Aborym's new album “Hostile” is out now! To celebrate release of their 11th full-length, the band have produced a visualizer video for the stunning song ‘Stigmatized (Robotripping)’.
WATCH THE VIDEO HERE: https://youtu.be/koUDueTuBus
Guitarist Tomas expresses his thoughts:
“When I was asked to put my hands on this song [its title wasn’t ‘Stigmatized (Robotripping)’ yet] it was incredible, even if I never actually wrote anything like that, I knew exactly how to move my hands on it. That cold and impolite noise, grunge and ‘acid’ mix immediately stimulated me and I felt it was going to be my favourite. No cut-ups in post-production or crap like that, it’s a song which was to be played down the hatch… one-take, as producers say”.
“Hostile” is available now as digipak CD and digital via Dead Seed Productions, while the vinyl version will be out in April 2021.

More about “Hostile”:
“Hostile” was produced by Keith Hillebrandt (Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie, a.o.), who comments:
“When Fab and his wife were in Bangkok at the end of 2018 we got to talking about the next Aborym album and he asked if I was interested in helping out with the production. Talking about the directions he wanted the band's sound to take got me thrilled and when the tracks started to come together I was blown away. Tracks like ‘Proper use of Myself’ and ‘Stigmatized (Robotripping)’ had the patented Aborym heavy aggro feel but tracks like ‘Sleep’ and ‘The End Of A World’ took the band’s sound in a completely new direction. The whole album is an adventurous trip both lyrically and dynamically. I haven’t heard anything like that since many years and I’m proud to have had a small part in making this with Fab and the boys. Just wished I could have gone to Italy for the mix down, but the end of the world came”.
The album is a consolidation and continuation of Aborym career. Rather than re-invent the wheel or try and compete with contemporary trends, this record takes the blueprint we know and love and sees the band adding even more layers and taking some of their work to its nth degree. They are unarguably heavy, and there are a lot of metal inspirations in their sound, but “Hostile” can be considered as a kaleidoscopic weird mix of psychedelia, electronic music, rock and experimental music. Aborym’s mission is simply to make music that has never been heard before.
“Hostile” was written between 2018 and 2020, recorded at Synthesis Studio, NMG recording studio and Aborym-Lab in 2020, mixed and mastered by Andrea Corvo during the COVID-19 quarantine. For the first time this album has been written and arranged with a four-pieces consolidated line-up: Fab (vocals, synths, modular synths, programming), Greco (bass, guitars, programming), Catalani (drums, pads, electronics) and Aurizzi (guitars).
Fabrizio Giannese shares his thoughts:
“I’ve always had a fascination with challenging myself and even when I was a kid, I wanted to be different, I loved to experiment. I’ve always gotten a lot of enjoyment when I’m in a challenging situation and I have to learn something else, and I still do. I think it is innately inside me. Part of you doesn’t really realize just how cool it is not to give a fuck, you know? I am very concerned about like, ‘Is this working?’. Not giving a fuck is a way of giving more love because you’re free. It lets you be more creative and dynamic and louder and more fun and sadder and everything. We just tried to play the music we feel, like a therapy. Music is a therapeutic path for me and I try to not play music just to please the fans.
People are always going to categorize you. It can definitely be frustrating. But I don’t feel any pressure to be anything for anyone. I don’t feel like I have to be the frontman in any certain way, and I think that’s part of the power of the band. If I was a solo artist and I had four managers telling me what to do, I’d feel stressed out... But we really feel grounded with each other. You can’t write the same type of song over and over and over again, so I think that’s one of the challenges, to feel like, ‘Yeah, I did something different here’. ‘Hostile’ will be our eighth album and I think for us it was really important to try and find our playfulness again. So, in that sense it gets harder with every album, but we really made music just because it was our favourite thing to do ever. It still is.

Veteran Italian industrial metallers Aborym announce new album “Hostile”; music video for ‘Horizon Ignited’ out now
Italian industrial electronic metallers Aborym are back with their most challenging studio album to date. “Hostile” is the definitive magnum opus from a band who wrote an unforgettable piece of history in the extreme metal camp.
