Italian Crossover / Death Metal / Grindcore / Thrash Metal outfit Abbinormal have signed with Sliptrick Records.
Abbinormal was originally formed in 1996. The writing of their songs has always been inspired by the philosophy of US crossover group S.O.D.; to produce tracks with a crossover of short and direct styles, with arrogant and irony-filled texts …after recording a demo a few months later, the band promptly disintegrated.
More than 20 years down the road, guitarist Max, with the intention of honouring the pieces written in the past and never published, decides to reform the band with new members. With Eric (vocals and keyboards), Marco (bass) and LKT, a young, powerful and promising drummer, the band write 7 more pieces and rearrange the old songs from the first unpublished demo.
The result is a record entitled 1996, containing 16 short metal crossover songs with thrash, grind and death metal influences and a total duration of just over 23 minutes. Even the artist’s choice for the album cover was not accidental: completely drawn with a pen, it is the work of Davide Scianca, a Milanese artist, visionary and openly influenced by the great master H.R. Giger. The basic idea for creating the cover was made by associating a single word associated with each track that composes the album. The end result embodies the insane vision of Abbinormal.

Hyderabad based Hardcore/ Crossover Thrash Metal act- R.A.I.D have finally unleashed their album cover for their new album- 'Imperium'. The album has a release date of 28th June 2019 and will be released through Rottweiler Records.
Frontman Rueban says:-
"The album is loosely based around the biblical character; Samson. Samson was depicted as the epitome of strength in the bible. Though, we might not be like Samson, we, as individuals have unique strengths that we can use. No matter who you are, what age group you belong, or what the status of your life may be, you have a gift that you can use. The pain only gets stronger when we refuse to learn a lesson. If there’s something ‘negative’ happening in your life right now, chances are that you need to learn to accept people the way they are. The album music shows you how to gather yourself and be stronger than you have ever been, based on everyday life experiences."

Season of Mist are proud to announce the signing of Insanity Alert. The Austrian crossover party thrashers will release next album and also reissue their debut full-length through Season of Mist.
Insanity Alert comment: "We are extremely happy to announce that we are now part of the Season of Mist family. It is an honour to work with a label that has produced so many great records. First up will be the re-release of our self-titled debut album from 2014, which will be soon followed by a new full-length in 2018. Tout détruire!"
Insanity Alert were founded in the Austrian city of Innsbruck in the year 2011. Their declared intent: to deliver crushing crossover party thrash.
This tongue-in-cheek concept backed up by strong musical prowess worked out extremely well as their 'First Diagnosis' proved in 2012. This demo was well received and the first impression of the public quickly confirmed by the 'Second Opinion', which came out the next year. In 2014, the eponymous debut full followed and 'Insanity Alert' delighted critics and fans alike. The wild Tyrolians, always eager to please, served a juicy 'Moshburger' (2016) next and started to reap the rewards of their crazy live shows and quality output.
Insanity Alert were invited to perform at prestigious festivals such as Hellfest, Summer Breeze, Motocultor among many others and shared stages with some of their favourite acts such as Suicidal Tendencies, Municipal Waste, D.R.I., Sodom, Toxic Holocaust, and many more. In January 2018, the Austrians will be part of the Persistence Tour alongside Hatebreed, Madball, Terror, and others.
Insanity Alert are currently writing the follow-up to 'Moshburger', which is scheduled to be released via Season of Mist in 2018.

