The Dutch masters of horror Carach Angren are back with their 6(66)th full length 'Franckensteina Strataemontanus', which will see the light on June 26, 2020. In celebration, the horror outfit is now releasing the second new track from the album; 'Der Vampir von Nürnberg'.
The new offering can be seen, in the form of a lyric video, via the Season of Mist YouTube channel HERE. The link may be freely spread throughout your channels.
Carach Angren comment:-
"We proudly present you 'Der Vampir von Nürnberg', taken from our upcoming album. The song is a sub-story connected to the overarching horrifying concept on the album. Welcome to the world of a gruesome killer and vampiric necrophiliac dabbling in the wickedness of the occult!"
Please note that the release date was changed due to the COVID-19 situation. The new and correct release date is June 26, 2020
The Dutch masters of horror are back with their most flamboyant album so far. On 'Franckensteina Strataemontanus', Carach Angren resurrect the gruesome story of troubled soul ‘Conrad Dippel’; the inspiration of Mary Shelly’s novel 'Frankenstein'.
Carach Angren have extended all the sonic colours on their established palette to dazzling effect. Their trademark whipping guitars are weaving harsh melodies and sinister soundscapes, which are beautifully contrasted by opulent keyboards and majestic orchestrations. That Till Lindemann (RAMMSTEIN) and Peter Tägtgren (PAIN) have called upon the composition talent of Clemens "Ardek" Wijers is a telling sign of his outstanding mastery of the craft. Another signatory counterpoint is provided by Seregor's fierce rasping and shrieking vocals. Adding to the impact, Namtar has become a relentless driving force with his hart hitting yet intricate drumming. Each track on this album is a highlight on its own, while combined 'Franckensteina Strataemontanus ' simply shines.
Ministry releases new song "Alert Level" + lyric video; Al Jourgensen asks fans to make videos answering “How Concerned Are You?”
With a new election on the horizon and America still on the brink, Ministry’s Al Jourgensen has re-entered the studio to create his missives that will become material for a to-be-announced new album on Nuclear Blast Records. The first taste comes today with the bold new track “Alert Level” accompanied by a provocative lyric video, created by Agent Ogden.
See the video on Nuclear Blast’s YouTube page: https://youtu.be/qctA4yGMXWA
The song is the first new material from Jourgensen in two years and has a timely message as America—and the global population—faces epidemics, environmental crises, political corruption and one of the biggest elections of our lifetime.
Regarding “Alert Level,” Jourgensen says:-
“We finished the song in January and it sounded great during rehearsals for our Australia/Japan tour dates, before we went into quarantine. The original plan was to finish the new record before the July ‘Industrial Strength’ US tour so we could have an Election Day release, but in lieu of the circumstances—and how relevant the song feels for these bizarre times—we decided to release ‘Alert Level’ now. Considering that this song features the question ‘How concerned are you?’ I’ll be interested to see how folks answer it themselves.”
Hear Jourgensen discuss more about “Alert Level” on Bill Burr’s latest episode of his “Monday Morning Podcast”: https://billburr.com/monday-morning-podcast-4-20-20/
With the release of “Alert Level,” fans are asked to be a part of the larger conversation by answering the question posed by the song’s central message, “How concerned are you?” Fans should upload videos, 30 seconds or less, to their social media profiles with the hashtag #MinistryAlertLevel. All the members of Ministry will be watching from home and selecting the videos most meaningful to them, which will be later shared.
Ministry also encourages fans to voice their concerns by voting in the upcoming 2020 elections and has partnered with Head Count to help voters to become registered in time. More info can be found here: http://ministryband.com/vote
“Alert Level” will be included on Ministry’s upcoming 15th full-length release and the follow-up to the acclaimed 2018 record, “AmeriKKKant,” which was a return to form for the industrial juggernaut and garnered international tour dates, a collaboration with Wax Trax! and a support slot on Slayer’s final tour.

