American Industrialists Static-X release video teaser for new song, "Hollow" & unveil details of their new album "Project Regeneration"
Static-X has released a video teaser for their new song, "Hollow," off of their highly anticipated 7th studio album, 'Project Regeneration'. The album is scheduled to release May 29, 2020 with all pre-ordered merchandise associated with the new album to begin shipping October 15th.

Originally scheduled for release in Spring of 2019, the new Static-X album, 'Project Regeneration' was first intended to feature several guests vocalists, along with the original Wisconsin Death Trip band line up of Tony Campos, Ken Jay, and Koichi Fukuda.
During the recording sessions for 'Project Regeneration', one of the bands producers uncovered several additional unreleased / unfinished Static-X tracks, many of which contained isolated vocal performances by Wayne Static.
Because of this incredible find, the new Static-X album will now feature lead vocals by Wayne Static
on virtually every song.
“It was very surreal” says Tony Campos. “Our producer was going through all of these old studio tapes, many of which were damaged. He called me up and told me that I needed to get down to the studio right away and listen to what he found.. I jumped in my car and raced to the studio and what he shared, fucking blew me away.. It was Wayne singing on track after track, but there was little to no music on any of it.. Most of the tapes were damaged and Wayne's voice was virtually all that remained in tact."
“It was just crazy!!” adds drummer Ken Jay. “There we were.. Myself, Tony and Koichi, back in the studio together, after all these years, and somehow the universe decided to surprise us with all of these lost Static-X tapes containing Waynes voice. I just couldn’t help thinking that this was all somehow meant to be. I couldn’t stop thinking about how happy this was going to make Waynes family, and all of the Static-X fans around the world.”
While this comes as amazing news for the fans, completing these additional tracks has created a lot of additional work for the band and their producers.
Due to the busy touring schedule associated with the 20th Anniversary of Wisconsin Death Trip, the band had no choice but to delay the album's release.
“The official release date for 'Project Regeneration' is now May 29, 2020.” Says Tony Campos "In the mean time, we have decided to go ahead and ship out ALL of the merchandise and schwag associated with the pre-orders to all the fans who have participated. This way they can have all of their shirts, hoodies, posters, etc, while we all wait a little bit longer for the music to be complete.. As originally planned, the CD’s will ship to everyone the week prior to release..
In addition, we are finally able to begin sharing some of the finished music from 'Project Regeneration'" adds Campos. “There is a lot of great stuff on the way, but right now we are going to share a video clip for one of the newly finished songs called 'HOLLOW.' This song was originally a demo from the Start A War album, which was never completed.
“Wayne and I never felt like the music on the original demo was fully realized”. adds Tony. "The vocals sounded great, but some of the musical compositions from that time period felt a bit experimental. There is a reason that some of these tracks never made it on a previous STATIC-X album, and it certainly wasn’t because of Wayne's vocals. The band was just going through a lot of changes at that time and, in retrospect, it felt like we were straying away from that authentic STATIC-X sound that had really defined us.”
Ken Jay adds, “When we began working on PROJECT REGENERATION our producers advised us to ignore all of the old demo music.. We opted for the original band to re-enter the studio with nothing more than Wayne's vocal tracks.. The vocals sound really great and I think that Wayne would be really happy with what we’ve done with the music and to hear that these tracks have finally realized their full potential..”
“The 20th Anniversary for Wisconsin Death Trip only comes once in a life time.” Says original guitarist Koichi Fukuda “and this year has been absolutely incredible. The new album is going to be very special and this whole 20th Anniversary touring process has been a very unique and healing experience for the band and also for the fans.”
“We are so grateful to the fans who have made 2019 such an incredible year for STATIC-X!" adds Ken Jay. “We have toured the world and celebrated the life and work of our dear friend Wayne, while playing our debut album front to back every night.. The fans have really exceeded our expectations and again, we are just so grateful!”
“Now that the touring for 2019 is coming to an end, we have revised our schedule and we are excited to finish the album so that we can get it into the hands of the fans asap,” states Campos. “I promise that it will be worth the wait!”

Sweden‘s leading industrial metal band is back after 19 years! Misery Loves Co shaped the industrial metal scene during the 90‘s and became critically acclaimed among the global music press as well as a household name among many fans. Everybody took the band to their hearts when they heard the band‘s unique and innovative mix of aggressive industrial metal mixed with gloomy melodies and impressive songwriting. Metal Hammer said it best: “If someone were to prescribe a formula for how metal should sound in 1995, it could be described in three words — MISERY LOVES CO."
Huge tours followed the band‘s immediate success and Misery Loves Co shared stages with legendary acts like Slayer, Machine Head and Paradise Lost and even had Deftones opening for them. The band‘s second album “Not Like Them” earned them a Swedish Grammy in 1998.

