Sinnery will be unleashing their much anticipated new record “Black Bile”, six years after their debut. In the time since then, they have melted more influences into their sound, and morphed from a predominantly thrash sound to something darker, and heavier. Swept up with melodic breaks amidst the gutturals, they wrap their music in modern layers. The album contains ten tracks; recently they shared the first single, “The Burning” with a new music video, which can be seen and heard at https://youtu.be/1U6_y-SDR7M Single digital pre-save - http://burning.sinneryband.com “The Burning'' is probably the most popular song with the fans even before it comes out, the fans chant “God bless the human race” on every show so it was a no-brainer picking it out to be the first single off of the album. It is an upbeat thrash song with many heavy and groovy moments. It was perfect for the beginning of the album, to start with a bang, with no introductions or orchestral intros just straight-up metal from the get-go. Lyrically the song’s full name was The Burning of Mt. Sinai and so it’s easy to know this song is an anti-religious song, coming from Israel, religion is a big part of the atmosphere where we grew up, and we are not very fond of those establishments that are more about power and money than the lessons in those books they sell.” adds the band. Coming at the listener fast and hard is the name of the game for Sinnery. They infuse their music with real true emotions and messages, nothing about it is made up, it’s all very personal and they really dug into the deepest, darkest parts of themselves to write this album. They anticipate that it’ll be received well and expect that listeners will find that sense of realness in it amidst relentless riffs and catchy melodies. “Black Bile” is fast and full of energy, making it the perfect record to spin when getting amped up. Whether it's for driving fast, headbanging, or hitting the gym, this is a wickedly fun album to listen to.  With Bloodstock 2021 well under way, the festival is thrilled to already be looking ahead and announcing a swathe of bands for the 2022 event, which is set to take place on 11th-14th August 2022 at Catton Park, Derbyshire. Headlining one of the days (tbd) on the Ronnie James Dio main stage will be mighty groove metal overlords, Lamb Of God! Frontman Randy Blythe tells the festival that:- “It’s been way too long since we’ve rocked the festivals of Merry Olde - what better way to announce our return than a headliner slot at Bloodstock? The world premiere of the film will air in early 2020, reaching more than 100 million subscribers. Norwegian Black & Roll veterans Vreid have announced their participation in the "Songs That Changed the World" project by the Nobel Peace Center and Inferno Metal Festival. The band will be commissioned to interpret and cover a song about freedom of expression. The song is yet to be determined. Vreid will perform this special song and their own material during a show at the Nobel Peace Center on April 7, 2020. Founder and bass player Hváll comments: "In Vreid we have always been up for new challenges. It was therefore with huge excitement we took on this task when Inferno Metal Festival and Nobel Peace Center challenged us to do our interpretation of a song that changed the world. Freedom of speech has been relevant since the very beginning of rock, and is just as relevant and important today. At the final event an international jury of experts is picking five top bands, which receive attractive prices by renowned sponsors including the Wacken Foundation and makers of musical instruments and technical gear. On top of this, as in the year before, the number 1 band of the Wacken Metal Battle 2019, Varang Nord, just got to play at the Full Metal Holiday in Mallorca, Spain with expenses covered. The Wacken Metal Battle was founded by the Wacken Open Air in 2004 to support unsigned rock and metal bands as well as to promote the underground scene of hard and heavy music. Since is inception, the competition has quickly grown into the biggest international heavy metal talent contest with currently more than 40 countries and regions in the general pool out of which 30 are selected to compete each year. The winners of the national and regional competitions enter the final round at the Wacken Open Air, where they get to perform in front of an international jury of experts. The world’s biggest heavy metal battle of the bands is coming to Australia for the first time ever!
The legendary Wacken Metal Battle will be making it’s triumphant debut in the great southern land, giving unsigned Australian metal acts the opportunity to battle it out for a spot at the world’s largest and greatest heavy metal festival - Wacken Open Air. 30 years have passed since the creation of Wacken Open Air and now going into their fourth decade, the “holy land of heavy metal” has chosen Australia as it’s newest inclusion into the ranks of their fabled battle of the bands. Wacken Open Air and national promoter Bailey Graham (Founder, Pinnacle Music Group) will be bringing the competition across Australia next year in search of the greatest unsigned metal band down under, and send them off to play Wacken Open Air 2020. The regional heats will hit Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and twice in Melbourne. The process is simple - 8 bands are chosen per regional heat to compete. The winner of every regional heat is given a slot to perform at the grand final in Melbourne at the iconic Max Watts House of Music. The winner of the grand final is given a slot at Wacken Open Air in front of tens of thousands of the world’s biggest metalheads! Winners are decided by a judging panel of some of Australia’s most prolific industry figures - label heads, journalists, promoters and other influential Australian heavy metal figures.
