Fierce screams and growls, heavy as hell riffs and pounding beats combined with some ingenious samples make Infected Rain’s style an energetic blend of the best modern metal styles the heavy music scene currently has to offer. Infected Rain had this to say about 'Storm':- “Storm is very different from what we did before. It is an insanely emotional song with really soft melody to it. This song is about the continuous search. It is about the painful path towards the perfect harmony. Harmony between the world and people, between nature and humans, and most importantly, the harmony between two souls. Two lost souls that are trying to find one another.” Watch Infected Rain's touching brand new lyric video HERE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REtjpFsl2rk Earlier this summer, the band premiered a single for the highly acclaimed track Lure. "The result of hard work and many sleepless nights, “Endorphin” has become not only a music album, but a true confession box in which we poured all of our deepest feelings and emotions. The cover of the album, being seemingly dark, reflects our eternal love for music and the stage. The black hands symbolize our band as we present the audience with our heart, with the strongest and sincerest emotions that we convey through our songs. The wire wrapped around the hands and the heart is an almost literal representation of our love for the stage, as we feel connected to it all the time and it plays an indispensable role in our lives. The name of the album, “Endorphin”, emblematizes how we feel about music, our fans and supporters, just like this hormone induces the feeling of happiness in people, we find ourselves truly happy to perform for our audience and we want to share this feeling of euphoria with each and every one of them. We are absolutely grateful to all the people who support us, for their love and constant encouragement is a proof that what we do is worth doing. Unlike many other bands nowadays, we regard our music not as a marketable product, but as a way of doing what we love and sharing it with all the people who are willing to become part of our world. We would never have been able to be where we are, to be who we are without our faithful fans and we are proud to say that we have always been and will always be true to ourselves and to them.” Infected Rain was formed in 2008 and made their first appearance on stage in the same year, performing a concert dedicated to Slayer. The themes of the eternal struggle for the right to “live in the sun”, for the right to be the first, for the right to reach the most difficult and daring dreams don’t leave the listener throughout the entire track list. On a musical side, the material is a mixture of extreme metal and a more melodic direction of modern metal music, as well as interspersed with symphonic and electronic arrangements. The melodic sound came from the influence of bands working in completely different genres: As I Lay Dying, Arch Enemy, Nightwish, etc. Aggressive couplets and breakdowns with melodic choruses are created in the style of Metalcore/Melodic Death and coexist with thrash, death and modern-metal elements. The vocal parts are represented by a combination of extreme vocals with a clean voice, which expanded the creative space for the music’s authors and gave the tracks a striking motif matched by a clear, bright voice. Thus, the recording involved two vocalists. The composition of the texts on A Million Years Of Loneliness involved the whole group agreeing on different opinions in a single concept for each individual song. The special uniqueness of the texts of the album consist of describing the atmosphere of the problems of each topic. Francis offer the listener not only a specific social, philosophical or personal problem, as food for thought, but also an interpretation of their own emotional feelings of a certain situation, thereby motivating the listener to intuitively comprehend the composition. Guitar parts were recorded in home studios. Mixing and mastering services, as well as aid in the arrangements, was provided by the studio MoonHome after a long search for the optimal sound of all instruments. Originally the group was called Guitarra del Dyablo but the decision was made to rename the group into something more memorable and easily pronounced. After much searching, Francis was officially born. Why Francis? In honor of the hurricane in America that, in the bands opinion, figuratively corresponded to their music. In March 2015, the group released it’s first album Against A Current with older material written by the band and sung in the Russian language. Over the years, the band has been active on the live scene and on April 19th 2017, Francis played the festival “Rock over Dniester” in Tiraspol which was shown on national television as “Metal Displasement over Nistru” (first Moldovan metal festival). Francis plan to play more dates around Europe soon. Now Francis are ready to release their brand new album worldwide on March 27th 2018. It will be available in all the usual formats via Sliptrick Records.