The follow-up to “Shifting.negative”, produced by Keith Hillebrandt (Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie, a.o.), is a consolidation and continuation of Aborym career. Commenting on ‘Horizon Ignited’ ABORYM’s mastermind Fabrizio Giannese aka Fabban says:
“Difficulties in remembering to forget. The new atheism. The ardent wish to finally forget about God: to discard the cherished illusion of God and definitively break away from the images and thoughts. The core hypothesis of this song is that the ‘death of God’ does not straight away imply that God is forgotten. The memory of God makes a reconsideration of God possible which avoids the widespread, but misleading alternative, between ‘the death of God’ on the one hand, and his alleged ‘return’ on the other. Two overall interests thereby intersect: an exegetical and a systematic one”.

Ministry releases new song "Alert Level" + lyric video; Al Jourgensen asks fans to make videos answering “How Concerned Are You?”
With a new election on the horizon and America still on the brink, Ministry’s Al Jourgensen has re-entered the studio to create his missives that will become material for a to-be-announced new album on Nuclear Blast Records. The first taste comes today with the bold new track “Alert Level” accompanied by a provocative lyric video, created by Agent Ogden.
See the video on Nuclear Blast’s YouTube page: https://youtu.be/qctA4yGMXWA
The song is the first new material from Jourgensen in two years and has a timely message as America—and the global population—faces epidemics, environmental crises, political corruption and one of the biggest elections of our lifetime.
Regarding “Alert Level,” Jourgensen says:-
“We finished the song in January and it sounded great during rehearsals for our Australia/Japan tour dates, before we went into quarantine. The original plan was to finish the new record before the July ‘Industrial Strength’ US tour so we could have an Election Day release, but in lieu of the circumstances—and how relevant the song feels for these bizarre times—we decided to release ‘Alert Level’ now. Considering that this song features the question ‘How concerned are you?’ I’ll be interested to see how folks answer it themselves.”
Hear Jourgensen discuss more about “Alert Level” on Bill Burr’s latest episode of his “Monday Morning Podcast”: https://billburr.com/monday-morning-podcast-4-20-20/
With the release of “Alert Level,” fans are asked to be a part of the larger conversation by answering the question posed by the song’s central message, “How concerned are you?” Fans should upload videos, 30 seconds or less, to their social media profiles with the hashtag #MinistryAlertLevel. All the members of Ministry will be watching from home and selecting the videos most meaningful to them, which will be later shared.
Ministry also encourages fans to voice their concerns by voting in the upcoming 2020 elections and has partnered with Head Count to help voters to become registered in time. More info can be found here: http://ministryband.com/vote
“Alert Level” will be included on Ministry’s upcoming 15th full-length release and the follow-up to the acclaimed 2018 record, “AmeriKKKant,” which was a return to form for the industrial juggernaut and garnered international tour dates, a collaboration with Wax Trax! and a support slot on Slayer’s final tour.
Credits for “Alert Level” include:
Al Jourgensen – vocals/guitar/keys
Cesar Soto - guitar/bass
Dan Cleary - bass
Roy Mayorga - drums
Arabian Prince - scratch
Michael Rozon - keys, drum programming
Liz Walton, Chad & Jill Smith - backup vocals

New York based industrial metal duo Hanzel und Gretyl return with their glorious ninth album,
‘Hexennacht’, a bestial feast of mechanised blast beats, ear-splitting guitars and shrieks from the very bowels of hell! It sees Kaizer Von Loopy and Vas Kallas continue their dark descent into the forest of an imagined Bavarian Halloween, blending black metal themes and aesthetics with industrial strength power. Surrender to the dark side of the galactic forest and enjoy the evil madness of ‘Hexennacht’ as HuG beseech you to join them in their glorious damnation from an otherworldly vortex.
Formed in New York in 1993, Hanzel und Gretyl have released eight previous albums and toured with Marilyn Manson, Prong, Slipknot, Rammstein, Ministry and Cradle Of Filth.
The band began their association with Metropolis Records in 2003 when the label issued the third
HuG album, ‘Über Alles’, which was described as a 'futuristic Wagnerian rock opera' and received
great reviews from publications as diverse as Kerrang! (UK) and The Village Voice (US). Follow-up
‘Scheissmessiah’ was memorably reviewed as ‘Handel’s Messiah from Hell’, while death and black
metal elements were incorporated into HuG’s sound on 2008 concept record ’2012: Zwanzig Zwölf’.
