Hailing from Beijing, China, Life Awaits make their label debut by releasing, their newest single, Better now, through Dreambound's YouTube channel. With a mix of heartfelt lyrics - gutwrenching vocals and fantastic instrumentation, Life Awaits are here to impress and take no prisoners with this first single of 2019. Both new and old fans alike are bound to find lyrics and moments that will resonate within them, be it tapping their foot along to the beat, or screaming along at the top of their lungs, there's a bit for everyone to enjoy. Vocalist Yu opened up about the track:- "Better now is kind of an experimental song for us. We wanted to find connections between the lyrics and each note. I personally suffered from bipolar disorder for a period of time. So there’s anger in it and there’s also desperation. But most importantly, there is an exit from it all. And we hope the song can reach out to those who have the same problem and can find their own way out. This is also the first single release after signing with Famined Records. We are all very excited. And we hope it brings a new chapter to our career." You can stream or purchase "Better now" here. Life Awaits is a 4-piece Post-Hardcore / Alt Metal band from Beijing, China. The new single produced by Cameron Mizell (Sleeping With Sirens, Memphis May Fire) brings out melodic but powerful riffs and shines on a mix of soulful yet heavy vocals. "'Fall To Rise' is the main song from the album. The title holds the history of my life and our band. We are all working on ourselves to get better at what we do. Not always was everything perfect, we faced many fails and hard times, but they only made us stronger and actually made us better. 'Fall To Rise' is story of how people who step over, will fall against those who have already fell before and learned their mistakes, and by their turn they will rise again, only stronger, and they all keep the circle of falling and rising going. This song will be kind of the beginning of new chapters in our story." - Vocalist, Roma Sadygov Forget My Silence is a post-hardcore/metalcore band from Saint-Petersburg, Russia formed in august 2011 by vocalist Roma Sadygov. Shortly after, the band released their first music video for the single "This is only the beginning," which has since reached nearly five million views on YouTube. In November 2013, they released their debut EP Lifeline and toured around Russia, gaining a passionate following of fans before releasing the the single “Not Perfect” in 2014. The following year the band released “Virtual Privacy” (produced by Cameron Mizell) from their upcoming debut full-length Fall to Rise. "This album is a half-way stop between our early 'metal' stuff and more nu-metal sound we've dug into recently,” says guitarist Elia Solonnikov. “Simple, but powerful riffs, some harsh vocals, more soulful lyrics than Roma has ever written. If you liked Forget My Silence before, you won't be disappointed.” Facebook | Twitter Rock tinged melodic metalcore / post hardcore Vancouverites This Gun For Hire will be unleashing their debut album 'Something A Little More Sinister' on March 31, 2017. Where the drinks aren’t free and the girls ain’t pretty. Get ready for a night full of hazards, disasters, and bastards where there’s no going home! Barn Burner is This Gun for Hire‘s party jam that doesn’t let up, even for a second. Delving into the Canadian atmosphere of bush and house parties. You better dust off those dancing shoes and buckle up for a wild… ish ride. Special thanks to Kris Hellstrom for creating another awesome video for us.” This Gun For Hire recorded 'Something A Little More Sinister' with engineer and producer Roger Swan (K-OS, Battle Axe) to present their first clutch of original songs to showcase to the world. In the DIY fashion that the band have become synonymous with, the video screen content and programming for the front of house quadrophonic audio system has all been created and slaved over for months by the band themselves. Wary of the potential disaster / glorious victory that lies ahead, but never ones to shy away from lifting the curtain to show the inner-workings of their endeavours, the band consider it a wise move to ensure someone is on hand to capture it all on video. Enter Shikari met photographer / videographer Alexey Makhov on one of their now regular trips to Russia; so when he mentioned his availability prior to the tour, it struck everyone as a no-brainer. The resulting 30 minute mini-documentary mixes beautifully shot & edited live footage, behind the scenes access, and candid interviews with the band; following them from the tour’s production rehearsals right through to its conclusion at a sold out show at London’s 9000 capacity Alexandra Palace. Frontman Rou Reynolds had this to say on the subject “It was great to have Alexy along to document the biggest tour of our lives. He captured both the tension behind the scenes and the emotional release on stage perfectly! " A full audio recording of the Alexandra Palace show, however, DOES exist, and has now been mixed and mastered. Details of what will be happening with that will be forthcoming shortly. Enter Shikari have a small number of European festival dates remaining this summer, along with an outdoor headline show at Budapest’s Barba Nagra Track, before heading to Japan and finally rounding off their live 2016 with a short Australian run. The music video was shot with a 360° camera and able to viewed as such. “We like to open up to new things, and wanted to close the ’Trance’ era into a final, exciting frame. I feel we did this as it’s still very unique in Hungary to shoot a 360 degree video.” - András Gerő (Male Vocalist) Forming in Budapest, Hungary in 2014 after male vocalist András Gerő’s last band Babes In The Wood broke up, The Tumor Called Marla was quickly filled out by female vocalist Anna Burai, bassist Geri Kneif, guitarist Attila Lauter, guitarist Krisztián Farkas, and drummer Roland Jegyinák. Their style of music blending electronica and post-hardcore together is an ear pleasing, foot tapping inducing final product that has quickly gained them a local following before catching the attention of Imminence Records. They would go on to announce their signing with the label in early October before releasing their debut EP, entitled "Trance", on November 27th.
