metal unit, Aephanemer, who burst into the heavy music scene in 2014 and just recently inked a worldwide deal with leading rock and metal label Napalm Records, will re-release the band's second studio album on October 25th!

Integrating the elements of Scandinavian melodic death metal, Slavic traditional music and classical symphonics, the French four-piece band has developed a sound that could likely influence a whole new generation of metal. With their 2014 debut EP, Know Thyself, followed by the critically acclaimed full-length, Memento Mori, in 2016, Aephanemer quickly assembled an impressive, loyal fanbase from all over the world – stepping out of one of Europe's best metal secrets to the biggest hopes in the new wave of melodic death metal!

Due in part to their deft musicality, high-octane live performances at prestigious festivals alike Wacken Open Air and a fresh, modern sound, the band quickly gained high praise from both fans and critics alike, but also the well-deserved attention of Napalm Records. Aephanemer could not be more proud to have their latest, sophomore album, titled Prokopton and originally self-released in March 2019, reissued by the label, and for the first time on vinyl, too! To celebrate in perfect style, the band has just premiered a brand new music video to the blistering track “The Sovereign”!