‘Born To Be Heiled’ (2012) was an eclectic blend of death, black and doom metal, classic rock,
electronic and industrial elements and ‘Black Forest Metal’ (2014), employed satanic themes
cross-referenced with forest motifs from the original Brothers Grimm fairy tale. 2018 saw the duo
celebrate their 25th anniversary with the release of ‘Satanik Germanik’.

Finnish Industrial Metal / Hell Electro act King Satan is releasing their second full length album "I Want You To Worship Satan' on 22nd of November 2019. They also have released third single and music video from the upcoming album called All Magick Is Chaos Magick.
Check the music video "All Magick Is Chaos Magick": https://youtu.be/cM6a9fLW8v0
Listen to the single:
Vocalist and the director of music video King Aleister Satan comments:
"For ”All Magick Is Chaos Magick” single we wanted to present more occult & mysticism oriented side of our works, and since it had been a while since I had directed a story-based music video I wanted it to be for this song. This said, the same goes with the song itself. I have been asked many times during the King Satan’s existence that ”what is Magick and Chaos Magick for you?” and ”how it is related to the Devil?” which led into the birth of the song, where I answer all this through the orchestration of industrial metal and electronic body music amalgam!"
King Satan is industrial metal band from Tampere, Finland founded in the end of 2015 by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist King Aleister Satan. The band serves eccentric and over-the-top style of harsh extreme metal which is heavily infused with different elements all the way from hard rock and death punk to aggrotech and electro-industrial.
The band gained international attention in the underground metal circles with powerful live performances, controversial music videos and genre-bending debut album "King Fucking Satan"(2017). The band’s outspoken attitude towards occult and spiritual anarchy was served in unique blend of electro-metal which appeared to be not alien to neither satire or philosophical sedition.
With several festival shows and touring in Finland and mainland Europe in 2018 together with series of club shows while supporting or sharing stage with such acts as PAIN, PERTURBATOR, CARPENTER BRUT, HOCICO, TURMION KÄTILÖT and VELVET ACID CHRIST the band promoted their debut album and gained themselves reputation for being distinctive and energetic live band. With full band line-up, babalonian female voice of keyboardist KATHERINE BOSS and powerful demonic vocals of band’s mastermind KING ALEISTER SATAN the band delivers fierce soundscapes full of excessive synths and bass, electro beats, live drums and heavily distorted guitars that can be consumed both in dance floor and in a moshpit, and which most surely bows to nothing and to no one.
KING SATAN’s second full length album titled I WANT YOU TO WORSHIP SATAN (2019) was set to be released in 22nd November 2019 by INVERSE RECORDS and which will be introduced to the world once again by singles with impudent music videos all written and directed by band’s KING ALEISTER SATAN himself.

Italian industrial/death metal outfit Geschlecht has released details about their upcoming debut album "New Load Continue" - due out on 29th November 2019 via Time To Kill Records.
The album narrates the story of a player trapped in a video-game. The band comments:
"The protagonist gets swallowed up and has to complete the quest-line of the game by himself. His task will be to break the curse that plagues the 5 great warriors of the game world who will accompany him throughout his journey. The curse brings the warriors in a constant state of inebriation, depriving them of their powers as well and rendering them unable to perform their duty, or defeat the evil demons and gods. Only a gem imbued with the power of the blood moon can break the spell. The player will have to travel the game world to find the gem, in a race against a prophecy that announces the rise of a new god".
Hailing from northern Italy, the band consists of Amedeo Finati (vocals), Amedeo Casale (guitar), Edoardo Volpato (bass), Fabio Speroni (drums): together they have been perfecting their musical skills since 2016, sharing the stage along the way with important Italian acts such as Cripple Bastards, Genus Ordinis Dei and Deathless Legacy.
Produced by Lacuna Coil’s Richard Meiz (also in Genus Ordinis Dei), courtesy of Eclipse Records, the upcoming follow-up to 2016’s self-titled debut EP displays the young band's dazzling ambition and artistic vision. Not afraid to merge industrial vibes and extreme metal hardness, Geschlecht has chiseled out a modern metal album of undeniable impact.
