Montreal, Canada-based speed metal trio Warsenal have joined forces with Svart Records for the release of their Feast Your Eyes full-length. Slated for worldwide release on November 15th, the anticipated follow-up to 2015's Barn Burner debut boasts the band’s most forward-thinking assortment of speed/thrash metal hymns to date and is sure to snap the necks of younger fans, alongside worshippers of the old school à la Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Anthrax.
Comments Warsenal guitarist/vocalist Mathieu Rondeau:-
"We’re really excited to be signing with Finnish label Svart Records. They have a great international visibility and are very well respected among musicians and fans alike. This makes us very honoured to be taking over the world of metal under their flag. I think that with Feast Your Eyes, we’ve really grasped what is the 'Warsenal sound' and how we want to go from there. It's still raw and filled to the brim with crazy riffs flying everywhere, but the production quality and the song structures have really taken on major improvement; call it maturity, I guess. The songs are all very different and unique, while keeping the Warsenal energy and the madness people dug on the first album. A lot of surprises and jaw-dropping is to be expected. It's definitely not your typical, generic thrash or speed metal album."
Further details on Feast Your Eyes, including track teasers and preorders, will be unveiled in the weeks to come.
Warsenal released a three-song demo in 2012 and immediately started performing live that same year. The demo quickly grasped the attention of a Japanese festival organizer, who invited the band to perform on the True Thrash Fest in February 2013 alongside the likes of legends Exciter, Violator, and Sabbat. The band gained further notoriety upon their return home, where they played shows incessantly throughout Canada. Since the release of their 2015 debut album, Barn Burner, Warsenal have remained an active live act, having toured the US, Canada, and Mexico and appearing at various metal fests, including Full Terror Assault with Overkill, Venom Inc., Crowbar, Goatwhore, Toxic Holocaust, and more. Stay tuned for further Warsenal live invasions to be announced soon.

Portuguese Prog Metallers Blame Zeus sign with Rockshots Records for third album "Seethe" out November 8th
Rockshots Records is proud to announce their latest signing of Portuguese progressive metallers Blame Zeus for the release of their third full length "SEETHE" on November 8, 2019.
With influences that range from blues to metal, their music can be described as an intense and heavy rock, but also with intimate and nostalgic ballads. Their line up features Sandra Oliveira, Tiago Lascasas, Paulo Silva, Celso Oliveira, and Ricardo Silveira.
Since forming in 2010, the band's two previous releases "Identity' (2014) (Raising Legends Records) and "Theory of Perception" (2017) have garnered much praise in their home country along with securing opening slots with bands Lacuna Coil, Moonspell, Cradle of Filth, Cellar Darling, R.A.M.P. among many others established acts. In 2018, they were invited to perform at Vagos Metal Fest, one of Portugal's biggest heavy festivals.
The band adds:-
"Our new upcoming album will still possess BZ's genome, but it will bring some fresh features you've never seen in our work. It will be heavier, darker, more progressive, and it will make the fans submerge in a turmoil of strong feelings. Fans will certainly feel our same old vibe in the songs, but recognize it has been upgraded, with a more modern sound. We worked freely, with no strings attached, using new elements, making everything sound rhythmically, harmonically and melodically intertwined. We have certainly not made things easier to ourselves, and had to evolve technically to be able to play and sing these new songs."
and vocalist Sandra Oliveira also adds:
"'Seethe' could very well be considered a conceptual album because the main theme of the songs is unexpressed anger, silent pain transformed into poetry. Its contradictory nature is the liberation of the soul, it's letting go of that lump on your throat when you have something to say. Each song speaks of a particular situation where the silence and the numbness become a vehicle for action and freedom or even utmost despair."
"Seethe" is available for pre-order here.

Formed in early 2019 by long time friends Kyle Mortiss and Morgan Weeds with the desire to bring a fresh type of Nu Metal into the world of music, the duo quickly started looking for musicians to round out the band. Kyle recruited former band mate Christian Elvins on rhythm guitar and long time friend Chris Watkins on bass and then after auditioning drummers, deciding on Luke Hill, former Hells Bells and Body Harvest beats man.

Spanish death metal pioneers Necrophiliac have just signed to Xtreem Music for the release of their long-awaited sophomore album, which comes 27 years after their legendary debut "Chaopula - Citadel of Mirrors", released back in 1992 by the pre-Xtreem Music label, Drowned Productions. This new album is being recorded and is set to be finished by the end of the year. Release date is planned for February 2020.
Necrophiliac emerged in 1988 and recorded 5 demos before releasing their classic debut album "Chaopula - Citadel of Mirrors" in 1992, becoming a genre milestone within the Spanish death metal scene. The band dissolved a year later, and returned in 2016 coinciding with the Xtreem Music re-issue of their album in a 2-CD set with all their demos, under the title of "Maze of Forking Paths". Since then, the band has been offering selected shows within the Spanish territory and writing new songs for what will be their second full-length, which is being recorded by Jesús "Punti" Montilla in the Sonic Banana Studios and will be mastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound Studios. The cover art will be a conceptual work created by the artist Artem Grigoryev.
The current line-up of Necrophiliac has four of the original members:
Plus the newly incorporated bassist Ramón. The new album will be available in CD and 12 "LP.

Italian group Abeyance aim to reshape the 90’s Melodeath style through the music, vocals and deep introspection-oriented lyrics, whilst offering its own unique sound and identity. Although the band is inspired by old school sounds, more modern influences can be found within the bands deep grooves.
The project was founded in early 2016 by drummer Michele Adami and the vocalist Jacopo Marinelli. As Michele started the songwriting work, the guitarists Gianluca Fraschini and Andrea Mantelli joined the band, contributing to compositions. A more progressive mark was brought by soloist Gianluca and from the other side more classic riff structures from Andrea.
In summer 2018, the songs for a new EP were almost complete with other tracks kept aside for future releases. With this in mind, the band decided to enter the recording studio in November. Michele completed and recorded the bass lines (taking over the work of original bassist Rebecca Bertozzo), in addition to his drums parts. Guitars and vocals followed shortly after until the EP was completed in late January. The band is now determined to steadily grow and offer their music to the an expanding audience, starting with both local and national live shows. The new EP Portraits of Mankind will be released via Sliptrick Records soon with Abeyance already working on more material for future full-length releases.

Brazilian black/death/thrash metal legends Vulcano have signed a two-album record deal and publishing agreement with Mighty Music. The band from São Paulo is currently putting the final touches on their new, 11th studio album, entitled "Eye In Hell", which will be released on LP, CD and digital in early 2020 worldwide on the Danish label.