Japanese Thrash Metal / Crossover band Beyond Description posted on-line, in streaming on YouTube, the new song 'Castle'. It was taken from their 5th full-length album called "The Robotized World", out via Punishment 18 Records.
Japanese thrash metal / crossover band Beyond Description is ready to release its new full-length album titled "The Robotized World". You can see the definitive track-list below. Beyond Description finished recording sessions in Studio Life, in Japan, last summer 2016. "The Robotized World" will be released by Punishment 18 Records.
From the announcement, in the band's own words, "our sound is 50% Bay Area thrash, 25% Mumbai attitude, 20% rage and 5% alcohol”. The less alcohol percentage notwithstanding, this is great, energetic thrash/punk/crossover from this new band. No Clean Singing premiered one of their songs HERE and had very positive things to say about it. Something to the effect of -
"a high-energy barrage, with a thundering rhythm section anchoring some very catchy and seriously vicious riffs." - Carnage Inc. (Mumbai, India) - 'Fury Incarnate' EP
After Exalter and Armament, Carnage Inc. are the newest thrash metal band on the block and their flair is different. Using local flavour to spice up the sound, this band's music is vibrant, energetic and adrenaline-charged. 'Fury Incarnate' is the band's first foray into the international space and they've got the chops for it, evidently. Each song has its speciality, incorporating influences from punk, crossover and local themes to create an album unlike other, one that's refreshing and not relying too much on the tried-and-tested template. Though undeniably old school, Carnage Inc. breathe new life into the style and show others how it is to be done. Watch out for this band that's bound to leap out and devour the posers.

The highly controversial and iconic, Body Count (featuring Ice-T on vocals), has officially inked a world-wide deal with Century Media Records and will begin tracking their highly anticipated new, full-length offering with Will Putney (Miss May I, Upon A Burning Body). Putney also tracked the group’s last effort, Manslaughter, which caught the entire genre’s immediate attention with its sheer abrasiveness and unabashed brutality.
Ice- T states:
"It’s cool to be a member of The Century Label Group alongside such a lot of well-established metal artists. With our last album Manslaughter, we tested the waters and got a great response from the fans and critics. Now it’s time to go kill it and make a more aggressive album and keep the Body CountT style intact. Producer, Will Putney (Miss May I, Upon A Burning Body), is like a member of the band and has an excellent ear. He’s a great producer because he captures the true essence of our band’s sound. Once we are done writing the song it’s his job to step in and make it sound better. He helps move the record in the right direction, were anticipating working with him again. “Once the records done, were going to shoot a lot of music videos and perform spot-dates on certain tests, etc.”
This is the group that dropped hip-hop attitude into heavy metal and hard rock music before Rage Against The Machine, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park and Hollywood Undead made records, despite nary an ounce of rapping over their mosh-pit inducing songs. Body Count is a full on metal band, fronted by a legendary rapper who drops knowledge, violent stories and verbal middle fingers, with a bellowing growl descended from some of punk rock’s most pissed off screamers.
Ice-T and co-founder / lead guitarist Ernie C have perfected their mix of thrash, punk and bottom heavy doom across five albums, hitting a zenith with the unstoppable Manslaughter, backed by bassist/songwriter Vincent Price (with Body Count now for nearly 15 years), drummer Ill Will (joined in 2009) and new guitarist Juan Garcia of Evildead. They embody the monumental Southern California tradition of street born punk bands like Suicidal Tendencies combined with the aggressive aural napalm of Slayer. From the punk bite of their gold debut through the metallic triumph of Born Dead (1994), Violent Demise: The Last Days (1997) and Murder 4 Hire (2006), to the all encompassing Body Count vibe of Manslaughter, which merges the strengths of the band’s entire catalogue.
Driven by the same iconoclastic, anti-authoritarian and pimp-turned-poet mentality that made Ice-T a gangster rap pioneer, a platinum artist from the streets and a household name in film and television before “rapper / actor” was a commonly used term, Body Count flipped the script with the same tenacity when they bum-rushed heavy metal. The first rumblings of Body Count were heard in the eponymous song unleashed on Ice-T’s gigantic O.G.: Original Gangster album in 1991, which hit stores just two months after Ice’s first major movie role in the modern crime classic, “New Jack City.” The fierce thrash of the “Body Count” anthem put people on notice that the Megadeth cap Ice-T wore on MTV wasn’t for show: aggressive heavy metal and hardcore is in his blood.