Watch for single premieres, new tour updates, and more news on other upcoming Geschlecht activities to be posted shortly.
American Industrialists Static-X release video teaser for new song, "Hollow" & unveil details of their new album "Project Regeneration"
Static-X has released a video teaser for their new song, "Hollow," off of their highly anticipated 7th studio album, 'Project Regeneration'. The album is scheduled to release May 29, 2020 with all pre-ordered merchandise associated with the new album to begin shipping October 15th.
Check out 'Hollow' here:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elThuqP1Ynk&feature=youtu.be
Originally scheduled for release in Spring of 2019, the new Static-X album, 'Project Regeneration' was first intended to feature several guests vocalists, along with the original Wisconsin Death Trip band line up of Tony Campos, Ken Jay, and Koichi Fukuda.
During the recording sessions for 'Project Regeneration', one of the bands producers uncovered several additional unreleased / unfinished Static-X tracks, many of which contained isolated vocal performances by Wayne Static.
Because of this incredible find, the new Static-X album will now feature lead vocals by Wayne Static
on virtually every song.
“It was very surreal” says Tony Campos. “Our producer was going through all of these old studio tapes, many of which were damaged. He called me up and told me that I needed to get down to the studio right away and listen to what he found.. I jumped in my car and raced to the studio and what he shared, fucking blew me away.. It was Wayne singing on track after track, but there was little to no music on any of it.. Most of the tapes were damaged and Wayne's voice was virtually all that remained in tact."
“It was just crazy!!” adds drummer Ken Jay. “There we were.. Myself, Tony and Koichi, back in the studio together, after all these years, and somehow the universe decided to surprise us with all of these lost Static-X tapes containing Waynes voice. I just couldn’t help thinking that this was all somehow meant to be. I couldn’t stop thinking about how happy this was going to make Waynes family, and all of the Static-X fans around the world.”
While this comes as amazing news for the fans, completing these additional tracks has created a lot of additional work for the band and their producers.
Due to the busy touring schedule associated with the 20th Anniversary of Wisconsin Death Trip, the band had no choice but to delay the album's release.
“The official release date for 'Project Regeneration' is now May 29, 2020.” Says Tony Campos "In the mean time, we have decided to go ahead and ship out ALL of the merchandise and schwag associated with the pre-orders to all the fans who have participated. This way they can have all of their shirts, hoodies, posters, etc, while we all wait a little bit longer for the music to be complete.. As originally planned, the CD’s will ship to everyone the week prior to release..
In addition, we are finally able to begin sharing some of the finished music from 'Project Regeneration'" adds Campos. “There is a lot of great stuff on the way, but right now we are going to share a video clip for one of the newly finished songs called 'HOLLOW.' This song was originally a demo from the Start A War album, which was never completed.
“Wayne and I never felt like the music on the original demo was fully realized”. adds Tony. "The vocals sounded great, but some of the musical compositions from that time period felt a bit experimental. There is a reason that some of these tracks never made it on a previous STATIC-X album, and it certainly wasn’t because of Wayne's vocals. The band was just going through a lot of changes at that time and, in retrospect, it felt like we were straying away from that authentic STATIC-X sound that had really defined us.”
Ken Jay adds, “When we began working on PROJECT REGENERATION our producers advised us to ignore all of the old demo music.. We opted for the original band to re-enter the studio with nothing more than Wayne's vocal tracks.. The vocals sound really great and I think that Wayne would be really happy with what we’ve done with the music and to hear that these tracks have finally realized their full potential..”
“The 20th Anniversary for Wisconsin Death Trip only comes once in a life time.” Says original guitarist Koichi Fukuda “and this year has been absolutely incredible. The new album is going to be very special and this whole 20th Anniversary touring process has been a very unique and healing experience for the band and also for the fans.”
“We are so grateful to the fans who have made 2019 such an incredible year for STATIC-X!" adds Ken Jay. “We have toured the world and celebrated the life and work of our dear friend Wayne, while playing our debut album front to back every night.. The fans have really exceeded our expectations and again, we are just so grateful!”
“Now that the touring for 2019 is coming to an end, we have revised our schedule and we are excited to finish the album so that we can get it into the hands of the fans asap,” states Campos. “I promise that it will be worth the wait!”
