 The band of seven musicians started the project at the middle of 2019. Les Enfants De Dagon produce a distressing dark music with a dense multi-layered black orchestration. Their musical inspiration is a mix between death, black and doom metal. The idea of the band was to create a journey with a story inspired by an H.P. Lovecraft novel based around the sea deity Dagon in lineage of several death metal & black metal band of the 90’s. The band also wants to create in their gigs a visual and unique universe in echo of their songs. The show is also telling the whole story of their first and forthcoming album De Profundis. Founded by Blood Fire and Blood Sea in Jinan city, Shandong Province, Zuriaake is one of the earliest extreme metal bands in China. After signing to Black Happiness Production, the first black metal record label in China, the band released a demo sub-series with Yngizarm, Blood Fire's personal black metal project. In this sub-series, Zuriaake began to explore Chinese black metal in both form and ideology. In 2006, Zuriaake signed to Pest Productions and started to write their debut 'Afterimage of Autumn' (released in 2007). This record turned into one of the most important albums in the history of extreme metal in China. Zuriaake, based on its simple expression technique and unique creative concept, further explored the integration of traditional Chinese music elements and black metal music in the form, and searched for the balance and intersection of Eastern and Western cultures. This record was popular outside of China as well, including Germany, the United States and Japan. After a long break due to the studies of Blood Fire, the band returned with a new EP in 2015 and a second full-length "Gu Yan". This record was highly praised by many professional metal media and fans at home and abroad. In May 2017, Zuriaake was invited by Finland's Steelfest Open Air, the largest black metal music festival in northern Europe where the band played its European debut show. The three piece became the first Chinese metal band that performed in northern Europe. Meanwhile, the first overseas tour across Europe also achieved great success. In the following years, the atmospheric black metal act returned to various European festivals, such as Roadburn, Wacken Open Air, Brutal Assault and Midgardsblot, building their name in the international metal scene. Crafted with patience and restraint the album sees the band travel further down the textured and dynamic pathways forged by their previous work as they dance from austere atmospheres to crashing walls of sound through frenetic blasts and thunderous dirges. Blending the likes of black metal, sludge and post-rock with influences even further afield the band creates a rich sound that is as beautiful as it is devastating. "Void Lustre had to be dragged into existence through loss, depression and doubt", the band comments. "Songs were crafted, reformed and discarded. Ultimately however this record is a continuation of our search for catharsis, comfort and hope found in walls of sound made only for ourselves and those like us." The video underlines the strong connection of the Mystic Metal four-piece to mystical nature and ancient traditions. Motanka will release their self-titled debut album Motanka on June 7th via Napalm Records. Influenced by traditional Ukrainian folk music, metal tunes and modern electronica, the band creates a very unique mix that the band refers to as Mystic Metal. Motanka managed to capture the trance-like magic of their live shows on their debut, which leaves each and every stereotype behind and hypnotizes with heavy ethno soundscapes. The quartet operates behind pseudonyms I, II, XX and XIX in the musical areas of cinematic metal and darker progressive rock. The listeners of murkier material by Nine Inch Nails and Faith No More will find themselves at home, alongside with the friends of the melodic side of The Gathering and cinematic soundscapes by John Carpenter. The album and EP were mixed by Mirko Nosari (Bunkker Universe, Italy) and mastered by Mika Jussila (Finnvox Studios, Finland).