Ravenscry has unveiled a video for “The Door Inside,” the latest in a weekly series of lyric videos leading up to the May 15 release of the album 100.
Watch “The Door Inside” at https://youtu.be/r07aMfSeVdM.
Musically, “The Door Inside” is a combination of both the “classic” and the renewed sound of the Italian alt-metal band. Mighty 8-string riffs and chords give way to melodic synths and even catchier vocals – in a sense, exploring new shores while keeping the same bold attitude.
Giulia Stefani states that:-
“In a similar way, you can find a sort of dichotomy in the lyrics, where personal research can deepen one of our greatest inner struggles: the never-ending ‘fight’ between instinct and rationality. This conflict becomes ‘louder’ when we have to make choices, and yet we don’t face them the same way every time. Sometimes we want to be more rational, sometimes we wish to fulfil our desires and sometimes we just have to find the right balance in order to take the best decision. Everyone finds their answers, although we all know that there’s only one thing we have to leave outside the door: fear.”
The melodic metal band is launching back onto the global metal scene with the highly anticipated 100. Featuring dramatically soaring vocals, bone-shaking rhythms and dark songwriting, for nearly a decade this fierce group has been hooking millions of listeners worldwide with their infectious anthems. Their first album in three years, 100 attests to Ravenscry’s bold return. With more energy, more melody and even smarter lyrics, 100 stays true to the core of Ravenscry’s sound while remaining accessible enough to hook even more new listeners. Sincere, intelligent and brutally honest — the album sums up the human experience to a tee, from epic highs to soul-crushing lows.
Ravenscry released “Maybe,” the first official single and video from 100, last month. Watch “Maybe” here: https://youtu.be/ROgLlZSBfzE.
“The Entertainer” – a song inspired by entertainers who keep audiences smiling while silently struggling and fighting personal demons – was the first in the lyric video series and can be viewed at https://youtu.be/41FhzbVAar0.
100 was produced by Ravenscry, mixed by Roberto Laghi (In Flames, Hardcore Superstar) and mastered by Dragan Tanasković (In Flames, Dark Tranquillity). The album features artwork by Spanish artist Mario “Aégis” S. Nevado.

Ravenscry first made a mark on the world in 2011 with their debut album, One Way Out, and began steadily grinding their way up the ranks of the global metal scene. In 2014, the band spearheaded a campaign to raise awareness about violence against women with the release of The Attraction of Opposites and the single “Alive,” released on International Women’s Day. 2017 saw the release of the concept album The Invisible, which told a complex and mystifying coming of age tale, followed by numerous European festival appearances and tours with Angra and Geoff Tate’s Operation: Mindcrime.

Symphonic metal outfit Beyond The Black presents their new single, “Golden Pariahs”, off their upcoming album, Hørizøns, to be released via Napalm Records on June 19th, 2020.
An echoing symbiosis of brutal drums and major electronic influences inflames the quintessence of “Golden Pariahs”: Their new epos explodes in an intoxicating fusion of Jennifer Haben’s striking, exceptional vocals, highly-clocked drums and another facet of the quintet’s multifarious spectra.
Beyond The Black rises with sonorous, energetic severity and bittersweet elements. The vigorous soundscape is coupled with the song’s strong message and sets the characteristic sign to fight, even in dark times. Beyond The Black prove their versatile musical identity once again and that the modern blend of melodic rock and metal is flowing through their veins.
“Golden Pariahs” is a high voltage stunner and a melodic hymn for all the erroneously underdogs to defeat their inner demons. Pull us under, hear the thunder!
Watch the new lyric video for „Golden Pariahs“ HERE:
Jennifer Haben on the new album:-
“With 2019 having been the biggest year in our career as a band so far, we were thrilled and anxious to get back to the studio and start writing again – not just to make up to the fast and amazing development that has happened in the band since our last album, but to pin this development down also musically for everyone to hear and see. Hørizøns is unmistakably a Beyond The Black album, but with so many new facets and personality adding up to the classic Beyond The Black ID that make it a true band-album. For us this has definitely been a walk on the tightrope and we feel to have it accomplished to its fullest. Without beating around the bush, we can say that we're extremely proud and confident that Hørizøns is the best Beyond The Black album to date.“
The quintet unbolt their unequalled, differentiated spectra of symphonic and melodic rock spiced with sonorous melodious metal soundscapes in 13 manifold songs. The album kicks off with its heavy, yet atmospheric title track, spanning the range of tumescent soundscapes and Jennifer Haben’s crystal clear, striking vocals. Beautiful yet strong harmonies, emotional storytelling and powerful vocal lines weave throughout “Wounded Healer” (feat. Elize Rhyde off Amaranthe) and will light your way in gloomy times. Dark subliminal grooves coalesce with harmonizing guitar lines and form the prevailing nexus of “Human” and it’s unmistakably catchy chorus. Another facet rises with “You Are Not Alone”, which is dominated by electronic influences as well as symphonic sounding violins. Hørizøns’ atmospherically dark harshness creates the stylistic bow over the distinctive melodic rock meets pop sound in symbiosis with fragile yet strong fragments. The charismatic outfit persuades with a rousing, emotional clout and their strong, confident message off self-assertion.
BEYOND THE BLACK are:
Jennifer Haben (Vocals)
Stefan Herkenhoff (Bass)
Chris Hermsdörfer (Guit./Backings)
Tobi Lodes (Guit./Backings)
Kai Tschierschky (Drums)