American Modern Industrialists Fate Destroyed reveal new video for haunting cover of folk classic "In The Pines"
Fate Destroyed, the Los Angeles-based band fronted by Franccesca De Struct, unveils a haunting new video for their cover of the classic "In the Pines" today via Metal Injection.
Watch the video here: https://metalinjection.net/video/fate-destroyed-rocks-this-awesome-lead-belly-blues-cover-for-in-the-pines-and-makes-it-heavy
"In the Pines," also known as "Where Did You Sleep Last Night?" and "My Girl," is a traditional folk song made famous by legendary blues artist Lead Belly and later achieved commercial success through Nirvana's take on the track.
"I saw 'In the Pines' as the ultimate musical challenge," De Struct says. "Was it possible to take a widely known folk song, something completely the antithesis of my genre, and make it industrial? The answer was a resounding yes. This passion project came from a place of musical discovery. It gave me the chance to take a base concept and see just how much I could mould it into something entirely new."
Fate Destroyed was formed by De Struct in 2016 with an aim to provide a fierce new take on the metal status quo. Led by the raw emotion of De Struct's vocals, Fate Destroyed combines visceral guitars and driving synths to leverage the gap between hard hitting '90s industrial and modern heavy metal.
Fate Destroyed is rounded out by Roger Bohlen on guitar, Nathan YoungBlood (Green Jelly/Dirty Machine) on bass and Ben Levi (Matriarchs) on drums.
Manchester-based Industrial Metal / Punk artists Syd.31 will release their second album, "Walk Amongst Rebels".
"Walk Amongst Rebels" is about survival and overcoming what life throws at you. After dealing with the loss of his home, job, loved ones, and relationship in a short span. Dr Magic, founder/vocalist of Syd.31 explains what went into the making of the album..
"This is my first biographical album, true stories based on horrible situations I’ve faced, every time I thought my entire world was ending. I’ve gone back to all the bands I was in love with during these times to re-live the sounds and feel of those punk and metal anthems that got me through it. Its messy, I cry during takes and made myself sick, but I love every moment. I want others to feel their trauma through this album and realise everything is gonna be OK, that whatever is thrown at you."
Featuring nasty guitar riffs, stomping beats, and filthy basslines, "Walk Amongst Rebels" incites anger, duress, and civil disobedience.
Syd.31 is a project formed by front man and producer Dr Magic as a showcase for his songwriting and a desire to create an exciting sound that he would love to watch. Bored of paying big bucks to watch formulaic bands; he decided to merge his love of hardcore punk, industrial metal and sickly sweet pop music to create angry, powerful anthems design to connect with freaks, weirdos and outsiders. Armed with a punk vitriol, a rock ‘n roll swagger and backed by feral stage crew, Syd.31 is now set to make waves in the US after smashing the UK. Expect BIG things.
Swiss black metal pioneers Samael release new video for the title track off their latest album "Hegemony" – watch HERE!
Samael are widely known for their Industrial Black Metal armed with wind sections passing through shivering synthesizers. On point and frighteningly brutal, fiery whirlwinds of hypnotic hammering riff forces overlay gruesomely gurgling vocals driving you over the edge.

Samael awakened on the 14th of July 1988 when brothers Xytraguptor and Vorphalack loaded their musical gear into an atomic bunker. Almost 20 years after that day the band experienced a rebirth with the release of Solar Soul (2007). The album, co-produced by long-time producer Waldemar Sorychta and mixed by Stefan Glaumann (Rammstein, Within Temptation...) is now fully remastered and will be released with the addition of 9 bonus tracks (2 remixes, 6 instrumental songs, 1x live track).
After resurrecting black metal in the early '90's with their debut album Worship Him, introducing symphonic metal in 1994 with Ceremony of Opposites and pioneering industrial metal with Passage in 1996; Samael released Lvx Mvndi in 2011, a record that built a bridge over the 20+ years of the band's history by melting all sides and personalities of the band into a masterpiece. Now the album has been remixed from stems, remastered and will be released with the addition of 7 bonus tracks.

Based in Vancouver BC, this sonically diverse act is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist Dan Potter. Using heavy barrages of thrashing poly-rhythmic riffage to whip up intensity levels, DYFN descends into abstracted darkness and finds a sonic blueprint that’s filled with endless possibilities. Guitars are driven to their most extreme by incorporating experimental approaches in technique and composition serving as a perfect backdrop to the deep, chaotic experiences brought forth lyrically as dark riddles are wretched out with harrowing screams.
The debut LP by Dark Years from Now was conceived to be a unique listening journey. Whether it’s the pulsating industrial metal edged aesthetic or the cathartic layers of electronic instrumentation, each track offers a world of intriguing sound and substance. Unafraid to take a non-linear approach, many of the songs are forged with abstract intent even using the words as yet another aural paintbrush, obscuring to reveal. Four of the eleven tracks are instrumental in nature providing more time for listeners in the churning abyss of variable perception.
Dark Years from Now will release its self-titled debut on March 8, 2019.
German industrial metal pioneers Oomph! have entered the German album charts at #1 for the first time with their sixth full-length "Ritual", which has just been released via Napalm Records.
